--JESUS, THE BRIDGE SPANNING THE GREAT DIVIDE ~~

--“And that He might reconcile both unto God in one body by the Cross, having slain the enmity thereby.”

-Up in heaven is the holy God.
-Down below is the sinful man.
-And sin is the dividing rod that separates.

--Without God, man has an empty void in his life he knows he must fill, so man is constantly trying to reach God. But he keeps rebounding off the sin barrier.

Then God, moved in mercy by the pitiful plight of sinful man, said, “I will do something.”

God sent His Son, the Lord Jesus, to make a way. And upon the rough-hewn timbers of a Cross, Jesus gave His life so you and I could live forever and live forgiven. Jesus built a bridge between man and God. cross It’s a bridge man could never build. And a bridge that man can never take away.

God made a way that we couldn’t make . . . for me . . . and for you.

-Since Jesus built a bridge of love for you to be reconciled to God, it’s your turn to build a bridge of love to someone who is lost and searching.

--We all need to be 'saved' from the deadly sin that we automatically inherited when we were born into this world. That is referred to as the 'new-birth', or 'being born again, by the Spirit of God.'

The Bible speaks of only ONE way to be prepared to meet God, and that is to be SAVED.
"...we must be saved." (Acts 4:12)

That word may seem out of place in many churches, but it is found dozens of times in the Bible.
--SAVED!! From what??

"Much more then, being now justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him." (Romans 5:9)~
-SAVED!! By Whom?
"For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved." --(John 3:17)
The Lord Jesus Christ, God in the flesh, who died for our sins and rose again, is the only One who can save from sin. (see Acts 16:31/ 1 Corinthians 15:1-3/ Romans 5:8/ Isaiah 43:11)

--SAVED!! HOW?
"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God, not of works so that no man may boast." -(Ephesians 2:8-9)

"For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." (Romans 10:13)

Man seeks to reach God through religion, good works, sincerity, New Age, Karma, Buddha, and many other (so called) 'ways to find peace'. The Bible tells us that 'Jesus is the Prince of Peace.' So therefore, He is the only way to have peace. He also said, "I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me." (John 14:6)
--SAVED!!! WHEN?

"...behold, now is the day of salvation."
-- (2 Corinthians 6:2)

One is saved by confessing to God that he has sinned and receiving Jesus Christ into his heart as Lord and Savior. Jesus said, "No one knows the day or hour the Son of Man will come." We must be ready at all times!

--You Might Pray something like this, or whatever the Lord puts on your heart....
'Lord, I confess that I am a sinner. I need You to save my lost soul. I believe that Jesus Christ died for my sins. Thank You, Jesus for paying my sin-debt by dying on the Cross. Help me to live for You. Come into my heart and life, in Christ Jesus Name.' amen~~

Please find a Bible believing Church and go, so you can grow by faith in His Word. Read your Bible, praying firstly to ask Jesus to open your spiritual eyes. He never turns away a sincere seeker. Jesus loves you! Come, come to the Father today. 'The angels in Heaven rejoice over one sinner who repents.' horray Praise the Lord!
