--Five Qualities of Friendship~~

--**BIBLE MEDITATION:
“Finally, be ye all of one mind, having compassion one of another, love as brethren, be pitiful, be courteous.”
--- (1 Peter 3:8)

--**DEVOTIONAL THOUGHT:
--**There are five qualities of friendship.**

***1.) Harmony. We are to be of one mind, not necessarily singing the same note, but complimenting one another.

***2.) Sympathy. We hurt when friends hurt. The world is looking for friends like this.

***3.) Fraternity. We are to love one another like brothers. There is no brotherhood like the brotherhood in Jesus Christ.

***4.) Pity. If you want to be a real friend, you’re going to have to feel deeply. You’ll need to put yourself in the place of the other person.

***5.) Humility. Genuine courtesy is thinking of the other person’s needs before your own. You are less concerned with your rights, and more concerned about the relationship.

**ACTION POINT:
--**Begin to develop these characteristics of friendship in your life and watch God change your world!**

--LAUGHTER~~

--A salesperson stops by to see one of his business customers. Not a soul is in
the office except a Beagle emptying wastebaskets.

"I'll be finished in a few minutes," the Beagle says.
"Incredible!" exclaims the man. "Does your boss know what a prize he has in
you? An animal that talks!"-

Alarmed, the Beagle drops the wastebasket. "No, please don't tell him!" he pleads.
"If he finds out I can talk, he'll make me answer the phones too!"

-TWO hours into a flight, the pilot gets on the intercom. "We just lost an engine,"
he announces. "It's all right--we have three more. But the flight will take us an hour
longer."
A half hour later: "We just lost another engine. Don't worry; we have two more. It'll
take us another two hours, though."

In the back, a passenger rolls her eyes. "Great!" she says to her seatmate. "If
we lose the last two engines, we'll be up here all day." ~~

--The believer who lives close to the Father's heart is free to express his feelings to Him. You do not have to be uptight with God. He knew every detail of your life the moment He created you. When you were saved, the Lord Jesus Christ understood all of your past failures and hang-ups and your future struggles.

There will be times when you do not understand what God is up to in your life. God's presence may seem distant. Because you have God's assurance of His presence and because of His unceasing activity on your behalf, you can still cling to Him and worship Him in the knowledge of His love for you. Refuse to allow the enemy entrance into your mind. Stay focused on the Bible, the Holy Word of God. The LORD speaks to us through the Bible.
"And the peace of God which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." -[Philippians 4:7]
