hey guys, I ran a provoked challenge test yesterday and samples via urine today in the morning. I took 3 doses of DMSA and ALA, 250mg each, in between meals and collected my urine today in the morning on a home test kit. Showed no sign of it.

However, my Ulcerative Colitis still remains. I see yellowish type of flakes in my stool floating. Could these be parasites causing my colitis? Anyways, I have ordered Garden of Life Primal defense, anyone ever hear of it? They say its the magic pro-biotic which heals colitis.

First, may I say Congratulations on being Mercury-Free!!!!

Secondly, I have taken "Garden of Life Primal Defense" and it is good.....I like most of Jordin Rubins products but because I still have a lot of mercury dental fillings, it's best if I stay away from probiotics. But I know a couple of people who didn't have dental fillings and they could take it, according to his recommendation and they loved the results.

People with mercury dental fillings can have a lot of parasites.....do a search for Dr. Hulda Clark....she says you need three supplements together for it to be effective; black walnut hulls, cloves and wormwood.

I am confused on how you took this test...Did you take the DMSA on the day of your urine collection?..Did you also test for all the other metals? Just wondering, because i had lead along with my mercury...thanks

hey Sandra, No, I collected the urine that was sampled the following morning after the provoked challenge test. I did a ALA and DMSA provoked test, reason being. I knew that my body had rid itself of mercury, now I was curious if it was hidden in deep tissue, such as brain and etc... so I took ALA as well along with DMSA. I took 300mg of DMSA and ALA, 3 times a day in between meals. I didnt even feel any side effects of such. following morning collected urine sample and showed negative. as in no sign of mercury.

As for lead, my fall 2005 hair analysis showed a little bit of TIN, but I took care of that with DMSA. - Mike
