One noteworthy comment is the fact the article mentions that hispanic children dont seem to suffer from autism as much; IMO I can see how that would be the case. I would think that many hispanics choose not to go to the doctor as much as non hispanics (in case you missed the news there are a lot of illegal immigrants living in the US and I would think many of them try to stay below the radar and also many of them probably dont make as much as the non hispanic population so dont jump at every chance to have a 'well baby visit'. ie I would think that the average middle income american would have the most cases of autism. ie more conformers and the means to pay for the frequent injections of mercury. One thing I dont understand is why do boys appear to have it more then girls? Does it have something to do with their hormones and how mercury affects boys differently then girls? What do you think? One other comment ... Even when a child isnt diagnoised with autism; think about how many children appear to have something 'wrong' with them devlopmentally. ie a little slow, or act in strange ways. I have 2 nephews that have been 'slow' developementally. What do you make of the article.

Another thing that I wonder about is: Why do way more boys than girls have autism, yet way more women are autoimmune than men? You'd think that mercury would harm both men and boys most or women and girls, but not boys and women! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

Boyd Haley has some solid information about why this.
He says that autism is 4 times more common in boys than girls. He explains this as the "testosterone/estrogen" effect.
Other facts Haley states about mercury and autism:
Autistic childrens teeth contain over 3-times more mercury than normal children.
"Bottom line is, Thimerosal is more neurotoxic than regular mercury, which shouldn't suprise anybody; organic mercury is known to be more toxic than elemental mercury."
"...in vaccines, the most toxic thing in there is the Thimerosal. It's what causes the problem. ...I think it causes Gulf War Syndrome."
