-JESUS IS THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD~ Follow Him and you will not walk in darkness.

'We Are' = by Kari Jobe.

Every secret, every shame. Every fear,
every pain. Live inside the dark.
But that's not who we are.
We are children of the day.
So wake up, sleeper, lift your head.
We were meant for more than this.

Fight the shadows, conquer death.
Make the most of the time we have left.
We are the light of the world. We are the city on a hill. We are the light of the world.
We gotta, we gotta, we gotta let the light shine.

We are the light of the world, We are the city on a hill. We are the light of the world.
We gotta, we gotta, we gotta let the light shine, let the light shine, let the light shine.

We are called to spread the news.
To tell the world the simple truth,
Jesus came to save, there's freedom in His name.
So let His love break through.

We are the light of the world, We are the city on a hill.
We are the light of the world.
We gotta, we gotta, we gotta let the light shine.

We are the light of the world. We are the city on a hill.

We are the light of the world.
We gotta, we gotta, we gotta let the light shine.
We are the light. We are the light. We are the light,
So let your light shine brighter.

We are the light, We are the light.
We are the light Jesus, you are the light.
You are the light.
You are the light.
We will lift you high and shine, shine, shine.
We are the light of the world.
We are the city on a hill.
We are the light of the world.

We gotta, we gotta, we gotta let the light shine.
We are the light of the world.
We are the city on a hill.
We are the light of the world, We gotta, we gotta,
we gotta let the light shine.
We gotta shine, we gotta shine (let the light shine).
-----
Jesus spoke saying, "I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life."-(JOHN 8:12)

This old world is passing away, but Jesus is forever. "You must be born again to see the kingdom of God." (John 3:3)

"All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." All of us need to be made new again, in the Spirit.~~
The first birth was for earthly life; the second one is for eternal life. The first time we received a physical heart; the second time we receive a spiritual heart. The first birth enabled us to have life on earth. The second birth enables us to have life eternal.
In order for us to 'shine for Jesus' and spread His Word, the Light, we must be born again. (John 3:3)~~
