Hi I am new here, and thrilled to have found this forum. I have had candida all my life and recently had my amalgams removed. I am getting overwhelmed with all the stuff but I am determined to help others with this affliction. I had my posts shut down on one yeast forum because they didn't want to talk about mercury, so I moved to another and made it my mission to help them understand that if they have metal fillings and candida, they very likely have metal toxicity. And it is working, but I also make it very clear, that is has to be done under the guidance of an experienced practitioner.
I haven't started formal chelation yet and after reading some info here, I am not going to start for awhile. I realize now that my recent episodes of ups and downs are all part of my body doing it's own detox.
I was wondering if some blood types are predisposed to more severe metal toxicity. Recently we did a poll on the Yeast connection forum and most everyone was blood type O. I know there is a certain type of protein in our blood that make us less able to excrete metals but I also wonder if it has anything to do with blood types.
Thanks so much to you all for participating in this forum...it may mean alot to some folks that are sick, unable to work and can't afford to pay for treatment.

Sandi, Welcome to our forum. We'd love to hear more about your story. In fact, I have a growing collection of stories at my website: http://mercurytalk.comIf you're interested, please feel free to submit yours to me and I'll post it on our forums, websites and groups related to mercury. I'm very intregued about your statement about those with "O" blood type. I am an O+ blood type and and suffered greatly from mercury: My Story http://herballure.com/mmsIn all the research I've done, I've never considered this. Please share where I can find more info about this if you can. Thanks! I'm also thinking about putting a candida forum on this system. It's a very important subject! Enjoy your time here!

hi Sandi! I'm happy to see a familiar face here. When I spoke with Laura Clement on the phone the other day to place an order, I told her I was going to tell some of the candida folks about this wonderful Forum.
Thanks Russ and Laura for all of the wonderful information you're sharing here. I'm only at the beginning of my amalgam removal journey and I wish I could blink my eyes and wiggle my nose like a genie and have it over and done with!
For what it's worth, my blood type is A+. And I like the idea of a candida forum here -- mercury problems and candida seem to hand-in-hand. So many of the other candida information boards and centers refuse to address the mercury connection and it seems an imcomplete approach, in my opinion.

Thanks Russ and SS, I sure will submit my story, I am going on a holiday next week, but will do it when I come back....a much deserved holiday, I might add, first one in years.
And a candida forum would be great Russ, my ND and my holistic dentist both agree that if you have candida and amalgams or vaccines, you have metal toxicity.
And I don't have links on the assocation between the blood proteins and the blood type, but I will send you the links and info on the protein...I just thought there may be a connection...??? One major hurdle that we have to deal with is that the information and research is not so well organized because it is denied by the powers that be.
And SS I remember you were one of the few that weren't type O, I will see if I can find that thread and send it along, it was amazing. I think everyone is sensitive to mercury, it is just than some are better excretors than others.

Thanks for the info Sandi. I also look forward to your story.
I have created a Candida forum on this system so if you have any suggestions on how I can promote it or make it successfull in helping people, I'm always open to suggestions.
Have a great holiday.
