NASA Infers Van Allen Radiation Belts Still Unpassable

An amazing statement and admission from NASA:

"We must solve these challenges before we send people through this region of space."

What challenges are he speaking of?

Humans passing through the toxic radiation of the Van Allen radiation belts.

How did Apollo astronauts get through this radiation belt and spend days in open solar radiation winds with little more than 1/4 inch of aluminum for shielding and thin sheets of Mylar while walking on the moon?

Think about it.
