I just started on the Cutler protocol (DMSA + ALA) two days ago and so far it seems to be easier for me to tolerate than the DMPS infusions. I'm very tired, however. Of course I've been dealing with chronic fatigue for a long time now.
I'm almost certain now that I really am suffering from mercury poisoning. Although the side effects of the DMPS infusions were severe they showed me (and Cutler agrees) that I have a toxic level of mercury in my body.

How many DMPS IVs did you get and how long ago? Was your only reaction negative? Have you done anything else for mercury?

I took 17 infusions from last September until last month. I also take Algin, vitamin C, vitamin E with selenium, omega 3 and 6 fatty acids, and a multi vitamin/mineral supplement every day. How many DMPS IVs did you get and how long ago? Was your only reaction negative? Have you done anything else for mercury?

You would think with 17 infusion it would have done something for you? Was all just negative or was there a positive side, as well?

Yes, I hope that the infusions did something good for me but the immediate effect was an intensification of all of my symptoms along with suicidal thoughts. That's why I'm searching for another method to detoxify. You would think with 17 infusion it would have done something for you? Was all just negative or was there a positive side, as well?
