Thank Trump for Pulling U.S. Out of UN Migration Compact

The positive fallout from the defeat of Democrat Hillary Clinton in 2016 and the 2017 departure of Barack Obama from the White House continues. Keeping alive President Trump's pledge to "make America great again," the Trump administration recently pulled the United States out of a dangerous UN immigration pact. If trade agreements, military alliances, summit meetings, and other international ties don't succeed in completely canceling America's sovereignty, New World Order planners always come up with some new scheme that has to be opposed. The latest path to canceling sovereignty is tied to refugees and immigration.

It is hardly a surprise to note that there has been little coverage in the mass media about our nation's quitting the UN's pact dealing with immigration and refugees. As we have stated in the past, all who wish to be informed about important matters should be readers of the JBS Bulletin and the articles appearing in the print and online venues of The New American.

It was on December 2, 2017, that U.S. Ambassador to the UN Nikki Haley informed the world body's secretary- general that "the United States is ending its participation in the Global Compact on Migration." Our nation had signed on to this danger-filled trap courtesy of the Obama administration. In typical acceptance of any step toward world government, Obama himself had agreed to this weakening of U.S. sovereignty in September 2016 by signing a UN resolution entitled "New York Declaration for Refugees and Migrants."

No president believing in independence for our nation should ever sign such an agreement.

Specific objections to this New York Declaration include requiring participating countries to submit to such entanglements as:

• accepting a responsibility to protect refugees and the countries that shelter them;
• supplying support to those countries affected by large influxes of refugees and migrants;
• agreeing to the core elements of a future Comprehensive Refugee Response Framework; and,
• agreeing to work toward adoption of a global compact on refugees during 2018.

On December 2, the U.S. Mission to the United Nations issued a press release, which included this statement:

The New York Declaration contains numerous provisions that are inconsistent with U.S. immigration policy and the Trump Administration's immigration principles....

This press release also included this refreshingly no nonsense statement by Ambassador Haley informing the UN of our nation's decision to exit what Obama had signed on to:

America is proud of our immigrant heritage and our long-standing moral leadership in providing support to migrant and refugee populations across the globe. No country has done more than the United States, and our generosity will continue. But our decisions on immigration policies must always be made by Americans and Americans alone. We will decide how best to control our borders and who will be allowed to enter our country. The global approach in the New York Declaration is simply not compatible with U.S. sovereignty. [Emphasis added.]

Thank President Trump by phone (202-456-1111) for pulling the United States out of the Global Compact on Migration. Then phone your U.S. representative (202-225-3121) and senators (202-224-3121) to tell them that the UN Global Compact on Migration that our nation has recently rejected is one more reason for supporting H.R. 193, which would withdraw our nation - completely and finally - from the United Nations.

Please also email President Trump and your congressmen with the same message.

Thanks.
