Well living like a zombie, for over 10yrs only to be told,i am not sick, but i feel like i am dreaming and nothing is real. Could this be linked to mercury poisoning? Well to make a long story short, after numerous doctors, specialist, tests, and prescribed drugs in which i refused to take along with symptoms of impending doom panics attacks, phobias from driving, fying, to just leaving my home, dizziness fatigue, feeling out of placei just received a mercury toxicity test, which showed a level of 52 (anyone familiar,or have similar numbers)i was told the normal levels were something like a 3,and mine are off the charts.(can someone enlighten me on this). Basically i wanna know what should be my next step towards gaining my life back,i honestly feel like a walking dead man (no amplification of that description either) Btw i am only 29 yrs old and my father who is 59 has more energy, coordination and motivation than i do.i was an athlete in highschool. I also have about 13 amalgam fillings.

The first thing that you need to do is to have your amalgam fillings removed by a dentist that takes special precautions to keep you from getting even more poisoned.
After that you need to start on some type of chelation therapy to detoxify your body. I have taken IV DMPS infusions but the side effects can be severe and it is expensive. Other people use DMSA, alpha lipoic acid, or various natural chelating agents. You have to find what works best for you.
I recommend that you buy Andy Cutler's book on amalgam illness.
52 indicates that you probably have a huge amount of mercury in your body. I was in the "very elevated" range with numbers in the 20's and I am terribly ill.

You need to get the amalgams OUT. Yes, what you're experiencing is related to mercury absolutely. I would suggest that at this time, you might want to get yourself as healthy as you possibly can (which might be almost impossible) by cleaning up your diet by not eating sugar, yeast or gluten grains. This can begin to help your gut, lessen the candida in your body (candida comes with mercury, it causes it's own suffering also) and help your immune system a little more. Take things like vitamin C, some selenium, vitamin E, magnesium, zinc and milk thistle if you can. These should help a little. Don't take vitamin C near a dental appointment, as it erases the effects of the anesthetic. So stop taking vitamin C about two days before the appointment.
When you reach a point of having your amalgams out and replaced with composites. Then you need to get on a safe chelation/detox programme to begin helping your body eliminate the stored mercury. Andy Cutler's protocol is the safest I've heard so far. You might want to join the forum where people use his protocol. It is called frequent dose chelation and the other one is adult metal chelation.
HOpe this helps a little. Main thing now if you're not already, is to help get yourself a little stronger in the meantime with diet and supplements to prepare yourself. Sometimes diet is absolutely crucial to help cope easier with the mercury.
Best wishes and hang in there.

Thanks for the feed back,i haven't started any kind of diet,or supplement treatmaent as of yet,i just got the results from the heavymetal screen this past week, and offcourse i suffer from severe brainfog so it's hard for me to plan anything out. After years of suffering from bouts of severe anxiety, having them go away,me feeling a little bit normal, but not really normal so to speak, then they would come back. I suffer from every symptom known from the dizziness,or socalled drunk feeling, anxiety, floaters in my vision swollen lymph nodes, blackheads, coated tongue with spots, excessive saliva, slurred speach, weak muscles, and brain fog,and offcourse every specialist or doctor i visit says you're normal youre just suffering from stress and anxiety. If i wasn't a suicide case waiting to happpen i don't know what one is. My main problem is financing my recovery, because i still have to live life, and i am to the point wher i may be going out of work on temporary disability. Any ideas on how to cope financially as well as physically will be greatly appreciated, because offcourse health insurance doesnot cover most of these treatments. If i didn't pay for my tests out of pocket,i don't think i would last another year.

Hi, I"m suffering a lot of what you are suffering. I completely understand that any task, anything at all becomes overwhelming and you just want to break down and run away from it all.
I would not plan anything at this point because you are too ill. The diet side of things? That I would do. It's pretty crucial. You don't have to plan anything, you just stop eating sugar, yeast, and gluten grains. Eat things mainly like you would normally eat without this other stuff. It might seem dramatic, but it can be a life saver for many of us.
That would be the first thing I would do. I am struggling financially too. I am on a sickness benefit to where I get a certain amount of money each week and that is it. I always have to pay things off, and I feel like i"m losing my mind because I am in debt and all this because of the dental profession.
I belong to a mercury toxic forum online called frequent dose chelation. Many people on there are in this situation and I believe some can get help financially and might be able to let you know what to do.
I wish I coudl be of more help. I feel on the edge too and wonder how long I can honestly keep going... I have no idea.
Diet did help me though, saved my life at one point. I didn't actually take any supplements at that stage, just stopped eating sugar, yeast etc and I didn't notice any improvements at first, got worse actually for a while and then things improved greatly for me. HOwever, since that time, I've had other things go wrong, re-exposure to mercury and something else that has hurt me very badly (taking garlic, which pushed mercury into my brain and nerovus system), so now I am a jibbering mess.
anyway, hope this is not overwhelming at all for you, I do know what you mean. You just find any instruction or any advice too much, yet at the sametime you desperately need help.
But the option is there if you feel like trying it.
take care and hope you can hang on in there.

Thanks alot for the feed back, does anyone think it's a good idea to start vitamin c and e with delenium along with algin(can't remember correct name) i just placed n order for all three suppliments. Also any reccommended dosage to start would be greatly appreciated,i have gone two far to turn back now. I have kept this under disguise for too long i need to live a normal life or i'm not really living. Only the strong survive, keep your heads up,i have fought extreme bouts of anxiety and panic for years without taking one ounce of prescription medication, because deep down i know something wasn't right, and doing that is like putting on a bandaid or sweeping the real cause under a rug.

HI, I think you're doing what you can under the circumstances . As for the rest? In time when you're able.
I can't do a thing now. I'm so sick. I don't take any prescriptions for anxiety, depression or anything, it is like a bandaid yes. But a bandaid can be crucial sometimes whilst a person detoxes mercury. However, I find it's too complicated because my symptoms are too weird and changeable, that frankly I don't think any medication can help. I also react too easily to anything I take also.
NOt sure of the correct dosage of the algin, but I think russ or someone said about 2-3 capsules, three times daily or as much as you need. Vitamin C, I think can be about 2000 mg, 3-4 times a day. Selenium, is normally no more than 300 mcg once a day, but about 100 mcg is a good dose to be on. (do not take vitamin C and selenium close together, vitamin C can eliminate some of the effects of selenium, so take two hours apart from eachother).
Hope that's helpful.

Hi strength, thanks for your kind words. I am not doing well at all and cannot even get across how bad it is. Have thought of suicide, but am trying to push to get through eachday. My devastation has been caused by recent dental office visit. I become repoisoned even if I enter a dental office and this dentist assured me that his office was clear of mercury, as he had a "sophisticated extractin system". He doesn't use mercury, but of course, removes it.
So though I have no dental amalgams, I went to see him for consultation regarding my incompatible dental materials, plus needing cavitation surgery. Now I am repoisoned. It took me two years from a last dental visit to gain enough strength to see another dentist. Now I'm worse than ever.
I am spending most days in a stupor like condition, in pain and very angry. I knew it was the mercury in his office, because a few hours after I saw him, the unmistakeable symptoms began to appear. Uncontrollable giggling fits, wheezing in lungs, then depression and burning and itching all over my face and ears. Since that time, things have just simply been a nightmare.
I have tried detoxing, but have all sorts of problem affecting my ability to excrete. So not able to heal. I really hope I can take on your philisophy of being strong! Because I've been ill for 19 years now. But none of those years were anything compared to the last few.
This dentist couldn't careless about what has occured and I spent thousands on him for the xrays, testing and supplemetns and consultations. Nothing I can do now.
I try and pray, but sometimes I don't think anybody up there is listening. I'm sorry, I know this sounds very self pitying, but I guess I'm really at the end of my tether.
thanks for listening though! And I hope for you that you can be a success story from this nightmare.

Hang in there anonymous!!! I also coudnt afford mercury filling removal- but I figured- HECK- im getting it done anyways!! I just ended up doing not the best way-- by going to an ordinary dentist (who refuses to use mercury in his practice) but I had him do all the correct protocols (by using a rubber dam while drilling out metal fillings, and by having him use a high suction drill so that any mercury bits were quickly sucked up while drilling them out.
I paied about $95.00 a dental visit on average for two metal fillings removed per visit. It took me from May 2005 to September 2005 before all 8 fillings were replaced. Getting it done gradually for me seemed to help my body cope and not go into shock. I made sure to supplement with Algin and Vitamin C with bioflavonoids, and activated charcoal beforea and after each visit. I also drank alot of fluids afterwards, and I kept my eyes covered with eye glasses and covered my hair with a bandanna during the drilling. I rinsed my eyes with canned saline solution in the car after each dental visit When Home, I quickly showered/shampooed.
My dental insurance did not cover for the composite fillings.
I even ended up putting my last 2-3 visits on credit card- but paid them off.
It was worth it- I only make $7.50 an hour paycheck. it will help keep you out of the nursing home when you are older, so it is actually a wise $$ investment!

In response to the question earlier about the dosages for C, E and Algin... Vitamin C - 3000 mg to 8000 mg per day depending on weight. Some can go up to 10000 mg or higher but I would not do that for extended periods of time unless you're on a cancer treatment plan or another plan that requires it. Remember not to take Vitamin C with 48 hours prior to a dental appointment in which local anestesia will be used. Vitamin C can interfere with this causing many to have unnecessary pain and they never learn the reason why. Vitamin E - I would take about 450 iu per day no matter what size you are. Algin - I would take about 1500 mg per dose (three capsules of NSP-Brand) three-times per day if you're not detoxing and do not have fillings currently in. I would take about 2000 mg four times per day if you're detoxing or have amalgam fillings in.

What you said is correct. The Algin (at 1500mg to 2000mg) should be taken 3 to 4 times per day. Borage oil looks good as well.

If trying new things, I would only add in one thing at a time and go for a week to see how your body reacts.
Sudden changes in supplementation or diet can cause interesting effect for the mercury toxic.
Just a tip. Hope it helps.

Hi strength,
What's in the green food supplement you're taking? If it contains Chlorella it might be stirring up the mercury.

Had first three amalgams removed yesterday, and replaced with composite. I did have the biocompatibility test done first to make sure i would have no reactions. When i got out of the chair,i could hardly stand up straight without stumbling, felt like that all day yesterday,i have this aching brhind my eyes also along with weak legsmi just started thyroid supplement. I feel like crap, well this is just the beginning. 3 down seven to go Should i be very concerned with feeling this way or is this just a part of the whole process of ridding the body of toxins. Another thing is my gums were bleeding like crazy, always had a problem with this,i had a root canal 2yrs ago that doesn't seem right the gumarea is always sensitive to flossing,or just food getting caught between the teeth.

You're on your way. It's rougher for some than others so this is probably just part of the process for you. Just keep track of how you feel from day to day and see if it improves over the next few days. It should. If you're taking Thyriod Support, stay with it. It takes a couple days for most people to feel the difference, but it's good when you do. If you don't, increase the dose little by little. It should help relieve you from the brain fog and/or fatigue and other thyroid-related issues but it's effect comes on over a period of days. Keep us posted.

Thanks for the reply, and offcourse as you describe this experience, once you take one step forward,be prepared to take two steps back. I have my second appointment scheduled for 2 weeks but offcourse you know it falls on the same day as the first(7,14,21,28 immune cycle rule),and the dentist is away for 2 weeks on vacation the following day (just great). I don't think i should take that chance and have removal on the 14th day after the first,so now i am confused as of what to do,and i also lost some trust in the dentist, because when i tried t explain it to the receptionist she looked at me as if i was crazy. i wanted to have them out before the summers end,but we will see what happens, symptoms are pretty much the same,my largest and most contaminating filing/s are still in ,so i did'nt expect a dramatic change in symptoms.

I see what you mean. You had a tough time with the first removal so perhaps it's a blessing in disguise that you're dentist is out for a couple weeks. Perhaps you should avoid the 14th day removal and give your body some additional time to rest.
I certainly wouldn't rush this process. Safety first!
