--I believe in Jesus Christ, God’s only Son, our Lord. That last phrase is somewhat different. It’s not about Jesus’ position in the Trinity. It’s not about His title.
It’s about the relationship we have with Him.

--There will be all sorts of beings in hell who believe that Jesus is the Son of God. Even the devil and the demons believe that, but they chose not to confess Him as Lord. One of the mistakes we make is thinking that sitting in church or embracing a set of rules makes us a Jesus-follower. The real defining point with regard to the Kingdom of God is our decision about our relationship with Jesus of Nazareth and whether we choose to yield to Him as Lord of our lives.
