----FAITH NOT WORRY ~~

“Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”
----(Isaiah 41:10 NIV)-- bible

---Worry has to do with fearing the future; it is anticipating that something bad will happen. There is an inverse relationship between faith and worry: Faith diminishes as worry flourishes, and worry diminishes as faith flourishes. Worry is saying, “I don’t think God can handle this, so I am going to pick it up.
I am going to invest time and emotional energy in my fear and anxiety, even knowing that I am not going to change the outcome one bit.”

Scripture has much to say about worry, with the overarching message being “Don’t do it!” What Scripture does tell us to do is 'Cast our cares upon God and trust Him with the future. He has promised to not abandon us, but to strengthen us, help us, and uphold us. What do we have to fear when the God of the Universe is on our side?

***THINK ABOUT IT
--What is your response to challenging situations? Do you make worry a habit, or do you trust the Lord with your cares and concerns?

**PRAYER

---"Heavenly Father, what have I to fear? I have put my faith in Jesus Christ, Your Son. He is my Rock, and I will submit to Him. When I am tempted to worry, I will confess it to You. Grant me a hunger for the things of God. You are my Hope and my Redeemer. In Jesus’ name, amen." prayer

[ star Honestly, now. Did God save you so you would fret? Would He teach you to walk just to watch you fall? Would he be nailed to the Cross for your sins and then disregard your prayers? Come on. Is Scripture teasing us when it reads, "He has put his angels in charge of you to watch over you wherever you go"? ~~~(Psalm 91:11).
I don't think so either. ~~ / ML~]
