This is what I used for depression. I never saw a doctor for my depression, nor took any OTC or prescription drugs. I use the natural method, natures way, I smoke pot. A lot. 10 years, some years every day. I would say it helped massively with the depression, which was why I never needed to see a doctor for it, but…… But I’m sure there must have been a better way…… At the end, before I gave up, it was not helping me in any way….. And I was addicted, no question about that. I think it blotted out a lot of pain which was good, but it also stopped me from actually doing anything about my aches and pains. I had a smoke and everything went away…..literally….I drifted off in a cloud of smoke.
When I say I used it for depression, I am exaggerating, what I should say is it was a way of life, and it happened to help me get through my depression.
When I gave up it was easy, but by then I had already given up so many things I was a seasoned pro at giving anything up.
Overall I agree with your comments 95pct, but it is not all good, it is addictive, and it takes away the focus that is needed to get well. If you used it specifically for a purpose, pain or depression, and used it when was needed…then yes…I agree…but if I becomes a way of life, like it did for me, then I disagree. I smoked pot because that’s what I did, that’s how I handled life….in a haze.
Saying all that, I would not change anything, I loved it <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/oldsmoker.gif" alt="" />
