thank you for your reply , my symptoms started with instant red, heated, type of rash across the cheeks , nose, and neck, along with my fingers appearing to have red swollen appearance across them, with palpatations. they thought i was having an allergic reaction and gave me benadryl. next day ,went to my dr he put me on prednisone, making it worse. i was currently taking prozac, for panic attacks/depression as it seems to run in my family. after that i was rxed benadryl,i had a drunk feeling when i took it,not good.i was sent to an allergist who really went to bat for me. my symptoms were the flushing along w/ terrible muscle aches, shortness of breath and of course anxiety, and vision, sinus issues.he did a whole slew of tests incl a mri w/ opticals, lupus, lymes, thyroid and scratch tests, all came back neg. i was instructed to try to go off the prozac as it could be the problem within a week i was crying like a river. i was referred to an angioademist for the swelling. she said it was not angioadema, also she did a challenge to but me back on the prozac,i really seemed to need it. i was in the er here and there, over the next few months, even on christmas day. my symptoms were out of the blue, puffy face, hands and feet, short of breath w/panic,gradually a new symptom of numbness down my arms, and on the left side of my face,w/ a fluttering type sensation started also, at the er they said i should see a neuro, they addmitted me for observation at the hosp i kept waking up short of breath in the middle of the night. i never actually saw the neuro, but the dr said it could be some kind of sympathic thing.after seeing my own neuro, he ran an mra of arteries and had a doppler done, all neg he called it a sympathic phenomenon. possibly fibromyalgia. my stomach was keeping me up at night so my dr thought it could be acid reflux, i had a test done and found out i had moderate gerd. i went to see a gastro dr , he ordered a gallbladder func study, mine was not functiong,so i had it removed. i thought that i would feel alot beteer after surgery, the surgeon said that could cause all kinds of symptoms. no such luck. i was still up at night, belching terribly, along w/ my other symptoms.i went to a rheumetologist(all along thinking lupus),seeking for help w/ fibromyalgia. she said no way, you don't have it because of your swelling. in the mean time i was on and off 7 different anti depressants trying to find one i didn't have a reaction to.i was loosing my mind.my symptoms today are chest pains, intermittent puffiness in face , hands and feet, palpitations, floaters in eyes, loss of concentration, memory problems, being in a fog , anxiety, crying spells, temper flare ups, pain in neck, jaw and face, horrible migranes, and indegestion, sour stomach, bad breath, skin dryness and raised patches all over my body, bad perspiration.
