Hi I am new here, and thrilled to have found this forum. I have had candida all my life and recently had my amalgams removed. I am getting overwhelmed with all the stuff but I am determined to help others with this affliction. I had my posts shut down on one yeast forum because they didn't want to talk about mercury, so I moved to another and made it my mission to help them understand that if they have metal fillings and candida, they very likely have metal toxicity. And it is working, but I also make it very clear, that is has to be done under the guidance of an experienced practitioner.
I haven't started formal chelation yet and after reading some info here, I am not going to start for awhile. I realize now that my recent episodes of ups and downs are all part of my body doing it's own detox.
I was wondering if some blood types are predisposed to more severe metal toxicity. Recently we did a poll on the Yeast connection forum and most everyone was blood type O. I know there is a certain type of protein in our blood that make us less able to excrete metals but I also wonder if it has anything to do with blood types.
Thanks so much to you all for participating in this forum...it may mean alot to some folks that are sick, unable to work and can't afford to pay for treatment.
