---OUR GREAT INTERCESSOR~~

-"Since we have a great high priest who has gone through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to the faith we profess."
---(Hebrews 4:14= NIV)--

Jesus did not abandon us when He left the earth and ascended to heaven. He gave us the authority of His name and sent the Holy Spirit to the earth as our helper and guide. He is our High Priest, seated at the right hand of God the Father. The Bible says that Jesus not only gave His earthly life as a sacrifice so that you and I might gain entrance into the Kingdom of God, but that He even now is taking our prayers before the throne of God Himself. Even as Jesus-followers, we are not perfect. Life can be very difficult, and sometimes our challenges seem monumental. All the while our adversary seeks to undermine our trust in God. As the storms of life are raging around you, remember that Jesus is on your side and hold firmly to the faith you profess.

**THINK ABOUT IT
--When you imagine Jesus, do you think of His earthly existence, His heavenly existence, or both?**

**PRAYER
--"Heavenly Father, Jesus, Your Son, is my High Priest who intercedes for me. He has completely and perfectly fulfilled the qualifications of the Law on my behalf. May I hold firm to Him and walk in all that He has done for me, all the days of my life. In Jesus’ name, amen."
