Hi, I agree with the previous posts. The functions in the brain being poisoned by mercury definitely affect the other areas. But one thing that should always be treated alongside mercury is CANDIDA. Candida is a yeast inside the body that gets out of control in most mercury toxic patients. Causing it's own myriad of symptoms and often hard to tell if it's candida or mercury, they both cause similar issues.
Anybody with mercury needs to stick to a strict healthy diet in order to lessen the candida in the body and control it WHILE they detox mercury. If you don't, you'll be suseptible to mercury, and find it harder to cope and detox.
Candida is notorious for causing urinary problems, as well as it's ability to affect organs and brain and prostate in men as well as reproductive organs in women. So mercury and candida go hand in hand.
The best things a person with mercury toxicity can do, apart from amalgam removal is pay strict attention to their diet. When mercury toxic people do not bother, this can destory more recoveries than anything. Diet is essential in helping in recovery and can alleviate and even eliminate some symptoms. Avoid sugar completely, in order to starve out the candida overgrowth and bring it into check, allowing the immune system to breath easier and also detoxes the body better. You should avoid not only sugar, but often wheat/gluten, and yeast, which means bread.
You might need to limit fruit in take because of the natural sugar and even milk. Depending on how bad you have it. Some people have to get so strict, they can't have milk, fruit or potatoes! You have to figure out that yourself. But the worst offenders are sugar, yeast and gluten.
So if you take all these things into consideration, you might find at the very least you're stronger to deal with the mercury and should be able to detox easier.
Just some words of advice. I have to tell you that candida along with mercury nearly caused me to commit suicide. Although mercury is at the bottom of it, I did not address candida and stayed on a "realtively ok diet" but still allowed some sugar in and bits of this and that, and wheat and gluten. Oneday I decided to go strict becuase I was truly at the end of my tether. It was not easy at first because you start to get "die off" as the candida fights to survive you will feel worse and get cravings. I hung in there and it took 3 weeks before the die off subsided and I felt ALOT better.
Though now, I've had other things occur that have tipped me into a severe condition. But at the time, the diet was crucial. It might help you. I'd consider it. Candida does indeed get into the urinary tract and organs.
