Now that your amalgams are out, you could use chlorella, but I would be sure to take Algin along with the chlorella. Here's why...

Chlorella is going to help mobilize mercury from where it has been stored. Algin will bind to the mercury in the colon to make sure it gets eliminated and help prevent it from being reabsorbed back into the bloodstream. Often times, people begin feeling worse when they start detoxing too soon after their amalgam removal, simply because they are pulling more mercury out of the tissues than their body is capable of eliminating. When this happens, the body reabsorbs some of this mercury and redistributes it, in essence, re-poisoning you. So, watch how you react to the chlorella and if you start feeling worse, either increase your Algin intake or decrease or discontinue the chlorella until you feel better.

I would also recommend taking lots of antioxidants, particularly vitamin C with bioflavonoids and vitamin E with selenium. The bioflavonoids work together with vitamin C to increase its antioxidant activity, and vitamin E require the trace mineral selenium in order to function properly. Both these substances are especially important for mercury toxic people. Here's some additional info, in case you'd like to know more: Vitamin C with Citrus Bioflavonoids, Vitamin E with Selenium.
