-A hymn about...
-SALVATION --
-Charles Wesley, 1738

---And Can It Be?

And can it be that I should gain
An interest in the Savior's blood?
Died He for me, who caused His pain--
For me, who Him to death pursued?
Amazing love! How can it be,
That Thou, my God, shouldst die
for me?

He left His Father's throne above
So free, so infinite His grace--
Emptied Himself of all but love,
And bled for Adam's helpless race;
'Tis mercy all, immense and free,
For O my God it found out me!

Long my imprisoned spirit lay,
Fast bound in sin and nature's night;
Thine eye diffused a quickening ray--
I woke, the dungeon flamed with light;
My chains fell off, my heart was free,
I rose, went forth, and followed Thee.

No condemnation now I dread;
Jesus, and all in Him, is mine;
Alive in Him, my living Head,
And clothed in righteousness divine,
Bold I approach th'eternal throne,
And claim the crown, through Christ
my own. ~~

--GOD WILL MAKE A WAY~~

--There can be no crown of Love
Without a Cross to bear,
And there is no salvation
Without faith and love and prayer...

And when we take our needs to God
Let us pray as did His Son
That dark night in Gethsamane--
"Thy will, not mine, be done."

God will make a way
Where there seems to be no way.
He works in ways we cannot see,
He will make a way for me.

And He will be my Guide
Hold me closely to His side,
With love & strength for
Each new day, He will make a way. (x2)

Our Savior's resurrection
Was God's way of telling men
That in Christ we are eternal
And in Him we live again...

And to know life is unending
and God's love is endless, too,
Makes our daily tasks and
burdens much easier to do.~~

God will make a way
Where there seems to be no way.
He works in ways we cannot see,
He will make a way for you... and me. ~~

--The Lord God is With You Always!

--The LORD your God in your midst,
The Mighty One, will save;
He will rejoice over you with gladness,
He will quiet you with his love,
He will rejoice over you with singing."
--(Zephaniah 3:17)

--CAST Your Burdens on Him,
seek His counsel when distressed,
And go to Him for comfort
when you're lonely and oppressed...

For in God is our encouragement
in trouble and in trials,
And in suffering and in sorrow
He will turn our tears to smiles.~~

-GOD'S LOVE is like an Island
In life's ocean vast and wide--

A peaceful, quiet shelter from
the restless, rising tide.

GOD'S love is like a fortress,
and we seek protection there
When the waves of tribulation
Seem to drown us in despair.~~ /
