Yes, mercury does come out through the pores when detoxing. In fact, the day after my amalgams were removed, I got a number of small red areas on my skin that itched. Dr. Huggins make a reference to this as being common when mercury comes out through the skin.

This is, perhaps, the best way to detox mercury because it eliminates the distress mercury can cause on the digestive system and helps prevent reabsorption via the colon which is a real problem when detoxing via the digestive system (which can be averted with Algin).

The only issue people have with mercury exporting via the skin is mutations. Mercury causes small genetic mutations and therefore causes cancer, and more often, causes moles to form under the arms, on the neck and on the inner-thighs. These areas are most affected because these are the areas where the lymphatic system drains the most.
