--Your Heavenly Calling and Privilege~~

“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
---Matthew 28:19-20

--The great Christian writer and pastor Andrew Murray used to say that there were two kinds of Christians: soul-winners and backsliders. Now, I know we don’t all carry out the Great Commission in the same way – we’re gifted differently. But as believers, it’s our job to find the way God has planned for us to share Christ and get to it!

Now, I know some people who say, “God didn’t call me to win souls. He called me to make disciples.” And it’s true that the main command of the Great Commission is to “make disciples.” However, the first step in making disciples is sharing Christ. You can’t have spiritual growth if there’s no presence of the Holy Spirit!

So what’s my response to the Christian who doesn’t believe he or she is called to evangelism? I would invite them to carefully and seriously seek the Lord’s will through the Scriptures. When you look into the Word of God, you’ll never once find a person who God says is exempt from inviting others to faith.

Sharing the good news of Jesus is a privilege each of us is given in order to help rescue men and women from a Christ-less eternity. Don’t neglect so great a privilege. Fulfill your heavenly calling by sharing Christ however God has gifted you!

-FULFILL YOUR HEAVENLY CALLING TO SHARE CHRIST BY INVITING OTHERS TO EXPERIENCE LIFE WITH HIM.

[Technology has come so far, that 'anybody' who is truly born again, can write a letter, send an email, telephone calling, post on a website. You can share your faith in person, maybe while out shopping, or taking a walk. Just do it! Time is growing short.
Jesus tells us, "And this gospel of the Kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come." (Matthew 24:14)]
