Hey Elaine, You're very welcome for the information. Here are some responses to your questions/statements: I personaly would prefer to have them all removed at one time but I imagine the dentist (who is a Huggins recommendation) will be super expensive. And I have been reading that it's best not to have the whole mouth done at one time. In may situations, they've discovered that it really is OK to have the entire mouth done at one time. It really is a judgement call between you and the dentist. My husband's boss is recommending his personal (local) dentist, this dentist doesn't know anything about proper removal but the boss says this guy would do it a lot cheaper and that I can ask him to do a few things that I think are the most important. And if I can get the mercury removed at a resonable price, then it might be worth it. I would not go to a dentist that has not been specially trained in mercury removal. I know many people who thought they were saving money by going to a regular dentist only to find that, not only did they spend more money than a mercury-free dentist would have cost, but they became extremely sick after because the regular dentist did not properly protect them from the mercury vapor during the removal. I would call around and get prices from mercury-free dentists and also find out which ones take the necessary precautions or you may find yourself in worse condition than before you started. Many have. You will find that the prices regular dentists charge as well as the prices that mercury-trained dentists charge for removal both vary greatly from one to the next. Shop around. Safety Precautions During Mercury Removal I remember reading that Huggins says one shouldn't cross the center line until they have removed everything on that side......How does this work if the voltage thing requires that the bottom right side should be first and the top left side is next? They have discovered that crossing the center line is not really such an issue. Quadrant-voltage order is the more important issue. All the best and please keep us posted.
