According to http://www.freepress.net/congress/billinfo.php?id=168, Senator Ron Wyden (D-Or.) has proposed a bill that will make it illegal for network operators (ie. Verizon, AT&T, etc.) to throttle traffic. This bill will codify into law the spirit of net neutrality, rendering the COPE act toothless. Please write to your senators and tell them to support this bill.
