The CDC has a page called "Don't Mess with Mercury." This page of information was put together in conjunction with the Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry (ATSDR).
Does this seem hypocritical to you? Look atwhat it takesto clean up a mercury spill. Look at what it takesto clean up a TINY drop of mercury that may come from a broken mercury thermometer. Schools and businesses have paid up to $1M to clean up a mercury spill.
And yet, mercury is injected into a 6-month-old baby and into seniors in a flu shot. Why is mercury in vaccines considered to be 'safe'?
Many vaccines still contain thimerosal - which is 49% ethyl mercury. Here's a list of vaccines with mercury; note how many of them are flu shots.
No matter what the CDC, the AAP and the WHO say about thimerosal, the mercury found in vaccines (ethyl mercury) is as toxic, just as dangerous as the (methylmercury) found in the environment. Both types of mercury can harm the brain and cause permanent changes.
The pro-vaccine naysayers all spout that "mercury doesn't cause autism." Is this true? What DOES mercury do to the brain?
