cross-GOOD NEWS / INTERNET EVANGELISM
-By: Kristen Driscoll

Tens of thousands of people go online daily searching for answers to life's problems. In the past year, BGEA has launched a new Internet outreach called Search for Jesus, which uses the latest technology to direct people to answers based on the words used in their online search. Scriptural presentations at <www.PeaceWithGod.net> explain the Gospel, and visitors are invited to make a commitment to Christ. When possible, BGEA helps those who accept Jesus to grow in their relationship with Christ. To date, some 1.6 million people have visited the site--including many from countries closed to the Gospel--and more than 232,000 have committed thier lives to Jesus.

-'I COULDN'T OUTRUN THE HURT~
--says a woman in remote Alaska.

You can't get much more remote than Alaska. In the winter, shelter, warmth and food can't be taken for granted. Sometimes the only way to travel or get supplies is by airplane or boat.

Such isolation was just what an Idaho woman was looking for in 1996 when she moved north, taking only her broken heart, her 1988 Toyota truck and whatever possessions she could stuff inside.

Norene Wickstrom grew up going to Sunday school with her mom and her neighbors, and though her family wasn't involved at church, the only girl and baby of the family learned that God loved her and she was never alone. As she grew older, her parents became less and less involved in her life. Her middle brother was killed at age 10, and the brother just three years older than her abused her and once even tried to smother her. Still, she held on to her faith in Jesus--until she reached high school.
Then she met a boy.

"I thought he was the love of my life!" Norene says. "I told my girlfriend, 'I love him. I'm going to marry him and have his babies.'" Four years later, Norene did marry him and had two of the most beautiful daughters she could have asked for.

Unfortunately, her husband was not a God-fearing man. He was a drinker and often cheated on her. Infact, their oldest daughter moved out of their home the day she turned 18, just to get away from him.

In May 1995, their youngest daughter had a baby at age 15. One week later, Norene reached her breaking point, and she and her daughter and grandbaby moved to an apartment. A month later, she divorced her husband. They sold their house and Norene bought another one. Ten days later, her father died.

Norene felt as if 1995 had almost killed her, so when a friend asked for help driving to Anchorage for a job, she was ready for something new.

Two weeks in Alaska was all it took to convince her that this was a place where she could hide from her shattered heart. She flew back to Idaho, managed to sell her house in just two weeks and loaded her truck for a long, solo drive north.

But distance could't fix her problems. "I fell in love with the land up here, and I thought it was so far away from the pain," say says. "I didn't realize the pain was still with me. I couldn't outrun the hurt and I drifted farther away from Christ."

Norene bought some land and a cabin 14 miles outside of Soldotna, a town of about 4,000. The scenery was beautiful, especially when the occasional bear or moose wandered by. But life was harder in Alaska. She had no running water--just an outhouse. To heat her cabin, Noreen dug firewood out of the snow, brought it inside and waited for it to dry out enough to be burned. On top of all that, her sadness returned.

"No matter what I did or didn't do, things kept getting worse," she says. Finally, after 16 years in Alaska, Norene knew she could not keep going without Jesus. On Feb. 1, during an online search for Christian resources, she came across <www.PeaceWithGod.net>, a part of BGEA's Search for Jesus online outreach. The site features Scripture-based, evangelistic video presentations and explains how to begin a relationship with Christ.

"God pulled me back," Norene says. "I was sitting here crying my heart out, and it was breaking again because I missed my mom, my daughters and my four grandchildren. I could hear a voice say, 'It is time for you to go home!'"

Norene prayed: "God, please forgive me of all my sins, and please come into my heart and show me the way." Since then, her life has changed in ways that only Jesus could accomplish.

The daily routine of living in a cabin hasn't gotten easier, but Norene's heart is bursting with love, joy and happiness. She is waiting for God to reveal His plan for her--one that she believes will include a move back to her family in Idaho and perhaps a call to missions.

"My life has never been this calm," she says. "I am so happy! 'My cup runneth over,' and I have turned my whole life over to Him. I feel so honored that God let me be His child." ~

-LOVE WORTH FINDING
-Pastor Adrian Rogers / Bellevue Baptist Church/ Memphis, TN.

--- bible
-Changed Lives Testimonies
The messages of Adrian Rogers and the daily devotionals have been more strength to me than I know how to put into words. Like he explains about the Greek or Hebrew language sometimes; that there isn't a word in the English language that really has the same meaning. There isn't a strong enough word to express the gratitude and love I experience every time I listen to a message or read a daily devotional from LWF. I know you are laying up more treasure daily in heaven, and I can just see the pleasure in Jesus' face when He is able to give Adrian another treasure throughout each day for the work He is doing through the ministry Adrian was called home from years ago now. You talk about royalties; I know God is pleased with your ministry and is using you daily. I literally can't count how many times the daily devotional has been directly for what I was going through, and God spoke through you to me.

Keep letting God lead and guide you.
In His service with you in prayer daily.

I grew up in a Christian Church and family. I have spinal cord injury due to the fact I was a victim of a drive-by shooting and have been paraplegic for seven years now. I just wanted to let LWF know that I watch every Sunday, and Adrian Rogers helped me to want to get baptized, and I was baptized on Father's Day in 2010. Adrian Rogers just helped me to make it official by getting baptized in my church. And I wanted to say thank you for that. I thank God that I have learned a lot spiritually and very thankful to LWF Ministries. God bless. Please pray for me and my family to grow more and learn more everyday about our Savior Jesus Christ. Thank you.

First I would like to thank God for your ministry. I'm forever grateful to you all for the work you do for the Kingdom of God. It is truly a pleasure and a blessing. The times when I would have listened to worldly music, you were there. It brings tears to my eyes for all the times I turned away. Thank you, Lord, for this ministry. I choose Jesus today. My story is long, but you helped me get back to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. God bless you all and keep you. Forever grateful,

I just read your page "You Can Be Sure" on your web site [at the tab “Discover Jesus.”] cross I have been sitting here with such a fear in my heart that I wasn't saved, and I prayed the prayer that Dr. Rogers prayed. I prayed to accept Christ as my Savior in October 1990, but I just wanted to recommit my life to Jesus and have the assurance that I am saved. Please pray for me that I will live the way that the Lord wants me to live, because that is the greatest desire of my heart. Thank you and God bless you.

I hear different ministers, and all give a powerful message. There's nothing better then hearing word of God. I listen and receive a lot from them. But Pastor Rogers is the one that's causing my relationship to grow even stronger in the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son who came in the form of man to save the world from its sins. I am listening and learning more.

-The Process of Evangelism bible
-By: Dr. Charles Stanley

Most believers desire to share their faith with others. But one common obstacle to personal evangelism is the time it takes for God to move an unbeliever to saving faith. I really struggled with this when I was younger. I would become frustrated if people didn't automatically receive Christ the first time they heard the gospel.

Through the years, I have grown to understand that God will "cause the growth" (1 Cor. 3:7). My part is to faithfully sow His Word and look for those who are ripe for harvest. Sharing the good news with complete strangers is a wonderful experience. But conversion on the spot is often the exception, not the rule. And even in these rare cases, someone else probably planted the seed.

-Give It Time
Evangelism is a process. You may be doing a better job sharing your faith than you realize. God works through your personality and faithfulness to draw others into His kingdom. This may come in the form of helping your neighbor with yard work or taking food to friends after their child's birth.

Seeing evangelism as a process relieves some of the pressure. Don't feel guilty if you do not witness verbally to everyone. But at the same time, you're responsible for building meaningful bridges to the lost. When opportunities arise, be willing to share with others how Christ has worked in your life and what He's willing to do in theirs.

It's not unusual to have some bad experiences with personal evangelism. Unbelievers sometimes feel offended or threatened. Others may accuse you of excessive piety. Or you may lead someone in a prayer for salvation and see no change in that person's life.

Jesus said, "Whenever a woman is in labor she has pain, because her hour has come; but when she gives birth to the child, she no longer remembers the anguish because of the joy that a child has been born into the world" (John 16:21). In other words, the reward of having a new baby is worth the pain. The same is true of evangelism. Like physical birth, spiritual birth is not without its risks. Participating in a person's conversion is no easy undertaking. Some pain and disappointment might be involved. But the struggles and frustration are quickly forgotten when we see those we love born into God's family. There is a joy that can't be explained.

So don't give up on evangelism. The Father is the one responsible to change lives. But He gives us the privilege of participating in the process.

-A Case Study
Here's an example that illustrates how evangelism can work. A believer named Brian took a job at a large corporation. From the beginning, his goal was to reach his work associates for Christ. Brian wanted to move slowly and wisely, so he began praying for each of them by name. He asked God to give him an opportunity to know every person and a chance to share the gospel.

One afternoon, Phil—who worked next to Brian—mentioned the desire to get to know his neighbors better without becoming a nuisance. Brian explained that the Bible talked about irritating those who live near us if we spend too much time with them. His coworker was amazed. Brian went on to show him Proverbs 25:17 and other relevant passages. At that point, Phil was open to receiving some recorded sermons on the family.

Phil listened to the messages and was hungry for more. This was the first time he had ever seen any connection between the Bible and real life. Over a period of six months, Phil's appetite for spiritual things increased. His family joined Brian's for several non-threatening church-sponsored events. He began to realize that "becoming a Christian" meant having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Just six months after that conversation about neighbors, Phil trusted Christ as his Savior.

-Getting Started
If you, too, would like the thrilling experience of seeing others become part of God's family, begin by making a list of unbelieving family and friends. As you pray for them, God will give you a heartfelt burden for their salvation. This concern will likely make you more motivated to live a godly life and alert to opportunities for sharing the gospel.

Will you always get instant results? No. A person's conversion can take six minutes, six months, six years, or six decades. We never know how long the process will take, but it's worth the wait.
----------
-Do you know God? Before you can walk on God's pathway to success, you must first enter into a relationship with Him. The only way to do this is through His Son Jesus Christ. Your sin has created a separation between you and God, but Jesus conquered sin when He died on the cross, closing the gap between humankind and the Father. Now everyone who believes in Jesus receives forgiveness and is reconciled to God (Rom. 5:8-10).

There's no better time than today to accept Christ as your Savior. You can use the following prayer or your own words:

'Lord Jesus, I believe You are truly the Son of God. I confess that I have sinned against You in thought, word, and deed. Please forgive all my wrongdoing and let me live in relationship with You from now on. I receive You as my personal Savior, accepting the work You accomplished once and for all on the cross. Thank you for saving me. Help me to live a life that is pleasing to You. Amen prayer

-ANSWERS IN GENESIS
-The Gospel of Jesus Christ
-- bible --
Answers in Genesis seeks to give glory and honor to God as Creator, and to affirm the truth of the biblical record of the real origin and history of the world and mankind.

Part of this real history is the bad news that the rebellion of the first man, Adam, against God’s command brought death, suffering, and separation from God into this world. We see the results all around us. All of Adam’s descendants are sinful from conception (Psalm 51:5) and have themselves entered into this rebellion (sin). They, therefore, cannot live with a holy God but are condemned to separation from God. The Bible says that “all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God” ( Romans 3:23) and that all are therefore subject to “everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power” (2 Thessalonians 1:9).

But the good news is that God has done something about it. “For God so loved the world, that He gave his only-begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life” (John 3:16).

Jesus Christ the Creator, though totally sinless, suffered, on behalf of mankind, the penalty of mankind’s sin, which is death and separation from God. He did this to satisfy the righteous demands of the holiness and justice of God, His Father. Jesus was the perfect sacrifice; He died on a cross, but on the third day, He rose again, conquering death, so that all who truly believe in Him, repent of their sin, and trust in Him (rather than their own merit) are able to come back to God and live for eternity with their Creator.

Therefore: “He who believes on Him is not condemned, but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only-begotten Son of God” (John 3:18).

What a wonderful Savior—and what a wonderful salvation in Christ our Creator!

If you want to know more of what the Bible says about how you can receive eternal life, please write or call the Answers in Genesis office nearest you.

-NEW LIFE IN CHRIST
fyiThe decision to accept Christ is the most important decision you will ever make and therefore, not a decision to be made half-heartedly.
--Jack Graham

-New Life in Christ
When you give your life to Christ, things change—you change. Some are warm to the idea of such a shift, while some are apprehensive because they don't know quite what to expect. New Christians find, however, that new life in Christ results in changes they wanted to make all along, but were unable to do so without God's help. They also find a sense of peace unlike any other, and a renewed sense of purpose for living. And that's just the short list.

The decision to accept Christ is the most important decision you will ever make and, therefore, not a decision to be made half-heartedly.

God has given us an important manual for life—the Bible. He is the Author of this book and has given significant, truthful instructions for how we can have joy, hope, and peace in life. He has the answers to the problems and emptiness you may face.

You are here for a purpose, and not by accident. We were separated from God because of sin in the beginning of the world. But, God sent His Son, Jesus Christ, who lived on Earth, suffered punishment, and died on a cross to pay for your sins. Three days later, He rose from the dead.

Jesus loves you, and desires to have a personal relationship with you. But, sin separates us from Him.

For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.
—Romans 3:23
bible

The most important decision in your life will be whether or not you accept Him as your personal Lord and Savior. You must choose forgiveness and a relationship with God. This begins with repentance and turning away from your sins and old life to a new life in Christ.

The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance. . .
—2 Peter 3:9

You may think that you need to fix things or make things right in your life before you come to Christ. And many people feel that way, but it’s not true!

God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. . .
—Romans 5:8

You will be saved by the grace of God, not because you try to make things right in your life. He wants you to accept this salvation only because he loves you! It is not something to be earned…it is a free gift.

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast. . .
—Ephesians 2:8-9

For God so loved the world that He gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. . .
—John 3:16

Sin causes death, but because God sent His Son to die for your sins, you can have the free gift eternal life.

For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Jesus Christ our Lord. . .
—Romans 6:23
All you have to do is to accept Him and confess Him as your personal Lord and Savior.

If you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.
—Romans 10:9-10

If you are ready to accept the gift of eternal life through Jesus, and you truly desire to ask Him into your heart to be your personal Lord and Savior, then pray this prayer:

"Jesus, I know that I am a sinner. I believe that You died for my sins and rose from the grave so that I might have eternal life in Heaven with You. I willingly repent of my sins and ask you to come into my heart and life. Take control of my words, thoughts, and actions. I place all of my trust in You for my salvation. I accept You as my Lord and Savior, and this free gift of eternal life. Amen."

If you have just prayed this prayer and accepted Christ, we would like to know so that we can celebrate with you! If you have questions or concerns, please contact us. We want to encourage you in your walk with the Lord!

-How to be saved?
Anyone can be saved. The question is — how?

-Ask yourself these questions:
1.Do you need to be saved?
2.Do you want to be saved?
3.How can you be saved?

1.)Do you need to be saved? cross
The Bible sets the standard for salvation pretty high. Have you ever taken a test where the pass mark is 100%? That is the pass mark in terms of holiness for the examination of life. God has set His standard of morality for us in the Ten Commandments. Let’s look at a few of the Ten Commandments to see if you measure up.

The 9th Commandment says that you must not tell lies. How many lies do you think you have told in your life? If you have told just one lie, that makes you a liar, just as if you committed one murder, you would be a murderer. The Bible says that all liars will have their part in the Lake of Fire.

The 8th Commandment says that you must not steal. If you have ever taken something, however small, that does not belong to you, then you are a thief. The Bible says that no thief will enter the Kingdom of Heaven.

The 7th Commandment says that you must not commit adultery. Jesus said that whoever looks on someone with lust has already committed adultery in their hearts. The Bible says that no adulterer will enter the Kingdom of Heaven.

The 3rd Commandment says that you must not take the LORD’s name in vain. If you have ever used the words “God”, “Jesus” or “Christ” as if it were a filthy cuss word, then you are a blasphemer. The Bible says that God will not leave unpunished those who blaspheme His name.

These are just four of the Ten Commandments. Need we go on? The chances are that you are a lying, thieving, blaspheming adulterer-at-heart, and you have to face God on Judgment Day. If God judges you by the Ten Commandments, will you be innocent or guilty? You will be guilty. So — will you deserve heaven or hell? You know that you will deserve hell. And that is why you need to be saved, because we care about you and do not want you to go to hell.

2.) Do you want to be saved?
There is no reason for you to go to hell, even though you deserve hell. But it is only when you are convinced that you need a Savior that you will want a Savior. The issue is that you have broken God’s laws — the Ten Commandments. Breaking God’s laws is called sin. The Bible says that you and I are sinners, because we have disobeyed God. Some people think that God will weigh up all the good things in their lives against the bad things and come to a decision on whether or not they are good enough to enter heaven. This is not true, and you must not believe it. The letter of James tells us that if you have broken the Law (the Commandments) in just one area, then you are guilty of all of it. But God has done something wonderful so that, even though you deserve to go to hell, you don’t have to go there. Do you want to know more about how to be saved? If so, then read on. If not, then do not waste your time on this article any longer.

3.) How can you be saved?
First, you must recognize the truth of what I have written above — that you are a sinner, who deserves hell and who needs and wants a Savior.

Second, repent of your sin. This means that you must turn completely away from your sin. It is more than just saying sorry; it is a complete change of direction as you endeavor, by God’s power, to go His way, instead of the way of sin.

Third, you must trust in Jesus completely. You see, He took the punishment for your sins on the cross. He is the only person who never sinned — yet God the Father punished His Son in your place and in my place, if we will accept Him. So put your complete trust in Jesus. Pray to Him (this is like talking to Him) and ask Him to forgive you. He always and immediately forgives those who genuinely call on Him in this way.

What next?There is no way for us to tell whether or not you have been saved as a result of reading this article. Only you (and God) know the actual contents of your heart. So find some fellowship. Get plugged into a good church, where you will be taught the truth of Scripture. Get a Bible, and read a portion of it every day, so that God can teach you from His word. If you would like to let us know that you have been saved, then we would be thrilled, and would pray for you.

Recognizing that the Bible is the very Word of the Living God to man, and understanding the priority of knowing and obeying its truths, Grace to You is committed to teaching Scripture with diligence and authority.

Thus, the central ministry of Grace to You is the continuous imparting of biblical truth to the people of God that they may become equipped to do the work of the ministry.

This booklet presents our convictions regarding the theological truths of the Bible, built on years of study and teaching. They are the primary doctrines of the Christian faith, and they reflect the heart of the teaching of Grace to You.

-The Holy Scriptures
We teach that the Bible is God's written revelation to man, and thus the sixty six books of the Bible given to us by the Holy Spirit constitute the plenary (inspired equally in all parts) Word of God (1Corinthians 2:7 14; 2 Peter 1:20 21).

We teach that the Word of God is an objective, propositional revelation (1 Thessalonians 2:13; 1 Corinthians 2:13), verbally inspired in every word (2 Timothy 3:16), absolutely inerrant in the original documents, infallible, and God breathed. We teach the literal, grammatical historical interpretation of Scripture which affirms the belief that the opening chapters of Genesis present creation in six literal days (Genesis 1:31; Exodus 31:17).

We teach that the Bible constitutes the only infallible rule of faith and practice (Matthew 5:18; 24:35; John 10:35; 16:12 13; 17:17; 1 Corinthians 2:13; 2 Timothy 3:15 17; Hebrews 4:12; 2 Peter 1:20 21).

We teach that God spoke in His written Word by a process of dual authorship. The Holy Spirit so superintended the human authors that, through their individual personalities and different styles of writing, they composed and recorded God's Word to man (2 Peter 1:20 21) without error in the whole or in the part (Matthew 5:18; 2 Timothy 3:16). We teach that, whereas there may be several applications of any given passage of Scripture, there is but one true interpretation. The meaning of Scripture is to be found as one diligently applies the literal grammatical historical method of interpretation under the enlightenment of the Holy Spirit (John 7:17; 16:12 15; 1 Corinthians 2:7 15; 1 John 2:20). It is the responsibility of believers to ascertain carefully the true intent and meaning of Scripture, recognizing that proper application is binding on all generations. Yet the truth of Scripture stands in judgment of men; never do men stand in judgment of it.

-God
We teach that there is but one living and true God (Deuteronomy 6:4; Isaiah 45:5 7; 1 Corinthians 8:4), an infinite, all knowing Spirit (John 4:24), perfect in all His attributes, one in essence, eternally existing in three Persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14)—each equally deserving worship and obedience.

-God the Father
We teach that God the Father, the first Person of the Trinity, orders and disposes all things according to His own purpose and grace (Psalm 145:8 9; 1 Corinthians 8:6). He is the Creator of all things (Genesis 1:1 31; Ephesians 3:9). As the only absolute and omnipotent Ruler in the universe, He is sovereign in creation, providence, and redemption (Psalm 103:19; Romans 11:36). His fatherhood involves both His designation within the Trinity and His relationship with mankind. As Creator He is Father to all men (Ephesians 4:6), but He is spiritual Father only to believers (Romans 8:14; 2 Corinthians 6:18). He has decreed for His own glory all things that come to pass (Ephesians 1:11). He continually upholds, directs, and governs all creatures and events (1 Chronicles 29:11). In His sovereignty He is neither author nor approver of sin (Habakkuk 1:13; John 8:38 47), nor does He abridge the accountability of moral, intelligent creatures (1 Peter 1:17). He has graciously chosen from eternity past those whom He would have as His own (Ephesians 1:4 6); He saves from sin all who come to Him through Jesus Christ; He adopts as his own all those who come to Him; and He becomes, upon adoption, Father to His own (John 1:12; Romans 8:15; Galatians 4:5; Hebrews 12:5 9).

-God the Son
We teach that Jesus Christ, the second Person of the Trinity, possesses all the divine excellencies, and in these He is coequal, consubstantial, and coeternal with the Father (John 10:30; 14:9).

We teach that God the Father created all things according to His own will, through His Son, Jesus Christ, by whom all things continue in existence and in operation (John 1:3; Colossians 1:15 17; Hebrews 1:2).

We teach that in the incarnation (God becoming man) Christ surrendered only the prerogatives of deity but nothing of the divine essence, either in degree or kind.

In His incarnation, the eternally existing second Person of the Trinity accepted all the essential characteristics of humanity and so became the God Man (Philippians 2:5 8; Colossians 2:9). We teach that Jesus Christ represents humanity and deity in indivisible oneness (Micah 5:2; John 5:23; 14:9 10; Colossians 2:9).

We teach that our Lord Jesus Christ was virgin born (Isaiah 7:14; Matthew 1:23, 25; Luke 1:26 35); that He was God incarnate (John 1:1, 14); and that the purpose of the incarnation was to reveal God, redeem men, and rule over God's kingdom (Psalm 2:7 9; Isaiah 9:6; John 1:29; Philippians 2:9 11; Hebrews 7:25 26; 1 Peter 1:18 19).

We teach that, in the incarnation, the second person of the Trinity laid aside His right to the full prerogatives of coexistence with God, assumed the place of a Son, and took on an existence appropriate to a servant while never divesting Himself of His divine attributes (Philippians 2:5 8).

We teach that our Lord Jesus Christ accomplished our redemption through the shedding of His blood and sacrificial death on the cross and that His death was voluntary, vicarious, substitutionary, propitiatory, and redemptive (John 10:15; Romans 3:24 25; 5:8; 1 Peter 2:24).

We teach that our justification is made sure by His literal, physical resurrection from the dead and that He is now ascended to the right hand of the Father, where He now mediates as our Advocate and High Priest (Matthew 28:6; Luke 24:38 39; Acts 2:30 31; Romans 4:25; 8:34; Hebrews 7:25; 9:24; 1 John 2:1).

We teach that in the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the grave, God confirmed the deity of His Son and gave proof that God has accepted the atoning work of Christ on the cross. Jesus' bodily resurrection is also the guarantee of a future resurrection life for all believers (John 5:26 29; 14:19; Romans 1:4; 4:25; 6:5 10; 1 Corinthians 15:20, 23).

We teach that Jesus Christ will return to receive the church, which is His Body, unto Himself at the rapture, and returning with His church in glory, will establish His millennial kingdom on earth (Acts 1:9 11; 1 Thessalonians 4:13 18; Revelation 20).

We teach that the Lord Jesus Christ is the One through whom God will judge all mankind (John 5:22 23):

a.Believers (1 Corinthians 3:10 15; 2 Corinthians 5:10)
b.Living inhabitants of the earth at His glorious return (Matthew 25:31 46).
c.Unbelieving dead at the Great White Throne (Revelation 20:11 15).

As the Mediator between God and man (1 Timothy 2:5), the Head of His Body the church (Ephesians 1:22; 5:23; Colossians 1:18), and the coming universal King, who will reign on the throne of David (Isaiah 9:6; Luke 1:31 33), He is the final Judge of all who fail to place their trust in Him as Lord and Savior (Matthew 25:14 46; Acts 17:30 31). We teach that on the basis of the efficacy of the death of our Lord Jesus Christ, the believing sinner is freed from the punishment, the penalty, the power, and one day the very presence of sin; and that he is declared righteous, given eternal life, and adopted into the family of God (Romans 3:25; 5:8 9; 2 Corinthians 5:14 15; 1 Peter 2:24; 3:18).

-God the Holy Spirit
We teach that the Holy Spirit is a divine Person, eternal, underived, possessing all the attributes of personality and deity including intellect (1 Corinthians 2:10 13), emotions (Ephesians 4:30), will (1 Corinthians 12:11), eternality (Hebrews 9:14), omnipresence (Psalm 139:7 10), omniscience (Isaiah 40:13 14), omnipotence (Romans 15:13), and truthfulness (John 16:13). In all the divine attributes He is coequal and consubstantial with the Father and the Son (Matthew 28:19; Acts 5:3 4; 28:25 26; 1 Corinthians 12:4 6; 2 Corinthians 13:14; and Jeremiah 31:31 34 with Hebrews 10:15 17).

We teach that it is the work of the Holy Spirit to execute the divine will with relation to all mankind. We recognize His sovereign activity in creation (Genesis 1:2), the incarnation (Matthew 1:18), the written revelation (2 Peter 1:20 21), and the work of salvation (John 3:5 7).

We teach that the work of the Holy Spirit in this age began at Pentecost when He came from the Father as promised by Christ (John 14:16 17; 15:26) to initiate and complete the building of the Body of Christ, which is His church (1 Corinthians 12:13). The broad scope of His divine activity includes convicting the world of sin, of righteousness, and of judgment; glorifying the Lord Jesus Christ and transforming believers into the image of Christ (John 16:7 9; Acts 1:5; 2:4; Romans 8:29; 2 Corinthians 3:18; Ephesians 2:22).

We teach that the Holy Spirit is the supernatural and sovereign Agent in regeneration, baptizing all believers into the Body of Christ (1 Corinthians 12:13). The Holy Spirit also indwells, sanctifies, instructs, empowers them for service, and seals them unto the day of redemption (Romans 8:9; 2 Corinthians 3:6; Ephesians 1:13).

We teach that the Holy Spirit is the divine Teacher, who guided the apostles and prophets into all truth as they committed to writing God's revelation, the Bible. Every believer possesses the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit from the moment of salvation, and it is the duty of all those born of the Spirit to be filled with (controlled by) the Spirit (John 16:13; Romans 8:9; Ephesians 5:18; 2 Peter 1:19 21; 1 John 2:20, 27).

We teach that the Holy Spirit administers spiritual gifts to the church. The Holy Spirit glorifies neither Himself nor His gifts by ostentatious displays, but He does glorify Christ by implementing His work of redeeming the lost and building up believers in the most holy faith (John 16:13 14; Acts 1:8; 1 Corinthians 12:4 11; 2 Corinthians 3:18).

We teach, in this respect, that God the Holy Spirit is sovereign in the bestowing of all His gifts for the perfecting of the saints today and that speaking in tongues and the working of sign miracles in the beginning days of the church were for the purpose of pointing to and authenticating the apostles as revealers of divine truth, and were never intended to be characteristic of the lives of believers (1 Corinthians 12:4 11; 13:8 10; 2 Corinthians 12:12; Ephesians 4:7 12; Hebrews 2:14).

-Man
We teach that man was directly and immediately created by God in His image and likeness. Man was created free of sin with a rational nature, intelligence, volition, self determination, and moral responsibility to God (Genesis 2:7, 15 25; James 3:9).

We teach that God's intention in the creation of man was that man should glorify God, enjoy God's fellowship, live his life in the will of God, and by this accomplish God's purpose for man in the world (Isaiah 43:7; Colossians 1:16; Revelation 4:11).

We teach that in Adam's sin of disobedience to the revealed will and Word of God, man lost his innocence; incurred the penalty of spiritual and physical death; became subject to the wrath of God; and became inherently corrupt and utterly incapable of choosing or doing that which is acceptable to God apart from divine grace. With no recuperative powers to enable him to recover himself, man is hopelessly lost. Man's salvation is thereby wholly of God's grace through the redemptive work of our Lord Jesus Christ (Genesis 2:16 17; 3:1 19; John 3:36; Romans 3:23; 6:23; 1 Corinthians 2:14; Ephesians 2:1 3; 1 Timothy 2:13 14; 1 John 1:8).

We teach that because all men were in Adam, a nature corrupted by Adam's sin has been transmitted to all men of all ages, Jesus Christ being the only exception. All men are thus sinners by nature, by choice, and by divine declaration (Psalm 14:1 3; Jeremiah 17:9; Romans 3:9 18, 23; 5:10 12).

-Salvation
We teach that salvation is wholly of God by grace on the basis of the redemption of Jesus Christ, the merit of His shed blood, and not on the basis of human merit or works (John 1:12; Ephesians 1:7; 2:8 10; 1 Peter 1:18 19).

-Regeneration
We teach that regeneration is a supernatural work of the Holy Spirit by which the divine nature and divine life are given (John 3:3 7; Titus 3:5). It is instantaneous and is accomplished solely by the power of the Holy Spirit through the instrumentality of the Word of God (John 5:24), when the repentant sinner, as enabled by the Holy Spirit, responds in faith to the divine provision of salvation. Genuine regeneration is manifested by fruits worthy of repentance as demonstrated in righteous attitudes and conduct. Good works will be its proper evidence and fruit (1 Corinthians 6:19 20; Ephesians 2:10), and will be experienced to the extent that the believer submits to the control of the Holy Spirit in his life through faithful obedience to the Word of God (Ephesians 5:17 21; Philippians 2:12b; Colossians 3:16; 2 Peter 1:4 10). This obedience causes the believer to be increasingly conformed to the image of our Lord Jesus Christ (2 Corinthians 3:18). Such a conformity is climaxed in the believer's glorification at Christ's coming (Romans 8:17; 2 Peter 1:4; 1 John 3:2 3).

-Election
We teach that election is the act of God by which, before the foundation of the world, He chose in Christ those whom He graciously regenerates, saves, and sanctifies (Romans 8:28 30; Ephesians 1:4 11; 2 Thessalonians 2:13; 2 Timothy 2:10; 1 Peter 1:1 2).

We teach that sovereign election does not contradict or negate the responsibility of man to repent and trust Christ as Savior and Lord (Ezekiel 18:23, 32; 33:11; John 3:18 19, 36; 5:40; Romans 9:22 23; 2 Thessalonians 2:10 12; Revelation 22:17). Nevertheless, since sovereign grace includes the means of receiving the gift of salvation as well as the gift itself, sovereign election will result in what God determines. All whom the Father calls to Himself will come in faith and all who come in faith the Father will receive (John 6:37 40, 44; Acts 13:48; James 4:8).

We teach that the unmerited favor that God grants to totally depraved sinners is not related to any initiative of their own part nor to God's anticipation of what they might do by their own will, but is solely of His sovereign grace and mercy (Ephesians 1:4 7; Titus 3:4 7; 1 Peter 1:2).

We teach that election should not be looked upon as based merely on abstract sovereignty. God is truly sovereign but He exercises this sovereignty in harmony with His other attributes, especially His omniscience, justice, holiness, wisdom, grace, and love (Romans 9:11 16). This sovereignty will always exalt the will of God in a manner totally consistent with His character as revealed in the life of our Lord Jesus Christ (Matthew 11:25 28; 2 Timothy 1:9).

-Justification
We teach that justification before God is an act of God (Romans 8:33) by which He declares righteous those who, through faith in Christ, repent of their sins (Luke 13:3; Acts 2:38; 3:19; 11:18; Romans 2:4; 2 Corinthians 7:10; Isaiah 55:6 7) and confess Him as sovereign Lord (Romans 10:9 10; 1 Corinthians 12:3; 2 Corinthians 4:5; Philippians 2:11). This righteousness is apart from any virtue or work of man (Romans 3:20; 4:6) and involves the imputation of our sins to Christ (Colossians 2:14; 1 Peter 2:24) and the imputation of Christ's righteousness to us (1 Corinthians 1:30; 2 Corinthians 5:21). By this means God is enabled to "be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus" (Romans 3:26).

-Sanctification
We teach that every believer is sanctified (set apart) unto God by justification and is therefore declared to be holy and is therefore identified as a saint. This sanctification is positional and instantaneous and should not be confused with progressive sanctification. This sanctification has to do with the believer's standing, not his present walk or condition (Acts 20:32; 1 Corinthians 1:2, 30; 6:11; 2 Thessalonians 2:13; Hebrews 2:11; 3:1; 10:10, 14; 13:12; 1 Peter 1:2).

We teach that there is also by the work of the Holy Spirit a progressive sanctification by which the state of the believer is brought closer to the standing the believer positionally enjoys through justification. Through obedience to the Word of God and the empowering of the Holy Spirit, the believer is able to live a life of increasing holiness in conformity to the will of God, becoming more and more like our Lord Jesus Christ (John 17:17,19; Romans 6:1 22; 2 Corinthians 3:18; 1 Thessalonians 4:3 4; 5:23).

In this respect, we teach that every saved person is involved in a daily conflict—the new creation in Christ doing battle against the flesh—but adequate provision is made for victory through the power of the indwelling Holy Spirit. The struggle nevertheless stays with the believer all through this earthly life and is never completely ended. All claims to the eradication of sin in this life are unscriptural. Eradication of sin is not possible, but the Holy Spirit does provide for victory over sin (Galatians 5:16 25; Ephesians 4:22 24; Philippians 3:12; Colossians 3:9 10; 1 Peter 1:14 16; 1 John 3:5 9).

-Security
We teach that all the redeemed once saved are kept by God's power and are thus secure in Christ forever (John 5:24; 6:37 40; 10:27 30; Romans 5:9 10; 8:1, 31 39; 1 Corinthians 1:4 8; Ephesians 4:30; Hebrews 7:25; 13:5; 1 Peter 1:5; Jude 24).

We teach that it is the privilege of believers to rejoice in the assurance of their salvation through the testimony of God's Word, which, however, clearly forbids the use of Christian liberty as an occasion for sinful living and carnality (Romans 6:15 22; 13:13 14; Galatians 5:13, 25 26; Titus 2:11 14).

-Separation
We teach that separation from sin is clearly called for throughout the Old and New Testaments, and that the Scriptures clearly indicate that in the last days apostasy and worldliness shall increase (2 Corinthians 6:14-7:1; 2 Timothy 3:1 5).

We teach that out of deep gratitude for the undeserved grace of God granted to us and because our glorious God is so worthy of our total consecration, all the saved should live in such a manner as to demonstrate our adoring love to God and so as not to bring reproach upon our Lord and Savior. We also teach that separation from all religious apostasy and worldly and sinful practices is commanded of us by God (Romans 12:1 2, 1 Corinthians 5:9 13; 2 Corinthians 6:14-7:1; 1 John 2:15 17; 2 John 9 11).

We teach that believers should be separated unto our Lord Jesus Christ (2 Thessalonians 1:11 12; Hebrews 12:1 2) and affirm that the Christian life is a life of obedient righteousness that reflects the teaching of the Beatitudes (Matthew 5:2 12) and a continual pursuit of holiness (Romans 12:1 2; 2 Corinthians 7:1; Hebrews 12:14; Titus 2:11 14; 1 John 3:1 10).

-The Church
We teach that all who place their faith in Jesus Christ are immediately placed by the Holy Spirit into one united spiritual Body, the church (1 Corinthians 12:12 13), the bride of Christ (2 Corinthians 11:2; Ephesians 5:23 32; Revelation 19:7 8), of which Christ is the Head (Ephesians 1:22; 4:15; Colossians 1:18).

We teach that the formation of the church, the Body of Christ, began on the Day of Pentecost (Acts 2:1 21, 38 47) and will be completed at the coming of Christ for His own at the rapture (1 Corinthians 15:51 52; 1 Thessalonians 4:13 18).

We teach that the church is thus a unique spiritual organism designed by Christ, made up of all born again believers in this present age (Ephesians 2:11 3:6). The church is distinct from Israel (1 Corinthians 10:32), a mystery not revealed until this age (Ephesians 3:1 6; 5:32).

We teach that the establishment and continuity of local churches is clearly taught and defined in the New Testament Scriptures (Acts 14:23, 27; 20:17, 28; Galatians 1:2; Philippians 1:1; 1 Thessalonians 1:1; 2 Thessalonians 1:1) and that the members of the one spiritual Body are directed to associate themselves together in local assemblies (1 Corinthians 11:18 20; Hebrews 10:25).

We teach that the one supreme authority for the church is Christ (1 Corinthians 11:3; Ephesians 1:22; Colossians 1:18) and that church leadership, gifts, order, discipline, and worship are all appointed through His sovereignty as found in the Scriptures. The biblically designated officers serving under Christ and over the assembly are elders (also called bishops, pastors, and pastor teachers; Acts 20:28; Ephesians 4:11) and deacons, both of whom must meet biblical qualifications (1 Timothy 3:1 13; Titus 1:5 9; 1 Peter 5:1 5). We teach that these leaders lead or rule as servants of Christ (1 Timothy 5:17 22) and have His authority in directing the church. The congregation is to submit to their leadership (Hebrews 13:7, 17).

We teach the importance of discipleship (Matthew 28:19 20; 2 Timothy 2:2), mutual accountability of all believers to each other (Matthew 18:5 14), as well as the need for discipline of sinning members of the congregation in accord with the standards of Scripture (Matthew 18:15 22; Acts 5:1 11; 1 Corinthians 5:1 13; 2 Thessalonians 3:6 15; 1 Timothy 1:19 20; Titus 1:10 16).

We teach the autonomy of the local church, free from any external authority or control, with the right of self government and freedom from the interference of any hierarchy of individuals or organizations (Titus 1:5). We teach that it is scriptural for true churches to cooperate with each other for the presentation and propagation of the faith. Each local church, however, through its elders and their interpretation and application of Scripture, should be the sole judge of the measure and method of its cooperation. The elders should determine all other matters of membership, policy, discipline, benevolence, and government as well (Acts 15:19 31; 20:28; 1 Corinthians 5:4 7, 13; 1 Peter 5:1 4).

We teach that the purpose of the church is to glorify God (Ephesians 3:21) by building itself up in the faith (Ephesians 4:13 16), by instruction of the Word (2 Timothy 2:2, 15; 3:16 17), by fellowship (Acts 2:47; 1 John 1:3), by keeping the ordinances (Luke 22:19; Acts 2:38 42) and by advancing and communicating the gospel to the entire world (Matthew 28:19; Acts 1:8; 2:42).

We teach the calling of all saints to the work of service (1 Corinthians 15:58; Ephesians 4:12; Revelation 22:12).

We teach the need of the church to cooperate with God as He accomplishes His purpose in the world. To that end, He gives the church spiritual gifts. First, He gives men chosen for the purpose of equipping the saints for the work of the ministry (Ephesians 4:7 12), and He also gives unique and special spiritual abilities to each member of the Body of Christ (Romans 12:5 8; 1 Corinthians 12:4 31; 1 Peter 4:10 11).

We teach that there were two kinds of gifts given the early church: miraculous gifts of divine revelation and healing, given temporarily in the apostolic era for the purpose of confirming the authenticity of the apostles' message (Hebrews 2:3 4; 2 Corinthians 12:12); and ministering gifts, given to equip believers for edifying one another. With the New Testament revelation now complete, Scripture becomes the sole test of the authenticity of a man's message, and confirming gifts of a miraculous nature are no longer necessary to validate a man or his message (1 Corinthians 13:8 12). Miraculous gifts can even be counterfeited by Satan so as to deceive even believers (1 Corinthians 13:13-14:12; Revelation 13:13 14). The only gifts in operation today are those nonrevelatory equipping gifts given for edification (Romans 12:6 8). We teach that no one possesses the gift of healing today but that God does hear and answer the prayer of faith and will answer in accordance with His own perfect will for the sick, suffering, and afflicted (Luke 18:1 6; John 5:7 9; 2 Corinthians 12:6 10; James 5:13 16; 1 John 5:14 15).

We teach that two ordinances have been committed to the local church: baptism and the Lord's Supper (Acts 2:38 42). Christian baptism by immersion (Acts 8:36 39) is the solemn and beautiful testimony of a believer showing forth his faith in the crucified, buried, and risen Savior, and his union with Him in death to sin and resurrection to a new life (Romans 6:1 11). It is also a sign of fellowship and identification with the visible Body of Christ (Acts 2:41 42).

We teach that the Lord's Supper is the commemoration and proclamation of His death until He comes, and should be always preceded by solemn self examination (1 Corinthians 11:28 32). We also teach that whereas the elements of Communion are only representative of the flesh and blood of Christ, the Lord's Supper is nevertheless an actual communion with the risen Christ who is present in a unique way, fellowshipping with His people (1 Corinthians 10:16).

-Angels

-Holy Angels
We teach that angels are created beings and are therefore not to be worshiped. Although they are a higher order of creation than man, they are created to serve God and to worship Him (Luke 2:9 14; Hebrews 1:6 7, 14; 2:6 7; Revelation 5:11 14; 19:10; 22:9).

-Fallen Angels
We teach that Satan is a created angel and the author of sin. He incurred the judgment of God by rebelling against his Creator (Isaiah 14:12 17; Ezekiel 28:11 19), by taking numerous angels with him in his fall (Matthew 25:41; Revelation 12:1 14), and by introducing sin into the human race by his temptation of Eve (Genesis 3:1 15).

We teach that Satan is the open and declared enemy of God and man (Isaiah 14:13 14; Matthew 4:1 11; Revelation 12:9 10); the prince of this world, who has been defeated through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ (Romans 16:20); and that he shall be eternally punished in the lake of fire (Isaiah 14:12 17; Ezekiel 28:11 19; Matthew 25:41; Revelation 20:10).

-Last Things (Eschatology)
-Death
We teach that physical death involves no loss of our immaterial consciousness (Revelation 6:9 11), that the soul of the redeemed passes immediately into the presence of Christ (Luke 23:43; Philippians 1:23; 2 Corinthians 5:8), that there is a separation of soul and body (Philippians 1:21 24), and that, for the redeemed, such separation will continue until the rapture (1 Thessalonians 4:13 17), which initiates the first resurrection (Revelation 20:4 6), when our soul and body will be reunited to be glorified forever with our Lord (Philippians 3:21; 1 Corinthians 15:35 44, 50 54). Until that time, the souls of the redeemed in Christ remain in joyful fellowship with our Lord Jesus Christ (2 Corinthians 5:8).

We teach the bodily resurrection of all men, the saved to eternal life (John 6:39; Romans 8:10 11, 19 23; 2 Corinthians 4:14), and the unsaved to judgment and everlasting punishment (Daniel 12:2; John 5:29; Revelation 20:13 15).

We teach that the souls of the unsaved at death are kept under punishment until the second resurrection (Luke 16:19 26; Revelation 20:13 15), when the soul and the resurrection body will be united (John 5:28 29). They shall then appear at the Great White Throne judgment (Revelation 20:11 15) and shall be cast into hell, the lake of fire (Matthew 25:41 46), cut off from the life of God forever (Daniel 12:2; Matthew 25:41 46; 2 Thessalonians 1:7 9).

-The Rapture of the Church
We teach the personal, bodily return of our Lord Jesus Christ before the seven year tribulation (1 Thessalonians 4:16; Titus 2:13) to translate His church from this earth (John 14:1 3; 1 Corinthians 15:51 53; 1 Thessalonians 4:15-5:11) and, between this event and His glorious return with His saints, to reward believers according to their works (1 Corinthians 3:11 15; 2 Corinthians 5:10).

-The Tribulation Period
We teach that immediately following the removal of the church from the earth (John 14:1 3; 1 Thessalonians 4:13 18) the righteous judgments of God will be poured out upon an unbelieving world (Jeremiah 30:7; Daniel 9:27; 12:1; 2 Thessalonians 2:7 12; Revelation 16), and that these judgments will be climaxed by the return of Christ in glory to the earth (Matthew 24:27 31; 25:31 46; 2 Thessalonians 2:7 12). At that time the Old Testament and tribulation saints will be raised and the living will be judged (Daniel 12:2 3; Revelation 20:4 6). This period includes the seventieth week of Daniel's prophecy (Daniel 9:24 27; Matthew 24:15 31; 25:31 46).

-The Second Coming and the Millennial Reign
We teach that, after the tribulation period, Christ will come to earth to occupy the throne of David (Matthew 25:31; Luke 1:31 33; Acts 1:10 11; 2:29 30) and establish His messianic kingdom for a thousand years on the earth (Revelation 20:1 7). During this time the resurrected saints will reign with Him over Israel and all the nations of the earth (Ezekiel 37:21 28; Daniel 7:17 22; Revelation 19:11 16). This reign will be preceded by the overthrow of the Antichrist and the False Prophet, and by the removal of Satan from the world (Daniel 7:17 27; Revelation 20:1 7).

We teach that the kingdom itself will be the fulfillment of God's promise to Israel (Isaiah 65:17 25; Ezekiel 37:21 28; Zechariah 8:1 17) to restore them to the land which they forfeited through their disobedience (Deuteronomy 28:15 68). The result of their disobedience was that Israel was temporarily set aside (Matthew 21:43; Romans 11:1 26) but will again be awakened through repentance to enter into the land of blessing (Jeremiah 31:31 34; Ezekiel 36:22 32; Romans 11:25 29).

We teach that this time of our Lord's reign will be characterized by harmony, justice, peace, righteousness, and long life (Isaiah 11; 65:17 25; Ezekiel 36:33 38), and will be brought to an end with the release of Satan (Revelation 20:7).

-The Judgment of the Lost
We teach that following the release of Satan after the thousand year reign of Christ (Revelation 20:7), Satan will deceive the nations of the earth and gather them to battle against the saints and the beloved city, at which time Satan and his army will be devoured by fire from heaven (Revelation 20:9). Following this, Satan will be thrown into the lake of fire and brimstone (Matthew 25:41; Revelation 20:10) whereupon Christ, who is the Judge of all men (John 5:22), will resurrect and judge the great and small at the Great White Throne judgment.

We teach that this resurrection of the unsaved dead to judgment will be a physical resurrection, whereupon receiving their judgment (Romans 14:10 13), they will be committed to an eternal conscious punishment in the lake of fire (Matthew 25:41; Revelation 20:11 15).

-Eternity
We teach that after the closing of the millennium, the temporary release of Satan, and the judgment of unbelievers (2 Thessalonians 1:9; Revelation 20:7 15), the saved will enter the eternal state of glory with God, after which the elements of this earth are to be dissolved (2 Peter 3:10) and replaced with a new earth wherein only righteousness dwells (Ephesians 5:5; Revelation 20:15, 21 22). Following this, the heavenly city will come down out of heaven (Revelation 21:2) and will be the dwelling place of the saints, where they will enjoy forever fellowship with God and one another (John 17:3; Revelation 21-22). Our Lord Jesus Christ, having fulfilled His redemptive mission, will then deliver up the kingdom to God the Father (1 Corinthians 15:24 28) that in all spheres the triune God may reign forever and ever (1 Corinthians 15:28).

-GOOD NEWS/ INTERNET EVENGELISM ~~

-This past weekend my husband and I watched the Video, "Apostle Peter and the Last Supper". It is absolutely a fantastic film.
------ bible
Relive the time Peter spent with Jesus, from the Great Commission to the life-changing Last Supper and the garden of Gethsemane.

Set in Rome, AD 67. Two jailers at the ancient Mamertine Prison take custody of a famous criminal. He is Simon Peter of Galilee--apostle, disciple, and personal friend of Jesus, also called The Christ. Condemned to death, the elderly Peter (Robert Loggia) recounts his life as a simple fisherman who became one of the boldest figures in all of Christianity. As Peter prepares to depart this earthly life, he will make an unforgettable impression on his jailers through the saving power of the Gospel.
----
Approx. 88 minutes / Listen to the Scripture verses, as they are truly the Word of God. The movie, of course, is to inform us of what the Truth of the Gospel is, Jesus the Christ. Jesus is Lord!
He is alive right now. Call upon the Name of the Lord, and be saved. There truly is a real Heaven, and most assuredly a real Hell. You must choose which path you will take. Please, while you have time, choose LIFE. Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life. /

You can't change your past, but through Christ, you can change your destiny.

Heaven or Hell, there are only two choices, please come to the Savior Jesus for eternal life with Him and all other Christians who call upon the name of the Lord Jesus and are 'saved'. Saved from what? Hell!
There is no other way......

-A New Passion for Life

Christina was at a crisis in her life when she went to see The Passion of the Christ film. She went to buy a Bible, and then viewed an outreach website based on The Passion.

Early in January of 2004 I came to a crossroad in my life. I was living away from my family and going to college. I began to isolate myself from my friends. I remember lying in bed one night and coming to the realization that if I didn’t do something about my life now, I would lose it. I could see that I was stumbling blindly into more darkness. I decided to pack up my bags and move home to my family. I wanted to begin a search for some meaning in my life.

Choosing to move back home proved to be a smart decision. Living with my family, I stopped using drugs. But I still felt worthless. My mind and heart where filled with regret and guilt. About a month after I had moved home I heard about an upcoming movie about Jesus that was coming to theaters. It was a film surrounded by controversy and I quickly became very interested in seeing it. Something, somewhere was telling me to see this film.

Seeing The Passion of the Christ
It’s interesting to think back, because I actually knew before I went to see this film that it would change my life! Growing up in a non-religious home, Christmas was about Santa Claus and Easter was about the Easter Bunny. I knew very little about the Christian faith and Jesus. I knew that Jesus was crucified but I didn't know why.
In early March I went to see the movie The Passion of the Christ with my parents. I have never experienced emotions like the ones I felt as I watched that movie. I was clenching the arm rest of my chair, sobbing, and shaking. What I was seeing was true and I couldn’t deny the compassion that touched my heart. I saw Jesus for the first time on that screen.

I left the theater stunned, feeling numb, overwhelmed and anxious. My parents wanted to discuss the film but I couldn’t. I didn’t want to talk to anyone. That night, before I went to sleep, I talked to Jesus for the first time. I didnt know how to pray. I didnt know anything about God or religion but I knew when I spoke to Jesus that night I felt this overwhelming sense of peace. I cried and prayed and then fell into a deep, peaceful sleep.

Asking questions about Jesus
The next day I wanted to know everything about Jesus so I went to buy a Bible. I knew that I could find all the answers to my questions in that book. When I purchased my Bible, I asked the store clerk about church. I wanted to know where I should go and what groups I should join. She was kind enough to give me some great suggestions.
I started reading my Bible in the New Testament with the Gospel of Matthew. I powered through it in seven days! Initially, I had so many questions. As I read I found that the questions began answering themselves.

I was browsing TheLife.com, <www.thelife.com> a website designed around The Passion movie, and I read an article called “Are you looking for forgiveness?” I certainly was looking for forgiveness! I needed forgiveness from others and forgiveness from myself. Before I read this article, I didn’t believe that I could ever be forgiven. I prayed this prayer for the first time:

“God, thank you for what You have done for me. I believe You sent Jesus to die for my sins. I believe Jesus rose again to give me everlasting life. Please forgive me for the wrong things I have done. Please give me a new and clean heart. I invite you into my life. Teach me to do everything You want me to do and to follow You all the days of my life. I pray this believing in what Jesus did for me. Amen.”

Getting to know Jesus
After I prayed these words I felt a quiet, calming sense of peace. In my mind I saw an image of me and Jesus where I was six years old. My long brown hair was braided in two pigtails and Jesus was kneeling down with his arms wrapped tightly around me. He was stroking my hair. I was clinging to him, hugging him and looking up at him as he smiled at me. I knew I had come home!

Before, I had always been on a search for something to fill this empty void in my life. I tried filling it with drugs, alcohol, sex, with whatever I could to get a feeling of pleasure and self-worth. Now Jesus fills that void. After I read the New Testament, and Jesus became the reason and focus of my life, I began to see the world differently. It was as if someone had lifted the veil covering my eyes and I finally understood the truth about what my existence in this life really means.

Faith and freedom
For so long I had thought that Christianity was a means of control, with lots of rules of what you can and can’t do. Yet, it turns out that by giving my life to Jesus the opposite happened and I am finally FREE! I am no longer a slave to sin. Now I have the power to make the right choices for the right reasons, to honor God.
My Dad told me that he had known about my drug use and was watching my life unravel. He had felt so helpless, and at that time he begged for Gods help. He told me that he prayed to God, saying that he would give up anything and everything he owned to have me back to how I used to be. His prayers were answered! Here I was strong and full of joy, speaking about how God had changed my life, full of confidence and love. I was completely transformed. God had answered his prayer tenfold. At that moment he knew that God truly did exist. In a very short time, my parents and my brother have also become followers of Jesus.

Although my spiritual walk with Jesus has been brief, I have complete trust in God. I have exposed my vulnerability and weaknesses in order for God to use me to serve others. I will use my past hurts, struggles and weaknesses to help others as God sees fit. God created me as I am and my history has become part of His purpose. My personality and strengths are a result of His love for me.

Take a look at your life. How would you describe it? Contented? Rushed? Exciting? Stressful? Moving forward? Holding back? For many of us it’s all of the above at times. There are things we dream of doing one day, there are things we wish we could forget. In the Bible, it says that Jesus came to make all things new. What would your life look like if you could start over with a clean slate?

Living with hope
If you are looking for peace, there is a way to balance your life. No-one can be perfect, or have a perfect life. But every one of us has the opportunity to experience perfect grace through a personal relationship with God through His Son, Jesus Christ.

Jesus loves you! He loves you more than any other person could ever love you. He is your Healer, spirit, soul and body.

Call out to Him! Sing along with this song, "Jesus, I believe you're my healer, I believe you're more than enough for me. Jesus, you're all I need!"

Jesus wants to have a personal relationship with you. He wants to talk with you. Read the Bible. "For God so loved the world that He gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him, will not perish but have everlasting life." He's speaking to YOU, right now.

If you have never asked the Lord into your life, please DO IT NOW! Say a simple prayer, "Lord, I believe that you are my Savior. I thank you for dying for me. Please forgive me of all my sins. I want to live for you from now on. Thank you Lord, that I am SAVED, and will live for you. I love you, Jesus!" cross
The Lord inhabits the praises of His people! "In the world you will have tribulations, but cheer up, I have overcome the world," Jesus said.

Listen to the song. Sing along. Believe Him and take him at his Word. God cannot lie! He is faithful. Jesus said, "I will never leave you nor forsake you." He is with you right now.

"Our fellowship is with the Father and his Son Jesus Christ. And we are writing these things so that our joy may be complete."
--1 John 1:3-4
bible

Want to be happy? There is no greater joy in this life than to have a personal, intimate relationship with Jesus. Nothing!

Now, the world will tell you the exact opposite. Our culture screams at us that money...or a perfect physical appearance...or the right relationship...or sexual expression...are the only ways to find true joy.

But the only way to know an incredible, deep and dynamic joy...an inner happiness that lasts forever...is through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

Having been a pastor for many years, I've met a lot of people who can't seem to get past the fact that they can have a relationship with God... Someone they can't see or touch. Maybe you even feel this way today.

But I want to promise you, Jesus really is the personal God! I've never met Him physically, but I know Him all the same. He's not just somebody I know about, He's somebody I truly know deep down inside my heart.

How? Through the Spirit of God Who makes Him alive in me and makes me sure of His existence in my heart and life. And because of this, I have a deep and lasting joy. And you can too if you will just place your faith in Him today!

-SPEND SOME PERSONAL TIME WITH JESUS CHRIST TODAY.
--GET TO KNOW HIM BETTER!

Please accept Jesus' 'free gift' of eternal life now. Don't wait another day. You might not be here tomorrow. If you accept Jesus, you will not perish! You will live eternally with Him in Heaven! You must make a choice. Heaven or Hell?

-The Family of God
-Hebrews 2:10-18

"Both the one who makes men holy and those who are made holy are of the same family. So Jesus is not ashamed to call them brothers." (Hebrews 2:11) bible

The heart of this verse strikes me as incredible: Jesus and I are members of the same family. Amazing! How does one enter the family of God?

The Bible teaches that we enter God's family much the same way we enter human families: by birth or adoption. We have been born again, as Jesus explained to Nicodemus in John 3. And we have been adopted as His sons through Jesus Christ (Ephesians 1:5). We've doubly entered His family so that He knows us and cares for us as His very own children, His flesh and blood. What a wonder to be a part of the family of the God of the Universe! And He offers this 'free gift' to YOU. Every person on the earth is welcome to join in the 'body of Christ'. That's how much He loves us.

Spiritual new birth happens when we receive Jesus as our Savior. It is something so profound that the greatest theologians have studied and pondered it for centuries. Yet it is so simple that even a child can come to Him. Many years ago, I was born into the family of God the same way you can be: by acknowledging, 'I am a sinner, believing Jesus died to pay the penalty for my sins, and calling out to Him as my Lord and Savior.'
---
"Father, thank you for giving me new birth, adopting me as your own, and welcoming me into your family with open arms."

'Oh How He Love Us...all." Read the Bible as a personal love letter from our Lord and Savior, Jesus the Christ. May the words of this song speak to your heart. JESUS LOVES YOU!

-Finding Peace With God- Day of Discovery cross

A conversation with Mart DeHaan, host of Day of Discovery, about finding peace with God through faith in Jesus Christ.

Want to know more? If you've accepted Jesus Christ as your Savior, please click here to request booklets that can help you grow in your relationship with God.
<http://www.dod.org/findingpeace.aspx>

Jesus is standing at your heart's door, waiting for you to open the door and invite Him in. He loves you so very much. He died a terrible death so that we might have an everlasting life with Him in heaven. Some people think 'that's too simple.' So they turn away...

Yet, Jesus did many miracles to prove He truly is the Son of God. Please don't turn away. He said, "Come unto me, all you that labor and are heavy laden and I will give you rest."

Please come to Him now. He will not turn anybody away who asks in all sincerity. It's as easy as A,B,C. ASK Jesus to forgive your sins, ("All have sinned and come short of the glory of God.")

Believe that He died on that cross for YOU, so you will have eternal life with him. Confesss that you are a sinner in need of a Savior.

That is basically what is referred to as 'The Sinner's Prayer', Romans 10: 9-10:

"That if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved: for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses resulting in salvation."

Won't you please come to Jesus and be certain of your eternity. None of us knows if we will be here tomorrow. He'll meet you wherever you are. Tomorrow may be too late. Come now.....please.

--Why it's Never Too Late to Rejoin God's Family- bible

"And he arose and came to his father. But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and felt compassion, and ran and embraced him and kissed him." (Luke 15:20)

Years ago, a young man left angry from his home outside of Chicago. He and his father had harsh words and he swore to never come back.

-He did his own thing for several years, but he always wanted to go back home. So he wrote a letter to his mother that said, "Mother, I want to come home, but father said don't ever come back. I don't know if I can come back."

And he asked his mother to do something strange. He said, "If father will let me come home, have him tie a white handkerchief in the tree out front. And when I come by on the train I'll see it and know whether to get off."

Well, the boy was sweating all the way home. But as the train rounded the bend, he peered out the window and, to his amazement, on every branch was a white piece of cloth. His father had taken every bed sheet and every pillow in the house and ripped them up and tied them on the tree to say, "Welcome home, son!"

You and I have a Father like that, too. He wants you to come home if you're living far from Him. And it's because of what Christ has done, His death and resurrection, that you can come home today.
---
If you're living life without God, turn back to Him by trusting in Christ's death for you and come home to God's family!

-ETERNAL THIRST
-John 4:13-30

"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!" (2 Corinthians 5:17) cross

Jesus had the Samaritan woman's spiritual thirst on His mind as He inextricably drew her into conversation by asking for a drink of water. She was clueless, seeing only a hot, tired Jew sitting in the shade of the well. Jesus saw her needy heart.

Walking to the well, she may have felt the anxiety we feel deep inside, knowing our life is off track and we've no idea how to fix it. Not far into their conversation Jesus got to the point, and the woman relaized that she had been searching for spiritual fulfillment in all the wrong relationships.

Jesus shook her loose, as He shakes all of us loose from the things we think we need to make our lives work. Fully struck by the knowledge of who Jesus was, she couldn't return to her past. She could only go forward into His grace.

Jesus is sitting by the well of your life today, offering you His Living Water, to quench your eternal thirst. Are there long records of past sins holding you back from going forward with Him? Know that He lived and died to wash it all away.

Maria Gillan's best friend was one of the victims in the Va.Tech. Massacre. It left her with a big hole in her heart.
Our Lord filled Maria's heart with His peace and grace. He wants to do the same thing for you.

Are you hurting? Lonely? Sad? Depressed? Reach out to Jesus. He will take you by the hand and lead you through this brief life on earth, to live with Him forever in heaven.

Father God sent His only begotten son, Jesus Christ, to take your place on the cross, for the forgiveness of your sins. If you will just repent and ask Jesus to come live inside of you, He will set you free from the shackles of all pain.

--LOVE WORTH FINDING ~~
-By: Adrian Rogers

'Psychologists have long known that every person has two great longings and inward needs. The first is to be loved, and the second is to love. But when pressures and heartaches come into our lives, many give up any hope of ever finding love. The tragedy is that we often look in the wrong places to fill this deep need and longing. Some substitute lust for love. Others pursue material things or superficial relationships--all in the futile attempt to fill a God-shaped vacuum in the human heart. --- bible

But there is good news. There is a love worth finding and a love worth sharing. The Bible says, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life" (John 3:16).

On the cross of Christ, God's mighty love was revealed and offered unconditionally to all who would be saved. Do you long to know this mighty love? Then I need to ask you the most important question you'll ever be asked: Do you know beyond a shadow of a doubt that God loves you, that your sins are forgiven, and that you are saved and on your way to heaven? The great news is, you can know. Let me share with you how to discover the greatest love worth finding.

-Admit Your Sin--First, you must admit that you are a sinner. The Bible says, "There is none righteous, no, not one" (Rom 3:10). "For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God" (Rom. 3:23).

-Abandon Your Efforts--Second, you must abandon any efforts to save yourself. If we could save ourselves, Jesus' death would have been unnecessary. "Getting religion" cannot get you to heaven. The Bible says it is "not by works of righeousness which we have done, but according to his [God's] mercy he saved us" (Titus 3:5 KJV). Salvation is by God's grace, "not of works, lest any man should boast" (Eph. 2:8-9 KJV).

-Acknowledge Christ's Payment cross--What you cannot do for yourself, Jesus Christ has done for you. "But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us" (Rom 5:8). He died on the cross for you and then rose from the dead to prove that His payment was acceptable to God. But you must acknowledge and believe this fact. "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved" (Acts 16:31KJV).

-Accept Christ as Your Savior--Salvation is God's gift to you. "The gift of God is eternal life in Jesus Christ our Lord" (Rom. 6:23).
When someone offers you a priceless gift, the wisest thing you can do is accept it. This moment you can receive Christ's gift of salvation by sincerely praying this simple prayer from your heart:

Dear God, I know I am a sinner. I know you love me and want to save me. Jesus, I believe You are the Son of God who died on the cross to pay for my sins. I believe God raised You from the dead. I now turn from my sin and, by faith, receive You as my personal Lord and Savior. Come into my heart, Lord Jesus. In Your Name I pray. Amen. prayer

Friend, if you have not yet made a decision for Chirst, I urge you to receive Him today. You'll be eternally glad to know this love worth finding. If you have said this prayer, you can be assured that you are SAVED, and will live eternally in heaven with our Lord Jesus. Be sure to tell others of your eternal gift of salvation. [Romans 10: 9-10) ~~

-But have eternal life--- bible

God knows who you are, He loves you, and He wants you to know and love Him.
How do you do that?

You must first admit that, like everyone else, you are a sinner. Being sinners means that we are imperfect and do wrong; we fall short of God’s perfect standard. It also means we are separated from Him and deserve His judgment.

But He loves us! God sent His own Son, Jesus Christ, to die for our sins. He died for your sins. He was punished so you don’t have to be. Not only that; death did not defeat Him. After three days, Jesus rose from the dead, alive again!

Trusting in Jesus’ sacrifice for you is the only way to find forgiveness from God and to begin a relationship with Him. We urge you to take this step of faith today. To do that, simply talk to God – this is called praying – and tell Him you believe in His Son. We suggest a prayer like this:

“Lord Jesus Christ,

I am sorry for the things I have done wrong in my life. I ask your forgiveness and now turn from everything which I know is wrong. Thank you for dying on the cross for me to set me free from my sins. Please come into my life and fill me with your Holy Spirit and be with me forever.
Thank you Lord Jesus, Amen.”
cross

If you prayed this prayer or have questions, please let us know using the buttons below.

Did you pray the prayer to the left to accept Jesus Christ as your savior?
[Someone is online and ready to talk with you now. They want to help you to know the One who died for your sins. You can be free from the shackles of sin. Please e-chat with a person who truly cares about you.
JESUS LOVES YOU!]

--THE ENCOUNTER --(approximately 85 minutes)

-Stranded in the middle of nowhere five strangers find themselves, marooned in a deserted roadside diner. An arrogant businessman, (Steve "Sting" Borden), a lonely single woman, (Jaci Velasquez), a couple on the verge of divorce, and a youthful runaway all come face to face with a diner owner who serves them more than temporal nourishment. This genial host is a 'certain Nazarene', (Bruce Marchiano), who knows all of their secrets and possesses the answers to all of their problems--if only they would trust him. It is a miraculous Encounter that will leave them all changed.

[ starI have searched for several days, but this is the only youtube showing of the complete movie, so that is why you see 'Polish' written at the bottom on the screen. Try to just concentrate on this dynamic plot of 'The ENCOUNTER' with Jesus!

star YOU WERE MADE TO KNOW GOD! bible

Deep down, there’s a place within each of us that is made for one thing—a relationship with God. No matter how hard we try to cover it up or fill it with something else, we will never be satisfied.Our hearts will remain restless until they find their home with God. That deep, hidden part of you is there, even if you haven’t realized it until now.

But unfortunately, there’s a problem. A barrier exists between God and humankind. It’s called sin—a word that refers to all the ways we fall short of God’s design for humanity.

When the first human beings rebelled against God, sin became a part of the human condition. It has been passed on like a hereditary disease from ancestor to ancestor, all the way down the line to us today.

In the Bible, Romans 3:23 says, “Everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard.” And in Romans 6:23, we learn “the wages of sin is death.”*

In other words, all people need to be brought “back from the dead” spiritually. But there’s nothing we can do to remove this barrier of death on our own. No amount of good deeds on our part can change our eternal status.

Even though we sin, God doesn’t begrudge us our lives. In His kindness and mercy, He sustains us—blessing us even when we don’t know it—so we can eventually find the way back to Him. But if we don’t seek Him and His ways, or if we choose to reject Him, our spiritual deaths will be permanent.We will live apart from God and His goodness in eternity after we physically die. The Bible tells us that eternal life apart from God is to live in darkness, with no hope, no joy, and no love, forever.

God doesn’t want anyone to experience permanent death (2 Peter 3:9). He loved us so much that He devised a plan to free us from the grasp of sin and provide forgiveness for all time.

In the Bible, John 3:16 says, “God loved the world so much that he gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.”

Before time began, God has existed in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. There is no division between
these three Persons. Though it’s difficult for us to understand, they are one God.

Jesus Christ is God’s Son, and He is also God.

So when the Bible says, “God loved the world so much that he gave his one and only Son,” we see that God really gave Himself.

God knew that we needed to be rescued. He loved us so much that He devised a plan to free us from the grasp of sin and provide forgiveness for all time.

Because humanity failed to live according to God’s standard and had fallen into spiritual death, Jesus humbled Himself and came to earth to live as a man. He lived a sinless life and performed many miracles. But the world rejected Him and crucified Him on a cross. cross

He died on that cross and was buried in a tomb, but three days later, He rose from the grave.

What the world didn’t realize was that dying on the cross was Jesus’ plan all along. Through His death and resurrection, He removed the barrier between humankind and God. Because He was also God, Jesus conquered sin and death on our behalf so we could truly live.

Jesus’ victory on the cross was for everyone, including you. He offers salvation from sin and eternal death to all people as a gift, but He asks that we give Him our lives in return. How can we do this? By believing in Him, turning from our sins, and asking Him to be the Lord—the ruler and guide—of our lives.

Romans 10:9 says, “If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.”

Remember, God is love. He loves you more than anyone else ever has or ever could. In giving your life to Him, you invite His love into every aspect of who you are. His love is transforming, and His forgiveness is complete.

God will transform you and make you a new person in Him. You will find the joy-filled life you’ve always longed to have.

There’s no need to put off receiving God’s gift of salvation. You don’t need to clean yourself up first, start behaving better, or anything of the sort before you can become a follower of Jesus. You can take the first step right now.
Open your heart to God and receive Him. He’s ready to receive you. You can pray the following prayer or use your own words.

"Dear Lord, I believe You are truly the Son of God. I confess that I have sinned against You in thought, word, and deed. Plese forgive all my wrongdoing, and let me live in relationship with You from now onx. I receive You as my personal Savior, accepting the work You accomplished once and for all on the cross. Thank you for saving me. Help me to live a life that is pleasing to You. Amen."

-Our Living Lord

cross"Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also." (John 14:19)

We who believe on Christ have the promise of everlasting life because He lives, and we see Him by faith. Christ Himself is "our life" (Colossians 3:4), in fact.

He is the very sustainer of our life. He is both the "living water" (John 4:10) that is "springing up into everlasting life" (John 4:14) and "the living bread which came down from heaven," such wonderful bread "that a man may eat thereof, and not die" (John 6:50-51).

Not only does Christ give us His living bread and living water, but also He provides Himself as the living way to God. "Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus, By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh" (Hebrews 10:19-20).

He is also the solid foundation on which we build our lives, and that very foundation is vibrant with life. "To whom coming, as unto a living stone, disallowed indeed of men, but chosen of God, and precious, Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house" (1 Peter 2:4-5). Our spiritual lives are built on a living stone, nourished on living bread and living water while entering by a living way into the presence of the living God!

He "hath begotten us again unto a lively hope [same as 'living hope'] by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you" (1 Peter 1:3-4).

"I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me" (Galatians 2:20). All this is ours through our loving, living Lord!

star-"All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." bible

-Jesus loves you just like you are, but He wants to help change you into a new person. We cannot change ourselves. Only the Lord can change us. You may ask, "Why do I have to change?" Because God is Holy and Righteous. He cannot be in the presence of sin. That's why Jesus died on the cross, to forgive all the sins of the entire world. That was a lot of sins piled on His shoulders.

The Bible tells us, "Without the shedding of blood, there is no forgiveness of sin." Jesus willingly gave up His life in place of my sin and in place of your sin.
Will you please take a little time and listen closely to the video? Every word in the Bible is truth. Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me."

Please open your heart and invite Jesus to come in. He is standing at your heart's door, knocking and asking you, "Please accept My free gift of eternal life." To be a gift, it has to be accepted and received. Please say a simple prayer of repentance and ask for His forgiveness. He's knocking on your heart. Please invite Him to come in. Don't put it off. You may not be here tomorrow. Only God knows how long we will live on this earth. But after this life, there is a new life in heaven. No more sadness, crying, tears, pain, sorrow. We will live eternally with Jesus and his saints. ~~

-The Greatest Gift of All
-- angelwing --- bible
Do you have a relationship with Almighty God? Jesus came to redeem you. If you haven't accepted His salvation, take this opportunity: admit your need for forgiveness, and ask Christ to be your Savior. The gift is wrapped and ready, waiting for you to open and enjoy all God has given.

When God the Son came to dwell on earth, He took on human flesh. This mystery is known as the incarnation. Jesus, who was fully God, lived a sinless life. Yet He was also fully human. Without Christ, we would be eternally separated from God the Father. The sin we all inherited through Adam does not allow fellowship with the perfect God. So the Savior, Jesus, took our iniquities upon Himself and endured the death penalty in our place. And then He rose from the dead.

In doing this, Jesus redeemed us and opened the door for eternal fellowship with Father God. Any who so choose can accept mercy instead of punishment. It is God's 'free gift' which includes an eternal home in heaven. We will live forever with Christians from every generation and can look forward to reuniting with loved ones who have alreaady died in the Lord. A small baby in a manger was truly the greatest gift of all time. JESUS THE SAVIOR OF MANKIND!

Please if you have not already done so, ask Jesus to come into your life and help you live for Him. Tell Him you are sorry for all your sins, and ask for His forgiveness. By faith, he will forgive you and help you to live for Him and His Word. Read your Bible daily, and He will talk to you. Begin in the Book of John. JESUS LOVES YOU!

—Romans 3:23

starThe most important decision in your life will be whether or not you accept Him as your personal Lord and Savior.

Amen." prayer

If you have just prayed this prayer and accepted Christ, we would like to know so that we can celebrate with you! If you have questions or concerns, please contact us. We want to encourage you in your walk with the Lord!

---JESUS: The Son of God

-One of the most dramatic scenes in the New Testament occurred in a city known as Caesarea Philippi....it was indeed a dramatic picture. In the midst of this carnival of marble columns and gold idols, a penniless, homeless, nameless Nazarene asks His band of followers, "Who do you say that I am?"

The immensity of the question is staggering. I would imagine that Peter's answer did not come without some hesitation. Shuffling of feet. Anxious silence. How absurd that this man should be the Son of God. No trumpets. No purple robes. No armies. Yet there was that glint of determination in His eye and that edge of certainty in His message. Peter's response sliced the silence. "I believe that you are...the Son of God."

Many have looked at Jesus; but few have seen Him. Many have seen His shadow, His people, His story. But only a handful have seen Jesus.

Only a few have looked through the fog of religiosity and found Him. Only a few have dared to stand eye to eye and heart to heart with Jesus and say, cross"I believe that You are the Son of God."/
Won't YOU please tell Jesus how much you love Him and need Him. He is the only Way to eternal life in Heaven. Please come to Him. He loves you so very much. He suffered and died to save YOU.

--How to Open Your Heart to Christ
--- bible
"...according to the riches of His glory He may grant you to be strengthened with power through His Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith..." (Ephesians 3:16-17)

-THERE was a sermon preached several years ago by a man named Robert Boyd Monger called My Heart, Christ's Home. In it, he imagined his heart as being a house with many rooms. And he said that when he invited Jesus into his life, he first met Him in the living room, that place of daily activity. And he gave the Lord the living room of his heart. cross

On and on they went, through every room in the house, Jesus slowly taking over every aspect of his life. Then Jesus told him, "There's something that still smells in this house." He knew immediately what He was talking about...there was a locked closet upstairs no one knew about, and he certainly didn't want the Lord to see it.

But the Lord said, "I must have that closet." So he handed over the key and Jesus opened the door. And sure enough, there were those sinful secret habits right there in the closet. The Lord cleansed all of that, took all that out, and said, "Now, I can be at home here."

As you look at your life, what rooms do you have locked to Jesus? It it your bedroom, your personal life? Is it your game room, things you enjoy that aren't pleasing to Him? Or do you have a secret closet that you're trying to hide? Whatever it is, open the doors of your heart and let Jesus come and dwell there!

--Whatever areas of your life you're keeping closed to God, give them over to Him and let Jesus live in your heart! He's knocking on your heart's door right now. He loves you so much that He died on the Cross so that you might have eternal life with Him.

-The Heart-Touching Admission of a Professing Atheist
-By: Haven Ministries

-Dear Friend of Haven, bible

A young man, whom I will call Brian, sat down next to me on an airplane. During five-hour plane rides, like the one ahead of us, passengers rarely exchange more than pleasantries.

But not Brian.
Pleasant and well-spoken, Brian told me he worked for the U.S. Foreign Service. He asked what I did and I told him about 'Haven.' He said he hadn't heard of it, quickly adding that he was an atheist. As we continued our conversation he confessed that even though he believed there was no God, he still prayed the Lord's Prayer several times a week. Why?

He explained to me that his job is quite dangerous. He regularly visits embassies in hostile countries. Frequently his life is in danger, but he wants to help people and make a difference. He feels spiritually needy and is drawn toward Christianity, secretly hoping it is true.

My heart went out to him. Clearly something was holding him back.

We talked about many things, including the Gospel. As we got ready to disembark I gave him a challenge. I said, "Just ask Jesus, 'Are you real?' Then start reading your Bible and see what you find. You have nothing to lose."He said he would.

As I walked toard baggage claim I thanked God for the chance to share Christ, and also for the reminder that, despite feigning indifference, many people are interested in Jesus and are open to hearing about Him. Past surverys tell us one in three Haven listeners fall into this category. They may not be ready to take a step of faith...yet. But they are listening. That's why it is so important to reach as many people as possible with Haven's message that's "all about Jesus."

Let's keep telling the "Grerat Story...it's all about Jesus!" People are listening to us, and watching us. Only the Lord knows who will, (in private) accept Him as their Lord and Savior. (Romans 10:9-11)

The Lord is
risen indeed!

---
-Luke 24:13-34

One reason we know Jesus rose from the grave is that, according to the gospel of Luke, He approached two travelers headed to Emmaus, 3 days after His crucifixion. Jesus walked with them; he ate dinner with them; He even gave them a lesson in Old Testament prophecy (24:15-27). This encounter showed the travlers that Jesus conquered the grave--he had risen from the dead. As a result, the pair returned to Jerusalem and told the disciples, "The Lord is risen indeed!" (.34).

If Jesus had not come back to life, our faith as Christians would be pointless, and we would still be under the penalty of our sin (1 Cor. 15:17). However, the Bible tells us that Jesus "was raised to life for our justification" (Rom. 4:25) NIV). Today, we can be right with God because Jesus is alive!
---
The empty cross and the empty tomb provide a full salvation./ JESUS IS ALIVE!

---
starNo matter what you may have done in your life, Jesus loves you. He died so that you might have eternal life. He was called a "Man of Sorrows", because He lived a life that was very difficult and yet proven to be the TRUTH, the WAY, and the LIFE, to find eternal life in Christ. "All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. There is none good, no not even one." But that debt for sin required a blood sacrifice, so Jesus paid that price for you and for me. Because of His willingness to die in our place, proves that He loves each one of us equally. If you have not asked Jesus into your life, please pray a brief prayer, something like this, or in your own words: "Lord Jesus, I accept your dying for me, the death on the Cross as payment for my sins. I confess that I am a sinner in need of a Savior. Please come into my life and help me to live for You. Thank you for forgiving me, Jesus. amen"

--JESUS CARES ABOUT YOU!
-Do you think Jesus only cares about things like Heaven and Hell? ~~

Do you think Jesus only cares about things like forgiveness and sin or holiness and wickedness? Jesus does care about those things. But He also cares about your job, about whether your child makes the sports team, about your children's college tuition, and about the roof that leaks and the cranky transmission in your car. Jesus cares even if the problem we face is largely of our own making.

Jesus cares and prays to the Father about your physical needs today, just as He cared for those of the hungry crowd so long ago. The people who had tagged along "to the far shore of the Sea of Galilee" (John 6:1), interrupting Jesus' retreat, were people who had first sought to be with Jesus Himself.

Jesus cares about you and He loves you so much that He died on the Cross for your sins. Won't you invite Him into your heart today? He's waiting and knocking on your heart's door. Won't you invite Him in, please?

Do you know God? Jesus tells us He and the Father are One. "Jesus is the way, the truth and the life, no one comes to the Father except through Him."

To be one of His people, you must first acknowledge you are a sinner in need of a Savior. The Bible says, "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." You aren't alone. Here is a prayer you can say and Jesus, will come into your life and forgive you of all your sins.

"Lord Jesus, I believe You truly are the Son of God. I confess that I have sinned against You in thought, word, and deed. Please forgive all my sins and let me live in relationship with You. I receive You as my personal Savior and thank you for dying on the Cross for me. Help me to live a life that is pleasing to You, Lord. Amen." prayer

-TRUE SACRIFICE

-Romans 5:1-11
----
Greater love has no
one than this, than
to lay down one's
life for his friends.
---John 15:13
-- bible
----
There are no coincidences with our Lord Jesus. He has led you here to let you know He wants to break every chain that the devil has you chained to. Maybe it's pornography, alcohol, drugs, cigarettes, sex, fighting, anger, bitterness, cursing, disobedience to parents or employers. All of the above things are a result of SIN. They are all from Satan.

Jesus Christ lived out the powerful words of John 15:13 in the above text within hours of stating them. The upper room event where Jesus spoke of such sacrifice was followed by communion with the Father at Gethsemane, a series of illegal trials, and then crucifixion before a mocking crowd.

As the Son of God, Jesus could have avoided the suffering. He was utterly without sin and did not deserve to die. But love, the fuel that drives true sacrifice, drove Him to the Cross. He willingly gave His life for you and for me. As a result, we can be forgiven if we will accept His sacrifice and resurrection by faith. Have you trusted the One who laid down His life for you?

Jesus wants to 'Break Every Chain" that Satan has you bound to. Won't you ask Him to come into your life and help you to live for Him. Jesus made a willing sacrifice for you and for me.
Only Jesus, the perfect Sacrifice, can declare guilty people perfect. He will do that for you. Accept His 'free gift' of salvation now by saying a simple prayer. Maybe the one below, or in your own words:
"Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner in need of a Savior. I accept your sacrifice on the Cross for the forgiveness of my sins. I believe that You are the Son of God, and you died to set me free. Thank you Lord, for forgiving me and accepting me into your Kingdom. Lord, break every chain that the enemy of my soul has on me, please, in Jesus Name." prayer amen.

-THERE IS POWER N THE NAME OF JESUS TO BREAK EVERY CHAIN!Please watch and listen to the video. Jesus wants to set you free!

-WHO IS GOD? DOES GOD CARE ABOUT ME? HOW CAN I KNOW JESUS? crackthebook
-WHAT DOES IT MEAN "TO BE SAVED?"

Who Is God?

God has a plan for each one of us. He created us for a reason. He wants to be with us and He wants each one of us to have a meaningful and abundant life here and eternal life with Him in Heaven.

--What does the Bible say about this?
---John 10:10
I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. bible (New International Version)

--John 3:16
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. (New International Version)

-What happened to God’s plan? Why are there so many who don’t know Him?
Even though God made us to love Him and to be with Him, He does not force us to do so. God allows us to make our own choices. The problem is that we have chosen to disobey God. This causes us to be separated from the very One who loves us the most, from the very One who made us to be with Him.--What does the Bible say about this?
-Romans 3:23
For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.
(New International Version)

--Romans 6:23
For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
(New International Version)

Jesus Christ willingly gave His life on the cross, was buried in a tomb and rose again after three days. He did this to pay the price for the sins of every man, woman, boy, and girl who lives, who has ever lived, and who will ever live. Jesus did this for us because of God’s love for us.
--What does the Bible say about this?
--John 14:6
Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.
(New International Version)

--Romans 5:8
But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
(New International Version)

God provided a way for us to be with Him but everyone must make the choice!

Through Jesus Christ we can know that we will live with God for eternity! Because of His mercy we no longer have to be separated from God and through His grace we can receive forgiveness for our sins.

-What does the Bible say about this?
--Romans 10:9
That if you confess with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. angelwing
(New International Version)

--Revelation 3:20
Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with Me.
(New International Version)

--John 1:12
Yet to all who received Him, to those who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God.
(New International Version)

The gift of Salvation cost God’s only Son, Jesus Christ, His life! The cost of Salvation to us? Nothing. It is a free gift offered to each of us by God the Father through His Son, cross Jesus Christ.

star-Here are four easy steps to accepting this 'free gift' of eternal life:
1.Admit that you need God - “I am a sinner”
2.Be willing to say you’re sorry - “I repent of my sins”
3.Believe that Jesus Christ, the Son of God, paid for your sins by dying for you on the cross and rising again on the third day - “I believe in Jesus Christ”
4.Ask Jesus Christ to save you and to control your life through the power of the Holy Spirit - “I accept Jesus as my personal Lord and Savior”

What is your choice? Will you pray to receive Christ and His gift of abundant and eternal life?

Pray this – speak it to God in your heart and mind – out loud too if you wish :

“Dear Jesus, I know that because of my sin I need Your forgiveness. I believe that You died on the cross for my sins. I believe You rose again so I could live with You. I want to stop living for myself and start living for You. I want Your peace in my life. I want forgiveness for my sins. Please come into my heart and change my life. I want to live with You forever. I want You to be my Lord and Savior. In Jesus’ name. Amen.” prayer

IF YOU PRAYED THIS PRAYER TO RECEIVE CHRIST AND HIS GIFT OF SALVATION, PLEASE LET US KNOW! WE WANT TO HELP YOU AND GUIDE YOU AS YOU START YOUR NEW LIFE AS A CHILD OF GOD.

-"Inside every person is a desire to know God."

---WHO'S TO BLAME?

--"For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved."
--JOHN 3:17
bible

WHY would a loving God send anyone to Hell? Let me answer that question with a question.

If someone deliberately commits a crime and is caught, who is to blame if that person is found guilty and sentenced to jail? Is the Judge to blame--or is the criminal?

The lawbreaker is to blame for what has happened to him, not the Judge. Yes, the Judge sentenced him, but he alone broke the law, and he alone is to blame for the penalty he received. The Judge was only following the Law. The lawbreaker can't blame the judge; he can only blame himself.

Likewise, when we break God's Law, we stand condemned, and we ourselves are to blame for what happens to us, not God. We can only blame ourselves for the consequences.

But we don't have to pay the penalty for our sins because Christ has already paid it for us. cross By His death on the Cross, Jesus took the punishment you and I deserve. Jesus suffered judgment and Hell for us. Praise God, for His love!

We committed the crimes, yet Jesus took all the sins of the entire world, and carried them on His shoulders and nailed them to the Cross. He died so that we might live with Him eternally. But we MUST, make a CHOICE. Will we accept Jesus' sacrificial death on the Cross for the forgiveness of our sins, ask Him to come into our life, forgive us, and help us to live for Him?

Jesus stands at the door and knocks, asking if we will invite Him into our lives. "Without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness of sin." Jesus suffered a horrible death on the Cross 2,000 years ago so that your and my sins will be forgiven. Please don't let another day pass, without asking Jesus to come into your life, and set you free from sin, self, Satan and the world.

Turn away from your sin, confess that He is God's Son, and He will forgive you--setting you free from the past to live a beautiful future in eternity. You can use the following prayer or your own words:

'Lord Jesus, I believe You are truly the Son of God. I confess that I have sinned against You in thought, word, and deed. Please forgive all my wrongdoing, and let me live in relationship with You from now on. I receive You as my personal Savior, accepting the work You accomplished once and for all on the Cross. Thank you, Lord for saving me. Help me to live a life that is pleasing to You. Amen~

--JESUS SET ME FREE FROM HOMOSEXUALITY!
PLEASE WATCH AND LISTEN TO THE VIDEO BELOW. YOU CAN BE FREE!

There is nothing our LORD God, the Great Jehovah can not do. He sets captives free from alcohol, pornography, sex perversions, homosexuaity, drugs, stealing, cursing, child-abuse, etc. All sin must be judged, because our Great and Holy God, Jehovah cannot be in the presence of sin.

Jesus can and will set you free if you just call on His Name and repent. It may not happen over night, or in a few weeks, but if you stay faithful to Him, He will deliver you from the bondage that Satan has you in. Jesus sets the captives free.
God is a 'God of Renovation and Restoration'. God is still at work replacing old ways of sin and legalism with the way of love that Jesus completed. He is the Way, the Truth and the Life. "No one comes to the Father except through Him."
Jesus paved a new way with His sacrificial love on the Cross. cross "Without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness of sin."

God is still at work replacing old ways of sin and legalism with the way of love that Jesus completed. When He removes our old ways of thinking, it may feel as if everything familiar is being destroyed. But He is building a better way. And we can be confident that the end result will be smoother relationships with others and a closer relationship with Him. "Call on the Name of the Lord Jesus and be saved. He came to set the captives free."

Yes, YOU can know God. Turn away from your sin, confess that He is God's Son, and He will forgive you--setting you free from the past to live a beautiful future in eternity. Maybe use these words, or words from your own heart, .....
"Lord Jesus, I believe You are truly the Son of God. I confess that I have sinned against You. Please forgive all my wrongdoing, and let me live in relationship with You from now on. I receive You as my personal Savior, accepting the work You completed when you died on the Cross for me. Thank you for saving me, Lord. Help me to live a life that is pleasing to You. Amen~

-ETERNAL LIFE:
-Do You Want It? (Recommended Reading: 1 John 5:3-12)

---- bible
Scripture makes it absolutely clear that eternal life is available to every person on earth (Rom 10:13). Sickness, disease, and death are all bound to life on this planet; however, everyone in Christ has already overcome the worst this world has to offer--namely, death (1 John 5:4-5).

As believers, we should be shouting this message from the rooftops. The people around us are yearning for a word of life, but too many Christians have remained silent. Why? How can we keep secret what God went to such great lengths to reveal? We can live forever! Who in your life needs to hear this amazing truth?

To have eternal life we must accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior, believe that He died on the Cross to forgive our sins, and confess that we are sinners in need of Him, our Savior. Jesus paid a very high price to take you to Heaven with Him. He took the sins of the entire world on His shoulders, and nailed them to the cross Cross for your entire sin debt. YES! Because of what Jesus did for us, He offers each individual eternal life, but you must accept this 'gift' from Him and repent. (Romans 10:9-10)

There is a price that must be paid, and Jesus paid the entire price for yours and my sins. Praise His Name. For the believer, "To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord."

Let's listen in to Pastor Charles Stanley on 'Eternal Life'.

---JESUS OUR SAVIOR~~

--Have you ever wondered.....

***Why Jesus came to earth?

***If there are any other ways to get to heaven?

-----
-Recommended Reading: John 10:10; John14:6; Acts 4:12; 1 Timothy 1:15- bible
-----
MANY people search for faith like they shop for clothes. They browse the racks of religion, pick an item, and try it on for size. If it doesn't fit, they throw it right back on the rack. If it's comfortable and makes them look good, then they buy it. Besides, it can always be returned.

Some people claim that Christianity is too narrow. Jesus clearly said that there's only one way to heaven and one narrow path that leads to God--and He is the way. He's not the least bit tolerant or accepting of other methods, sincere as they might be.

Why is that so hard to accept? In every other area of life, we accept absolutes. When we bake, we put in the exact ingredients. When we drive somewhere, we follow the directions. When we seek God, He requires only one thing---Christ---and that's the only way to God.

We're not saved by a system of religion. Salvation is beautifully, incredibly simple. Jesus is the one Savior, and He's free for accepting. Jesus gave His life as a 'gift' for us to follow Him to eternal life.

The woman said to Him, "I know that Messiah is coming" (who is called Christ). "When He comes, He will tell us all things." Jesus said to her, "I who speak to you am He."
--(John 4:25,26)

Some personal applications:
***-Do you believe that Jesus is the only way to the Father?
_________________________________

***-Why do some people struggle with this concept?
_________________________________

--For a more in-depth study, read: Hebrews 5:7-9

"Let us ask our Father humbly, yet confidently in the name of Jesus, to remind us of the empty tomb. Let us see the victorious Jesus: cross the conqueror of the tomb, the One who defied death. And let us be reminded that we, too, will be granted that same victory! All Jesus asks of us is, 'Come to Me all who are weak and heavy laden and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn of Me. You will find rest for your souls. I will give you eternal life.'"
~~~~~~~~
Jesus loves you with an everlasting love. He wants to have a personal relationship with you and give you eternal life with Him. Please won't you accept His 'gift'? In order to be a 'gift' it must be received.
-Romans 10:9-11/ That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord" and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. As the Scripture says, "Anyone who trusts in Him will never be put to shame."~~~~
-Hello,
--Do You Belong To God's Family? He loves you and wants to have you in His family
.
It's the most important issue of life: Can you say that God is your Father? Have you become a child of God by declaring your personal faith in Jesus as Savior? Your answer determines whether all the joys of knowing God as Father now and throughout eternity will be yours.
Perhaps you are not sure that you are a member of the family of God. Now is a good time to settle the issue.
The Father longs to adopt you, and the procedure is simple. Come to Him in childlike faith, accepting His offer of forgiveness from your sins, which have kept you out of the family. Jesus lived, died, and rose from the grave to show you the Father's love and to make it possible to become a member of God's family.
"As many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God." --John 1:12~~
God the Father is waiting to hear from you. He does not expect flowery words, just a simple expression of childlike faith. Tell Him that you believe Jesus died on the Cross to pay the penalty for your sins. Accept His gift of forgiveness (Romans 6:23) and the invitation to be part of His family forever. (Romans 10:9-10).
If you've done that, welcome to the family!
---------
You can use the following prayer or your own words:
"Lord Jesus, bible I believe You are truly the Son of God. I confess that I have sinned against You. Please forgive all my wrongdoing, and help me live in relationship with You from now on. I receive You as my Savior and recognize that the work You accomplished once and for all on the Cross has been done for me. Thank You for saving me, Lord. Help me to live a life for You. Amen" prayer
We will gladly send you our free 'All Things Are New' kit to help you take the next step in your relationship with God. Call our Customer Care department at 800-789-1473, or visit <www.intouch.org> for more information. May God richly bless you!
Gifts to 'Whosoever will
Come to Him with a broken
spirit and contrite heart.'
---Psalm 34:18
------
-HOW TO ENJOY
THINGS FROM GOD~~
----Ecclesiastes 5:13-20 bible
------
'As for every man
---to receive his
heritage and rejoice
in his labor---this is
the gift of God.'
---Ecclesiastes 5:19
----
IN his book 'Daring To Draw Near,' Dr. John White writes that several years earlier God had made it possible for him to acquire a lovely home with many luxuries. His feeling about the house fluctuated dramatically.
When he reminded himself that it was a gracious gift from God, he felt joy and thanksgiving. But when he would begin to compare it with those of his friends, he would feel proud because he had such a fine house and his joy would evaporate. His home would actually become a burden. All he could see were the many hedges and trees to care for and the endless odd jobs to do. White said, "While vanity clouds my eyes and burdens my heart, gratitude clears my vision and lightens my load."
The writer of Ecclesiastes saw God at every turn in the enjoyment of material things. The power to eat the fruits of our labors and even the strength to receive and rejoice in them is from Him (5:18-19).
From beginning to end, all of life is a continuous gift-giving by God. We deserve nothing. He owes us nothing. Yet He gives us everything. If we remember this, we need not feel selfish or guilty. Whatever material blessings we have are a 'gift' from our gracious God.
----
-GOD, WHO HAS GIVEN SO MUCH TO US, ALSO GIVES 'HIS FREE GIFT' OF ETERNAL LIFE WITH JESUS. WON'T YOU COME TO JESUS TODAY FOR THE GIFT OF SALVATION AND ETERNAL LIFE? NOTHING ON THIS EARTH COMPARES TO HIS HEAVENLY HOME, THE CELESTIAL CITY.
---ODB/DDH/ COME NOW IS THE TIME TO WORSHIP!
Please forgive all my wrongdoing, and let me live in relationship with You from now on. I receive You as my Savior and recognize that the work You accomplished once and for all on the Cross was done on my behalf. Thank You for saving me. Help me to live a life that is pleasing to You. Amen.'
--Without Power
--Isaiah 40:27-31/ 41:10
-------
He gives power to
the weak, and to
those who have no
might He increases
strength.
--Isaiah 40:29
---
-In October 2012, a hurricane spawned superstorm struck the heavily populated northeastern US, leaving massive flooding and destruction in its wake. During the storm, more than 8 million customers lost electricity. Power outages alone caused shortages of food, fuel, and water, along with the chaos of gridlocked transportation. The howling winds and surging waters left many neighborhoods crushed, flooded, and choked with mountains of sand. Media coverage of the event reported: "Millions Without Power."
Like a storm of nature, a personal tragedy can often leave us feeling powerless and in the dark. During such times, God's Word assures us of His help: "He gives power to the weak, and to those who have no might He increases strength" (Isa. 40:29).
At our lowest point, drained of emotional resources, we can place our hope in the Lord and find our strength in Him. He promises us that, for each new day, "Those who wait on the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint" (v.31).
God is our spiritual power source in every storm of life.
----
-It takes the storms of life to provide for us the real Shelter. God is our Shelter in times of trouble. We must put our trust in Him.
----------
-Do You Know God? I mean a close relationship with Him? The Son of God, Jesus came to earth to meet humanity's most crucial need--forgiveness and reconciliation. There's nothing we can do to be good enough, but Jesus lived a perfect life and died in our place (2 Cor. 5:21). If you'll trust Him as your Savior, you will live with Him forever in Heaven. You can pray something like this, or use your own words.
'Lord, Jesus, I believe you are truly the Son of God. I confess I have sinned against You. Please forgive all my wrongdoing, and let me live in relationship with You from now on. I receive you as my Savior, and I accept that You died on the Cross to pay my sin-debt. Thank You for saving me. Help me to live a life that is pleasing to You, Lord. Amen.~~
Thank you, Anna....
We will leave this on here because even though it is dated Feb 10th, we are definitely living in the End Times. If you have not received Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior, PLEASE DO NOT WAIT. He could come for His Church (people), anytime. Are you ready? You must receive Jesus into your heart by ABC, Accepting Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior, Believing that He died on that Cross for the forgiveness of 'your' sins. Confess that you are a sinner in need of Him the Savior, and ask Him to come into your life and change you by the power of the Holy Spirit. He will not turn you away, if you ask in a sincere broken spirit and contrite heart. Come to Jesus and live eternally. Read Romans 10:9-10/ bible "That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved." / Yes, prophecy is being fulfilled RIGHT NOW, in our time. We see it in the news and on the Internet. "No man knows the day or hour the Son of man will return." Come to Jesus, and be sure of where you will spend eternity. "There is no other Name given among men whereby we must be saved, JESUS!"
--I am serving a sentence in Danville Correctional Center because I was living a life of Idolatry, and was caught for choosing to 'do what I thought was right, in my own eyes.'
--Exodus 20:1-2
"Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools, and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images made to look like mortal man and birds and animals and reptiles." (Romans 1:22-23)
I found out the hard way, that God is strict in His Word, demanding complete obedience to all His precepts. Why then do people bow before images? Why do men worship trees, rats, saints, and other idols? If you take a look around, you will see that this is so. I know that behind the walls of the prison where I live, these distorted kinds of worship are evident. A believer in Jesus has to wonder why a father in Mexico would sacrifice his little daughter to the "god of the harvest". And why do so many worship creation rather than the Creator who made all that is seen?
Because of my sinfulness and lustful living, I was put in this Jail. We find true freedom when we smash all the idols in our lives. We must choose to serve the living God, Jesus Christ, over our sinful lifestyles. Everybody is enslaved to something. 'The lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, or the boastful pride of life.' Freedom is found in surrendering your life to Jesus Christ.
Jesus came to this sinful world by choice, in order to set us free from our sinfulness. He died on the Cross, so that we can go to Heaven. He took all of our sins on his shoulders so that you and I can have life and that more abundantly. I am imprisoned for living my life my own way. I hope you will not do the same. Jesus loves all of the people in this world, cross (John 3:16). But He gives each person the choice to follow Him. I found freedom, when I surrendered to Jesus Christ.
Please listen to someone who's been in the worldly pleasures of life. I wasn't 'free' until I said I was a sinner in need of a Savior. Won't you surrender to Jesus today, and know for sure that you will go to Heaven when you die? Come to the Savior, Jesus and you can be set free as well.
---THE POWER OF THE CROSS!
--The preaching of the Cross may be foolishness to the world, but to those who are saved it is the power of God. No wonder Charles Wesley declared in his anthem of praise, "Amazing love, how can it be, that Thou, my God, shouldst die for me!"
It is that powerful Cross and the love displayed there that moves hearts from death to life. There is an old saying, "The ground is always level at the foot of the Cross." It was in the first century, and it still is today. The foot of the Cross is where paupers and princes, well-knowns and unknowns, generals and centurions, find level ground to kneel and embrace the Christ who died for them--and for us.
The men and women who witnessed the trial, crucifixion, death, and resurrection of Christ saw more than words can ever express. But what they saw in their lifetime, we have seen in the Scriptures. The book of Romans explains it this way: "So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God." (10:17).
If we have heard and believed, it mustn't end there. We must burn with the passion to know Him--the very passion of the apostle Paul, who wrote that his life's goal was, "..That I may know Him and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death" (Phil. 3:10).
May that desire burn in our hearts as well, that we might truly know the One who gave Himself for us.
-Please come to Jesus and find the true way to eternal life. Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me."
---Is it True That Jesus is the Only Way to Heaven?
It is a common cultural belief that there are many ways to get to heaven. Is this true?
What would make more sense, for God to give many ways to come to Him or to give one clear way for every person to believe? Jesus taught, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6). According to Jesus, there is only one way to know God personally—through Him.
The earliest followers of Jesus affirmed the teaching of Jesus on this issue: "And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12). The apostle Paul also noted, "For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes" (Romans 1:16). This gospel was the good news of the risen Jesus. Paul taught that those who believed in Jesus would receive salvation, or be saved from Hell and receive eternal life with God in Heaven.
As a result, not everyone will automatically go to Heaven when they die. Further, there are no works you can do to earn your way to Heaven. The only path provided by Jesus is faith in Him. As He taught in John 3:16, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life."
Ephesians 2:8-9 explain that our human efforts are not good enough for us to reach heaven on our own: "For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast." If we could earn Heaven on our own, we would brag and boast of our accomplishments. Instead, God made salvation a free gift. Those who receive His free gift also will spend eternity with Him.
While some may view this approach as exclusive, Jesus gave Himself as the way of reaching Heaven because of His love. Romans 5:8 teaches, "God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us." This great love brought Jesus from Heaven to earth to live, die, and return to life to provide the opportunity for us to have eternal life by believing in Him.
To accept Jesus as your Savior and receive eternal life, you can respond with a prayer similar to the below. Remember that salvation is not about words you say or works you do. It's about Jesus' work and believing in Him.
"Dear God, I realize I am a sinner and could never reach heaven by my own good deeds. Jesus Christ is the only one who can save me. So right now I place my faith in Jesus Christ as God's Son who died for my sins and rose from the dead to give me eternal life. Please forgive me of my sins and help me to live for you. Thank you for accepting me and giving me eternal life."
--Lead Me To The Cross~~
-"Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders nor thieves, nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. And that is what some of you were. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of God."
--1 Corinthians 6:9-11 bible
Every person is born into this world as a sinner. That's right. But when they come to the age of accountability, when they understand that their lifestyle is not according to the Word of God, (as the scripture verses tell us above), then they must make a choice to accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior, or reject His 'free gift.' You will receive the offer of 'new birth' (spiritual birth), created in Christ. The free gift is the certainty that you will go to the Heaven when you leave this earth (die).
We all must make that choice. Jesus will not force Himself on anyone.
You can come to Jesus just as you are. He will not turn you away if you ask Him to come into your life, confess that you are a sinner, and ask Him to forgive you for living out of His will.
Each person must make that decision for themselves. We do not inherit Christ just because our family were Christians, nor because we prayed one day to change. When you come to Jesus your entire lifestyle will change. It takes time. Jesus will help you each day as you call upon His name, and He will help guide you on the right path, to the Cross. Jesus paid your sin-debt by dying for you on that Cross. He loves you with an everlasting love.
Won't you please come to Him and accept His 'free gift' of eternal life now? Listen to this nice song and ask Him to lead you to the Cross. May the Lord bless you as you begin and continue following Him.
Find a Bible believing Church and begin attending, you will learn more about the Christian life. Begin reading the book of John in your Bible. It is a 'free gift', that Christ paid for when He died on the Cross. It is not burdensome. "Whom the Son sets free is free indeed."
If you just said a prayer and accepted Jesus, Welcome into the family of God! ~~
--Blessings and greetings, my friend!
--Suppose at one time you did pray to receive Jesus as your Lord and Savior. Perhaps you even went forward at a Church altar call. But since that time you have wandered away from the faith.
--My friend, no one is ever outside of the saving grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. You need only to repent of your waywardness, and confess your need of forgiveness.
"If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness." (1 John 1:9)
--Getting Back on Course
--2 Peter 3:17-18
--"Therefore, dear friends, since you already know this, be on your guard so that you may not be carried away by the error of lawless men and fall from your secure position. But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be glory both now and forever!" Amen.
No matter how far away from God you have drifted, you're always welcome back. That's the lesson from Jesus' parable about the prodigal son--the foolish boy who followed a pleasure-filled path to ruin before returning to his father and finding redemption (Luke 15:11-32). Perhaps ruin has not yet come to you, but you know that your heart has grown cool to the things of God. Whatever your drifting story, make this the day that you point yourself back to the Lord.
You need to give yourself to God by acknowledging, I surrender my entire life to You now. When something comes up that runs counter to His plan and you consider pursuing it, the Holy Spirit will remind you that you are not your own. Jesus Christ has already paid your sin-debt on the Cross. Come to the Father, He loves you so much, He gave His Son Jesus to die in your place. "Without the shedding of blood, there is no forgiveness of sin."
Peter gives a warning to be on guard against attitudes and ideologies that would carry you away from truth (2 Peter 3:17).
Instead, choose to paddle your lifeboat toward the Lord by meditating on Scripture, praying, and living obediently. Practicing the spiritual disciplines keeps a heart warm toward God. Jesus loves you!
--GOOD NEWS/INTERNET EVANGELISM
----------
star --SIGNS OF THE TIMES!
-Signs of the times are everywhere. When it comes to Bible prophecy there could be no truer statement. The signs of Christ's return mount with each passing day.
-A SEARCHLIGHT SCANS the globe, revealing world crises everywhere from the U.S-Mexican border to the deadly Ebola virus that terrorizes West Africa. From Russian attacks on Ukraine to a Malaysian airplane that mysteriously disappears. Turmoil that has simmered in the middle East since the beginning of time now escalates, Iraq and Syria are disintegrating in sectarian violence: Muslims killing Muslims, Muslims killing Christians.
What is the answer to the chaos? Who can save us? From nation, to nation, we search for someone to lead us out of the stranglehold. God's Laser Beam points to the truth: "And there will be signs...on the earth, distress on of nations, with perplexity,...men's hearts failing them from fear and the expectation of those things which are coming on the earth, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken" (Luke 21:25-26).
I find myself opening the Bible to read the psalmist's question: "Why do the nations rage against God?" (Psalm 2:1). Throughout Scripture the answer is given: the heart of man is evil and wicked (Jeremiah 17:9). Turning to the Lord is man's only hope.
This is why the Lord permits events such as we witness to continue--to draw people to Him. He desires His creation to repent of wickedness and rebellion against Him. Out of His great love and grace He says: "Return to Me, with all your heart" (Joel 2:12). The Bible--the operating manual for life--can guide one to always do the right thing in the eyes of God. Instead, God's Word is relegated to the library of antiquity. Why? Political powers vie for dominance. Man's heart wants to triumph over God instead of bowing before Him and doing His will.
"'Behold the days are coming,' says the Lord God, 'that I will send a famine on the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the Lord. They shall wander from sea to sea, and from north to east; they shall run to and fro, seeking the word of the Lord, but shall not find it'" (Amos 8:11-12).
The Bible tells us what to do when we see these events unfold: "Now when these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near" (Luke 21:28).
The return of the Lord Jesus is coming, and those who follow Christ should be in a perpetual state of expectation, obediently declaring that Jesus came to save the world from the dominance of Satan's hold of human hearts. To wring our hands in despair will not lead anyone out of this world's bondage and into the peace that God desires for His people
Salvation is offered to every person who will believe by faith that Jesus Christ will save them out of their sin and put His Spirit within them. There is hope in times of war, famine and great peril. Don't look to governments for the answers. Don't depend on technology to help you maneuver through life's uncertainties. Look to Jesus and know that the signs of the times should lead us to Him.
"Let all the earth fear the Lord; let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of Him...The Lord brings the counsel of the nations to nothing; He makes the plans of the people of no effect. The counsel of the Lord stands forever...blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord." (Psalm 33:8-12)~~
--WHO IS JESUS?
How you can have a personal relationship with Him. Do you think you are too far past the Lord's forgiveness? Please read on:
----Who is Jesus
Psychologists have long known that every person has two great longings and inward needs. The first is to be loved, and the second is to love. But when pressures and heartaches come into our lives, many give up any hope of ever finding love.
The tragedy is that we often look in the wrong places to fill this deep, deep need and longing. Some substitute lust for love. Others pursue material things or superficial relationships - all in the futile attempt to fill a God-shaped vacuum in the human heart.
But there is good news! There is a love worth finding and a love worth sharing. The Bible says, "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life" (John 3:16). cross On the Cross of Christ, God's mighty love was revealed and offered unconditionally to all who would be saved.
Do you long to know this mighty love? Then I need to ask you the most important question you'll ever be asked: Do you know beyond a shadow of a doubt that God loves you, that your sins are forgiven, and that you are saved and on your way to heaven?
The great news is, you can know! Let me share with you how to discover the greatest love worth finding.
Admit Your Sin
First, you must admit that you are a sinner. The Bible says, "There is none righteous, no, not one" (Romans 3:10). "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23).
It is our sin that separates us from God and from fulfilling our deepest needs and longings. Sin is an offense against God that carries a serious penalty. According to Romans 6:23, "The wages of sin is death [eternal separation from the love and mercy of God]."
Abandon Your Efforts
Second, you must abandon any efforts to save yourself. If we could save ourselves, Jesus' death would have been unnecessary!
Even "getting religion" cannot get you to heaven. The Bible says it is "not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His [God's] mercy He saved us" (Titus 3:5). Salvation is by God's grace, "not of works, lest any man should boast" (Ephesians 2:8-9).
Acknowledge Christ's Payment
What you cannot do for yourself, Jesus Christ has done for you! "But God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8). He died on the cross for you and then rose from the dead to prove that His payment was acceptable to God. But you must acknowledge and believe this fact. "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved" (Acts 16:31).
Accept Christ as Your Savior
Salvation is God's gift to you. "The gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 6:23). When someone offers you a priceless gift, the wisest thing you can do is accept it! This very moment, you can receive Christ's gift of salvation by sincerely praying this simple prayer from your heart:
Dear God, I know that I am a sinner. I know that You love me and want to save me. Jesus, I believe You are the Son of God, who died on the cross to pay for my sins. I believe God raised You from the dead. I now turn from my sin and, by faith, receive You as my personal Lord and Savior. Come into my heart, forgive my sins, and save me, Lord Jesus. In Your name I pray, Amen.
Friend, if you have not yet made a decision for Christ, I urge you to receive Him today. You'll be eternally glad to know the love worth finding!
Please write to us at Love Worth Finding to let us know of your decision. We want to rejoice with you and send you some literature to help you get started in your Christian life.
- star --A MERCIFUL DELAY ~
-BIBLE MEDITATION:
“The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.” 2 Peter 3:9
--DEVOTIONAL THOUGHT:
Have you ever wondered why Jesus has not yet returned? I’ll tell you why. Because our Lord is waiting on people to be saved. He’s waiting on your family member, your neighbor, your co-worker, or maybe you, but one of these days soon, and very soon perhaps, Jesus will come.
You see, it is the mercy of God that holds back the Second Coming of Jesus, but the justice of God and the judgment of God require that one day He will come.
Even now, the raging waters of God’s wrath are furiously pounding against the dam of His mercy. And one of these days, the dam of God’s mercy will give way to God’s judgment, and the day of the Lord will come. Our Lord is coming!
--ACTION POINT:
-Does the Lord’s return make your heart beat faster because you anticipate His coming or dread His coming? We serve Jehovah God, He can not lie!
-- CHRIST, THE GREAT INTERCESSOR/JESUS IS PRAYING FOR US, HIS PEOPLE~
--John 17:6-19 (Please read all of this)
'My prayer is not that you take them out of the world but that you protect them from the evil one. They are not of the world, even as I am not of it." (John 17:15-16)
Jesus was, and is, always praying that His Church (believers), may be kept pure. He prayed for Unity of the Church and The Exaltation of the Church.
Be blessed by listening to this awesome song, "HOLY" by Matt Gilman.
--WHAT MUST I DO TO BE SAVED?
--ACCEPTING OUR INHERITANCE ~~
--(Ephesians 1:11-22)
-Are you a child of God's, have you accepted His 'free gift' of salvation, through the death of His Son, Jesus Christ, 2,000 years ago on the Cross of Calvary?
-Galatians 4:7 tells us that believers are God's heirs. First among our priceless treasures is a living hope in Jesus Christ that cannot be taken away (1 Peter 1:3-4). bible What's more, He pledged to supply our needs according to His riches (Phil 4:19). In other words, we already have all that we need for an abundant life and victorious life in Christ. No, it is not an easy road to travel. It was not easy for Jesus, should we expect it to be easier? NO!
Some folks get stuck in spiritually poverty because they refuse to view themselves as adopted children. Failing to tap into their inheritance, they wander through this big angry world, hoping to hold on to their meager scrap of faith until they're lucky enough to die and go to Heaven. If we live like this, of course we miss the blessings available in this life, because we're not looking for Him.
We, Christians, must look at ourselves through the eyes of Jesus. God gives all believers the pledge of an inheritance out of the unsurpassed riches of His infinite grace. We are spiritually rich citizens of Heaven who have nothing to fear in this world.
BUT we must 'CHOOSE' to live boldly for Christ.
Some churches teach you must work out your salvation. Some teach you must do penance, fasting, baptism, Church membership, Gifts to charity, Keeping the Ten Commandments, etc, etc. No, No, No! Christ has already paid for our 'gift of salvation', by dying a brutal, horrible death on the Cross. "Without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness of sin." JESUS PAID OUR SIN DEBT! If we accept his 'free gift', we will live with Him forever.
Ephesians 2:8-9 / "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith--and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God, not of works so that no one can boast."
--WE ONLY RECEIVE HIS GIFT OF ETERNAL LIFE BY RECEIVING HIM INTO OUR LIVES AS LORD AND SAVIOR, REPENTING OF OUR SINS. THEN HE GIVES US THE 'FREE GIFT' OF HIS GRACE, ETERNAL LIFE!
--JESUS LOVES YOU. JUST LIKE YOU ARE, BUT HE REFUSES TO LEAVE YOU IN YOUR SINFUL LIFESTYLE. HE WANTS YOU TO BECOME JUST LIKE HIM. YOU CAN CHANGE FROM A LIFE OF SIN, TO A LIFE OF FREEDOM IN CHRIST, BY SAYING A SIMPLE PRAYER, AND CONFESSING YOUR NEED FOR CHRIST AS YOUR SAVIOR, ASKING FORGIVENESS OF YOUR SINS, AND ACCEPTING HIS 'FREE GIFT' OF ETERNAL LIFE. PLEASE COME TO JESUS TODAY.
"Let the wicked forsake his way,
And the unrighteous man his thoughts;
Let him return to the LORD,
And He will have mercy on him;
And to our God,
For He will abundantly pardon."
--(Isaiah 55:7)
--"I, even I, am He who blots out your transgressions for my own sake;
And I will not remember your sins."
--(Isaiah 43:25)
--"Come now, and let us reason together," says the LORD,
Though your sins are like scarlet;
They shall be as white as snow;
Though they are red like crimson,
They shall be as white as wool."
--(Isaiah 1:18)
--We all were born into sin. That is the natural birth. Because Adam and Eve fell, the closes to the Father was lost, until He sent His Son to die in our place. "Without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness of sins." JESUS PAID OUR SIN-DEBT!
---You Were Made to Know God
--Deep down, there’s a place within each of us that is made for one thing—a relationship with God. No matter how hard we try to cover it up or fill it with something else, we will never be satisfied.
Our hearts will remain restless until they find their Home with God. That deep, hidden part of you is there, even if you haven’t realized it until now.
**God Wants to Give You a Better Life.-- bible
But unfortunately, there’s a problem. A barrier exists between God and humankind. It’s called sin—a word that refers to all the ways we fall short of God’s design for humanity.
When the first human beings rebelled against God, sin became a part of the human condition. It has been passed on like a hereditary disease from ancestor to ancestor, all the way down the line to us today.
In the Bible, Romans 3:23 says, “Everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard.” And in Romans 6:23, we learn “the wages of sin is death.”*
In other words, all people need to be brought “back from the dead” spiritually. But there’s nothing we can do to remove this barrier of death on our own. No amount of good deeds on our part can change our eternal status.
**God Isn't Mad at You. God loves you!
Even though we sin, God doesn’t begrudge us our lives. In His kindness and mercy, He sustains us—blessing us even when we don’t know it—so we can eventually find the way back to Him. But if we don’t seek Him and His ways, or if we choose to reject Him, our spiritual deaths will be permanent.
We will live apart from God and His goodness in eternity after we physically die. The Bible tells us that eternal life apart from God is to live in darkness, with no hope, no joy, and no love, forever.
--God is Love, and His Rescue Plan Proves It
God doesn’t want anyone to experience permanent death (2 Peter 3:9). He loved us so much that He devised a plan to free us from the grasp of sin and provide forgiveness for all time.
In the Bible, John 3:16 says, “God loved the world so much that he gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.”
Before time began, God has existed in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. There is no division between these three Persons. Though it’s difficult for us to understand, they are one God.
-Jesus Christ is God’s Son, and He is also God. We accept this by faith and by the words in Scripture. We serve a Triune God= God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit
So when the Bible says, “God loved the world so much that he gave his one and only Son,” we see that God really gave Himself.
God knew that we needed to be rescued. He loved us so much that He devised a plan to free us from the grasp of sin and provide forgiveness for all time.
---Jesus Christ is God's Rescue Plan
Because humanity failed to live according to God’s standard and had fallen into spiritual death, Jesus humbled Himself and came to earth to live as a man. He lived a sinless life and performed many miracles. But the world rejected Him and crucified Him on a Cross.
He died on that Cross and was buried in a tomb, but three days later, He rose from the grave. Jesus is alive right now!
What the world didn’t realize was that dying on the Cross was Jesus’ plan all along. Through His death and resurrection, He removed the barrier between humankind and God. Because He was also God, Jesus conquered sin and death on our behalf so we could truly live.
**God is Ready to Welcome You
Jesus’ victory on the Cross was for everyone, including you. He offers salvation from sin and death to all people as a 'free gift', but He asks that we give Him our lives in return. How can we do this? By believing in Him, turning from our sins, and asking Him to be the Lord—the ruler and guide—of our lives.
-Romans 10:9 says, “If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.”
Remember, God is love. He loves you more than anyone else ever has or ever could. In giving your life to Him, you invite His love into every aspect of who you are. His love is transforming, and His forgiveness is complete.
God will transform you and make you a new person in Him. You will find the joy-filled life you’ve always longed to have.
---**God already knows everything. Come as you are.
There’s no need to put off receiving God’s gift of salvation. You don’t need to clean yourself up first, start behaving better, or anything of the sort before you can become a follower of Jesus. You can take the first step right now.
Open your heart to God and receive Him. He’s ready to receive you. You can pray the following prayer or use your own words.
-"Lord Jesus, I believe You are truly the Son of God. I confess that I have sinned against You in thought, word, and deed. Please forgive me. Help me to live in relationship you You from now on. I receive You as my Savior and recognize that the work You accomplished once for all on the Cross was done on my behalf. Thank You for saving me. Help me to live a life that is pleasing to You. Amen~~
--Have you ever wondered, "Does the Resurrection of Christ Matter?
--Read: Acts 2:22-24
---
--Believing that the Lord Jesus Christ rose from the dead is essential for Christians. Merely recognizing that He died for our sins is not enough; we must accept His resurrection in order to receive eternal life. Christ paid our sin-debt, but His sacrifice on the Cross means nothing unless He possesses power over the grave. In vanquishing evil and death, the Lord made our salvation possible.
Jesus' resurrection proved He was able to remove sin and its penalty. Assuming Christ remained dead would mean accepting the opposite--that believers are still in sin. And the inevitable end of a sinful life is death. Consequently, a person who denies Christ's eternal nature looks toward a void future.
Resurrection is not a denominational issue or a point for theological debate. Either we believe Christ rose from the dead and ascended to Heaven or we do not. If we reject His victory over the grave, we deny ourselves a place in eternity. But if we accept the truth, we will be saved.
Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me." There is no other way to reach Jehovah God. The Father had to turn His face away from Jesus when He died on the Cross. Why? Because our Holy, Righteous, and Just- ELOHIM, Jehovah YAHWEH (YHWH), can not look on sin.
Jesus literally took all the sins of the entire world upon His shoulders when He died on Calvary. Why? Because He loves you so much that He died to save you. That's how much JESUS TRULY LOVES YOU!
Each person is responsible for their own salvation. We can not earn it by good works, nor can we buy it with giving money to the Church or do good services. Prayers, Fasting, Baptism, Holy Communion, Born of Christian parents, Penance, Confirmation, etc, etc......NONE OF THESE CAN SAVE YOU.
"There is no other Name given among men whereby we must be saved." JESUS CHRIST IS THE SIN-BEARER. HE ALONE SAVES!
--JESUS, THE BRIDGE SPANNING THE GREAT DIVIDE ~~
--“And that He might reconcile both unto God in one body by the Cross, having slain the enmity thereby.”
---Ephesians 2:16 ~~ bible
-Up in heaven is the holy God.
-Down below is the sinful man.
-And sin is the dividing rod that separates.
--Without God, man has an empty void in his life he knows he must fill, so man is constantly trying to reach God. But he keeps rebounding off the sin barrier.
Then God, moved in mercy by the pitiful plight of sinful man, said, “I will do something.”
God sent His Son, the Lord Jesus, to make a way. And upon the rough-hewn timbers of a Cross, Jesus gave His life so you and I could live forever and live forgiven. Jesus built a bridge between man and God. cross It’s a bridge man could never build. And a bridge that man can never take away.
God made a way that we couldn’t make . . . for me . . . and for you.
-Since Jesus built a bridge of love for you to be reconciled to God, it’s your turn to build a bridge of love to someone who is lost and searching.
--Life Lessons Study Bible/ML
----------
--We all need to be 'saved' from the deadly sin that we automatically inherited when we were born into this world. That is referred to as the 'new-birth', or 'being born again, by the Spirit of God.'
The Bible speaks of only ONE way to be prepared to meet God, and that is to be SAVED.
"...we must be saved." (Acts 4:12)
That word may seem out of place in many churches, but it is found dozens of times in the Bible.
--SAVED!! From what??
"Much more then, being now justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him." (Romans 5:9)~
-SAVED!! By Whom?
"For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved." --(John 3:17)
The Lord Jesus Christ, God in the flesh, who died for our sins and rose again, is the only One who can save from sin. (see Acts 16:31/ 1 Corinthians 15:1-3/ Romans 5:8/ Isaiah 43:11)
--SAVED!! HOW?
"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God, not of works so that no man may boast." -(Ephesians 2:8-9)
"For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." (Romans 10:13)
Man seeks to reach God through religion, good works, sincerity, New Age, Karma, Buddha, and many other (so called) 'ways to find peace'. The Bible tells us that 'Jesus is the Prince of Peace.' So therefore, He is the only way to have peace. He also said, "I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me." (John 14:6)
--SAVED!!! WHEN?
"...behold, now is the day of salvation."
-- (2 Corinthians 6:2)
One is saved by confessing to God that he has sinned and receiving Jesus Christ into his heart as Lord and Savior. Jesus said, "No one knows the day or hour the Son of Man will come." We must be ready at all times!
~~~~~~~~~
--You Might Pray something like this, or whatever the Lord puts on your heart....
'Lord, I confess that I am a sinner. I need You to save my lost soul. I believe that Jesus Christ died for my sins. Thank You, Jesus for paying my sin-debt by dying on the Cross. Help me to live for You. Come into my heart and life, in Christ Jesus Name.' amen~~

Please find a Bible believing Church and go, so you can grow by faith in His Word. Read your Bible, praying firstly to ask Jesus to open your spiritual eyes. He never turns away a sincere seeker. Jesus loves you! Come, come to the Father today. 'The angels in Heaven rejoice over one sinner who repents.' horray Praise the Lord!

---THE FORGIVENESS OF THE KING

--“Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered.” - bible Romans 4:7

--There was a king who asked slaves on a ship, “Why are you in chains?” One replied, “I don’t know. I was in a crowd when a crime was committed. I am innocent.”
He asked another who said, “I am not guilty, but am a victim of false witnesses.” The king proceeded to ask each man the same question and each had a reason why he was innocent.
That is, until one man responded, “I am here because I deserve to be here. I have sinned against my God and against my king. And now I am paying the penalty.”

The king stepped back and said, “What are you doing here among so many honest men? Guards, release him!”

Not until we admit our sin are we going to know the mercy and the forgiveness of the King. Bow before Him today and admit you are lost without Him.
--Adrian Rogers~~

-'If we confess our sins He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and cleanse (purify) us from all unrighteousness.' (1 John 1:9) bible

-------
--The Bible says, "All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." That's right, ALL of us are sinners. A Holy, Righteous, and Just God can not live in the presence of sin. He is the Creator of the Universe.(read Colossians 1:8-18), 'The Preeminence of Christ.'

Friend, Jesus Christ has already paid your sin-debt on that Cross cross 2,000 years ago. All He asks for you to do, is confess your sins, ask Him to forgive you, believe that Jesus is God, in human flesh. (The Bible tells us this.) He died on that Cross to defeat the devil. He is ALIVE! Jesus came up out of that grave 3 days later. Many women and disciples confirmed this, as witnesses. Christ is standing at your heart's door right now, asking, "Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If you will open the door and let me in I will come in and dine with you. I will forgive your sins and lead you in the way everlasting."
----
--HAVE YOU PUT YOUR FAITH IN JESUS CHRIST?

--You can accept Christ today. You say, "What do I have to do?" You must first turn away from your sins.
Second, you must receive Him as your Lord and Savior. You can do it now, and He will bring the peace and the joy of Christ to your heart and transform your life. You can have a whole new life if you will surrender to Christ.

-Start by saying a prayer. Simply talk to God. Something like this....or your own words:

"O God, I am a sinner. I'm sorry for my sin. I want to turn from my sin. I believe Jesus Christ is Your Son; I believe He died on the Cross for my sin and You raised Him to life. I choose to trust Him as my Savior and follow Him as my Lord from this day forward, forevermore. Lord, I put my trust in You and surrender my life to You. Please come into my life and fill me with Your Holy Spirit, in Jesus' Name."

--Welcome!
---- roseinbloom
-Thank you for coming to visit, read, relax and meditate on 'God's Words for YOU'. That's right, the Bible is a 'Love Letter Written From God' to each person, individually.

Please take time and listen to this, 'God's Love Letter For You.' As you listen you might like to read along in your Bible. There will be extra special 'words' that speak especially for you at this time in your life.

Because God is omniscient, omnipotent, omnipresent, love, veracity, He is at the same time, and HOLY, JUST, and RIGHTEOUSNESS. He is Creator of the entire Universe. He is knocking on your heart's door, asking if He may come in and dine with you and become Your Shepherd. A Shepherd always takes care of His sheep. In PSALM 23 you read of this analogy.
Now, please sit back, relax, and listen to your special 'Love Letter, from Jehovah YAHWEH, YHWH.' HE LOVES YOU!

--Love the Lord Your God

--Christ gave His followers some directions. He said, "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind." And "love your neighbor as yourself" (Matt. 22:37-39).

When we believe in Him and come to Him, He shows us the way to live. The One who made us knows far better than we do how life is supposed to work.

By choosing to live in relationship with Jesus Christ, we're no longer slaves to the way of life that ends in spiritual death--eternal separation from God and His lovingkindness. Through Him alone, we can experience freedom and joy. But to be saved, we must confess from our heart that Jesus is Lord, believing that He rose from the dead and is alive today (Romans 10:9-10).

You can have eternal life now by asking Jesus to become your Savior.
Pray a prayer like this or use your own words:

'Lord Jesus, I believe you died so that I might be accepted as a child of God. Please forgive me, help me turn from my sins, and show me how to follow You each and every day. Thank You for saving me and giving me eternal life. Amen~ prayer '

--Abandoning the Self-Life ~~

--THE BELIEVER'S SELF-LIFE is composed of the habits, attitudes, and relationships he or she is unwilling to surrender. Keeping those things from the Lord gives us a sense of independence--highly prized in our current culture. However, by following the "self," we interfere with God's purpose. He wants every aspect of our lives to be submitted to His will.

Walking in full obedience to the Lord is the only true liberty. Believers, and unbelievers, have to make the choice to follow in His steps. He wants a surrendered heart. He doesn't want robots. That is why He gives us 'free will.'

Come to Jesus just as you are. Don't wait until you 'get better', or 'have time to think about it'. No one knows the day or hour when the Son of God will return. If He came right now, would you make it into Heaven? Do you know what it means to be saved? Saved from sin, the world and the devil. You can not do this on your own. The whole world is under control of the evil one. (1 John 5:19)

Jesus has already paid our sin-debt. It's up to each one of us to accept His 'free gift' of salvation. He offers you eternal life! Please don't turn Him away. He loves you with an everlasting love and underneath are his everlasting arms."

'Wherever you've been. Whatever you've done, come as you are in His open arms.' Jesus loves you so much. He died for 'you'. Take the Bible as a personal love letter, because that is what it is. --Hello and Welcome! bible

-Jesus loves you with an everlasting love and underneath are His everlasting arms. He stands at your heart's door, knocking and asking if you will allow Him to come in. He wants you to have....

--- A RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD~~

--INTIMATE RELATIONSHIPS ARE CHARACTERIZED by a close connection to another person and a commitment to his or her well-being. Acquaintances have superficial information about us, but true friends know our deeper emotions, thoughts and desires.

God, who is perfect and holy, has always desired such a personal relationship with man, but human sinfulness made that seem impossible. We all have rebelled against God's perfect authority and deserve death (Romans 3:23; 6:23). But more than that, we were all born with a corrupt nature inherited from Adam (5:12), and neither good works nor moral values can overcome it.

God alone could remedy the situation. His solution is to change our nature so we can be a part of His family. Nonetheless, divine justice must still be satisfied, and only a perfect sacrifice can pay for our sins (Deut. 17:1). God requires the death of someone without a sin nature as the payment for our debt. Throughout history, only One qualified: Jesus, the perfect God-man, who gave His life so we could have a relationship with the Father. Our friendship with God came at a very high price to Him--the death of His beloved Son.

The Father has done everything necessary for us to be in His family and experience intimacy with Him. Have you entered into a relationship with Him through the saving work of His Son? If not, make today your spiritual birthday by receiving Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior. This Christmas season, discover the gifts of freedom, satisfaction, and joy found only in Him. Jesus paid our sin-debt by dying on the Cross, so we can 'be free' to choose to follow Him. Won't you come?

----WHO AM I?
--When You Have Jesus~~

--HAVE YOU EVER NOTICED that the world is quick to offer us a variety of ways to solve our problems and meet our needs? Advertisements promise their products will make our life better. Advice for any situation is readily available from magazines, books, the Internet, and well-meaning friends. Some of it may be good, but we must be careful not to fall for the worldly philosophies that teach us to be self-reliant rather than God-dependent.

The Lord Jesus has promised to meet the needs of His children, but in His way and time. When our needs seem pressing, however, we may be tempted to seek quick fixes. We must remember who Christ is and what He has promised. In (John 8:12), Jesus said, "I am the Light of the world; he who follows Me will not walk in darkness." When you feel you're stumbling in the dark, remember that you have the Light of the World living inside of you through the Holy Spirit. [That is speaking to believers, people who have been 'born-again' (John 3:5-6).]
'See the bottom for 'HOW TO BECOME A CHRISTIAN'.

Jesus also said, "I am the good Shepherd, and I know My own and My own know Me" (10:14). A shepherd is the sheep's provider, protector, and guide. Christ always does what's best for us, His sheep.

Whatever your need, Jesus will meet it. He'll give you strength to resist temptation, a sense of purpose that gives your life meaning, and His unfailing love, whatever you encounter. As we walk through this earthly life, we need the Lord's guidance. Please, if you have not yet done so, 'Call on the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved.' (Acts 2:21). Jesus has already paid your sin debt by dying on the Cross and defeating Satan. He is coming again, soon. We must "Be ye ready at all times, for no one knows the day or hour the Son of Man will return." (Matthew 24:42)

--The story of God and humankind begins with a broken relationship. When sin entered the human race, it severed our communion--our unhindered connection--with holy God. Today, our personal sins continue to be a barrier between us and Him. But the Bible tells us that "God is love" (1 John 4:8). In fact, He loves us so much that He sent His Son to reconcile us to Himself. On the Cross, Jesus defeated sin and then rose from the grave, triumphing over death.( Colossians 1:18-22) JESUS IS ALIVE NOW!

~ amen~~]

--There are so many religions in this old world. That is where people miss Jesus. Jesus is not one of the ways to Father God. No, Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me." -(JOHN 14:6) Jesus is the only way to Father God.~~

In this fallen world, since the 'Garden of Eden', we all are sinners in need of Jehovah God's forgiveness. The Bible says, "There is none good, no not one." The Ten Commandments were given by Jehovah God to Moses. He wrote them down for all mankind to 'know' the requirements of the Father. Jehovah God is Holy, Just, and Righteous. He can not exist in darkness, 'SIN'. "Without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness of sins." (Hebrews 9:22)

You will never find a 'perfect' person. Jesus Christ was the only Person who ever lived that never sinned. You may ask, 'How can that possibly be?' Because Jesus came to earth in flesh, straight from Jehovah God, the 'God-Man'. The Father cloaked himself in flesh, to show us the way to Heaven.

We accept this (salvation), by faith, once we 'come as a little child', and accept His 'free gift'. Jesus died on the Cross to forgive the sins of all people. (John 3:16) That does not mean all 'cultures'. It means each individual person, must accept this 'free gift' personally. Most of us have heard the expression, "Nothing is for free." Friend, it was not free for Jesus. He had to die a very painful, brutal death to take upon himself the sins of the whole world. No one else could do this, because we are all sinners. The price for sin is blood, we read in the Old Testament. The first blood sacrifice was when Adam and Eve sinned by disobeying God. They sewed together fig leaves to cover their naked bodies. They never even knew they were 'naked' until their eyes were opened to 'know the difference between good and evil.'
Our Lord called out to them in the Garden but they hid themselves, they were scared. Of course the Father knew exactly where they were.
The shedding of blood for the forgiveness of sin was done by the Father, as he covered Adam and Eve with garments of skin, from animals (see Genesis Chapter 3).

star Friend, the LORD does not want a 'religious person'. He wants a personal relationship with each person.
Please read the message below by Pastor Charles Stanley, of IN TOUCH ministries. JESUS LOVES YOU!
-----

--The God Who Forgives
---(Please read: Matthew 6:9-13)

--Jesus gave His followers a pattern for prayer that includes seeking forgiveness every day. The invitation to regular repentance is not a means of renewing our salvation, but rather a maintenance plan for our fellowship with the Lord.

The Lord’s substitutionary payment for our transgressions means that we can look forward to an eternity spent in God’s presence instead of getting the punishment we deserve. When we trust Jesus as our Savior, our sins are forgiven forever—the stains from our past, present, and future wrongs are wiped from our record. The tendency to sin, however, remains part of the human experience, though its influence decreases the more we’re conformed to Christ’s image.

With the exception of Jesus Christ, no person is perfect, so while on earth, we will all continue to deal with sin and its consequences. The Lord’s admonition to seek daily forgiveness is a reminder to confess our sins and turn away from them because we are forgiven.

God’s grace is not a license to sin; instead, it’s a reason to continuously pursue righteousness. Bad attitudes, thoughtless actions, and unkind speech do not fit who we are as children of God. We’re new creatures in Christ; we were bought for a price and set free to live as partakers of His grace.

Salvation makes a way for us to enter God’s presence, while regular confession and repentance keep the pathway well maintained and free of obstruction (1 John 1:9). A saint will tap into God’s forgiveness every day of his or her life.

--Blessings, and thank you for coming to visit the 'Good News/ Internet Evangelism' forum.

Jesus loves you with an everlasting love and underneath are His everlasting arms.
You may have heard some people say, "I don't want to be tied down to a religion with rules and regulations."

Jesus is offering you eternal life by accepting His free-gift of salvation. Following Jesus is not rules, it's LOVE. 'We love Him because He first loved us and gave himself to die so we might be saved.' bible
It is not easy being a Christian. It wasn't easy for Jesus, as He died that horrifying, brutal death on the Cross. But He knew if He did not pay our sin-debt, we could not ever make it to Heaven. "Without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness of sin."
And that payment had to be pure, untainted and spotless. Jesus never sinned. NEVER! Yet, He died to allow us a sure path to spend eternity with Him, if we accept His 'free-gift' of salvation. Say 'Yes', to Jesus and have eternal life in Heaven.

Life's path is often difficult. So if we expect that God will always give us an easy road, we may be tempted to turn our back on Him when the terrain gets tough.

If you've ever considered doing that, think about the people of Israel. When they were given freedom from the Egyptians after hundreds of years of bondage, they took off for the Promised Land. But God didn't send them straight home. He "did not lead them on the road through the Philistine country, though that was shorter" (EXODUS 13:17). Instead He sent them on the hard road through the desert.

God used that time in the desert to instruct and mature the people He had called to follow Him. The easy road would have led them to disaster. The long road prepared the nation of Israel for their successful entry into the Promised Land.

Our God is faithful, and we can trust Him to lead us and care for us no matter what we face. We may not understand the reason for the path we are on, but we can trust Him to help us grow in faith and maturity along the way.~~

"Lord, we cannot see the path ahead, so we must trust that the way is right and that it is the best road for us to take. Please encourage us, and teach us as we let You direct our path. I give my life to You, please carry me through this brief life, so I can spend eternity with you. I repent of my sins, and confess that I need You to help me, in Jesus Name. amen~"

----THE WICKEDNESS OF UNBELIEF~~

“And thou shalt stone him with stones, that he die; because he hath sought to thrust thee away from the LORD thy God, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage. And all Israel shall hear, and fear, and shall do no more any such wickedness as this is among you.” (Deuteronomy 13:10-11) bible

In context, this “wickedness” was the crime of rejecting and influencing others to reject the Lord.
While this is not a capital crime in a Christian context, this passage does show how God feels about the sin of unbelief—especially trying to persuade others into unbelief—in the infinite love and sacrifice of Christ who suffered and died for their sins. “He that despised Moses’ law died without mercy under two or three witnesses: Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?” (Hebrews 10:28-29).

Unbelief in Christ is, in fact, the only sin which God cannot forgive, and thus is the most wicked sin of all.

Christ died for all our sins, and thus will provide full forgiveness for all who will accept His gift of salvation. Christ Himself said: “He that believes on him is not condemned: but he that believes not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God” (John 3:18).

One of the final words of the Bible warns: “But the fearful, and unbelieving . . . shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone: which is the second death” (Revelation 21:8). The Lord Jesus is speaking of those who have spurned His sacrificial love. It may seem a light thing in our modern society to ignore or reject Him, but it will eventually prove “a fearful thing” (Hebrews 10:31) to face Him in judgment.

---DO YOU KNOW THE WILL OF GOD?

--BIBLE MEDITATION:
“For whosoever shall do the will of God, the same is My brother, and My sister, and mother.”
--(Mark 3:35) bible

--DEVOTIONAL THOUGHT:
--Major Ian Thomas, English author and founder of a worldwide missionary fellowship, once wrote, “Which of these things in the life of Jesus is more spiritual? When Jesus preached the Sermon on the Mount? When He raised Lazarus from the dead? When He washed His disciples’ feet? Or when He spat on the ground and made clay to anoint the blind man’s eyes?
None was more spiritual than the other. Jesus did not divide His life up into little segments of spirituality. He was simply available to do whatever His Father willed.”
The will of God is not a road map. It is a relationship! You just simply set yourself apart to do the will of God.

--ACTION POINT:
-Are you segregating your life into activities that are more spiritual than others? Surrender all you are to Him and make yourself available for whatever He calls you to do today.
--Adrian Rogers~~
[Friends, we are all on this earth to do the will of the Father, just like Jesus. The Lord inhabits the praises of his people. Give Him praise, honor, and glory. In doing those things you show Him how much you love Him. 'Holy, Holy, Holy is the Lord God Almighty who was and is to come.']

---A LIVING HOPE~~
----(Please Read/ 1 Peter 1:3-5)~~
---- bible

--BELIEVERS ARE BORN INTO A LIVING HOPE, whereas people without Christ have no foundation for their expectations and desires. Many non-Christians live with a false sense of security. They assume that what is important in this life is the physical and material. But there is no safety in things (1 Timothy 6:9) Those who pursue wealth and health rather than God find that their dreams either go unfulfilled or fail to satisfy.

Christians anchor their hope in the solid rock of Jesus Christ. His words are always true and His promises are never broken. I'll sometimes hear a person project his or her unfulfilled desires on God and then argue that He came up short. But believers who make a request and submit to God's will always get an answer: 'yes, no, or wait.'

The Lord does not disappoint those who seek His will. Don't misunderstand that statement. We might feel temporarily let down when something we hope for is not in God's plan. But He doesn't go back on the Biblical Promise to give His children what's best (Isaiah 48:17; 64:4). When one door closes, there is another about to open with something better behind it. And remember, the Lord cannot be outdone. We can't even wish ourselves as much good as God has in store.

The best choice a Christian can make is to fix his or her hope on the Lord Jesus Christ. Welcome whatever fits His will for your life, and turn away from all that does not. Circumstances may shift and change, but Jesus never does. He is our living hope who never disappoints. ~~

[Have you put your trust in the Lord Jesus Christ? By choosing to live in relationship with Jesus Christ, we're no longer slaves to the way of life that ends in spiritual death--eternal separation from God and His lovingkinkness. Through Him alone, we can experience freedom and joy. But to be saved, we must confess from our heart that Jesus is Lord, believing that He rose from the dead and is alive today (Romans 10:9-10).

--JESUS SAVES TO THE UTTERMOST~~

--Jesus is the only way to Jehovah God. Our problem is that we all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. We could not pay the sin-debt because we all are full of sin.

The sacrifice for all the sins was poured on Jesus Christ on the Cross at Calvary. cross Yes, he paid for all your sins, and mine as well. So, what must I do to go to Heaven?

You must be saved from the power of the enemy, Satan, who is the god of this world, until the Lord Jesus returns to gather us, (people/ believers) to live eternally with Him.

Father God had to look away from the Cross when Jesus willingly accepted all our sins, all the sins of the entire world were hanging on that Cross. Jesus was in such pain and agony, that He asked the Father, "Father, please let this cup pass from Me, nevertheless not my will but thy will be done."

But the Holy, Righteous, and Just Father God had to turn away. He could not even look at His Son in this crucial hour. The veil of the temple was rent (torn), in half. That veil was made of strong stones, and extremely high and wide. When the God-Man Jesus Christ, died, it was torn into. The skies turned pitch black, in the middle of the day!

The God-Man, Jesus Christ literally died. Many scoffed. Many just left the scene, and others said, "If He was the Son of God why did He not save himself from death?" Because without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness of sins. The blood had to pure, untainted, and holy. That is the description of Jesus Christ. He never told a lie, never sinned, and did not even have a place to lay His head.

I would recommend that you read the Gospel of JOHN in the New Testament and get to know Jesus. He wants to save you from Hell. He leaves that choice up to each person. Choose Heaven with Jesus eternally or Hell, with Satan and his demons. Hell is full of fire that can not be extinguished. It burns constantly day and night. The people in hell, cry out in such horrific pain. But the Bible tells us that even in this dreadful condition, they STILL WILL NOT REPENT! The devil has a hold-lock on them.

The below song, 'The King is Among Us' is true. God is omnipotent, omniscient, omnipresent, veracity and truth. He is in all places at the same time. Jehovah God is Creator. Listen in, WE NEED A REVIVAL! Please tell others about the Savior, Jesus Christ who takes away all sins, if we just ask Him to forgive us, confess our sins, and ask Jesus, God in Human Flesh, to forgive us and take us and use us for His glory. His love is victorious. Revival is rising in His Name. Let's all be part of this great revival. After you are saved you will want to turn away from the enemy. You will want to live for Jesus without sin. He will help you. HE LOVES YOU! Please read the book of Romans chapter 10 verses 9-10 in your Bible. Be assured of your eternity.

"You are loved with an everlasting love and underneath are His everlasting arms. bible Jesus is for us, YOU! Call on the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved." [The singers are Elevation Worship.]

--DO YOU HAVE A SAVING FAITH?

--(Please Read/ Matthew 7:13-29) bible
----
--THE GREATEST TRAGEDY
that can befall someone is to think he's saved, only to discover after death that he isn't. We'd all like to believe the claims of those who say they're Christians, but Jesus gives a harsh warning because He knows many will be deceived.
They will sit in churches week after week, professing that Jesus is the Son of God, but won't ever really enter into a personal relationship with Him.

-Intellectual faith isn't the same as saving faith. It's not enough to know facts about Jesus or to believe He died and rose again. Even demons believe that (James 2:19). Salvation involves more than mere knowing. It requires trusting that Jesus Christ paid the penalty for your sin, receive His forgiveness, turning away from old sinful ways, and entering into a relationship with Him. What matters is not what we say with our mouth, but what we believe in our heart.

Although you probably won't understand all that happens at the moment of salvation, when Christ becomes your Savior, He also becomes your Lord. As the Master of your life, He then has a right to govern what you do. His Holy Spirit takes up residence within you when you are saved, and that means you will change--God's Spirit continually works to remove sinful attitudes and behaviors, replacing them with His spiritual fruit (Galatians 5:22 thru 23).

-We recognize a person's salvation not by his profession but by fruit, (spiritual fruit). If you are truly saved, your character will become more Christlike over time, and your desire will be to obey the Lord. This does not mean you'll never sin or stumble, but overall, your life will be characterized by obedience. You will have a hunger and thirst for righteousness. You will want to walk in Jesus' steps. God wants your entire life. He created it to give Him glory. / ('All For Love' (the Father Gave')/ Hillsong ~~

star ---THE KING'S CROWN HAS BECOME OUR CROWN OF LIFE! star

--'They...twisted
together a crown
of thorns and set it
on His head.'
--(Matthew 27:28-29)-- bible
-------
--There are many people and religions that teach there are many ways to the Cross, the only way to Heaven. That is totally false. According to Jesus, He said, "Without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness for sin." ~ "I am the way the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me." [JOHN 14:6]

"All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." ALL OF US ARE SINNERS. So how are we going to get into Heaven? The Good News is that Jesus has paid our sin-debt by dying on the Cross. Jesus freed us by dying 'for' us!

The crown of thorns that Jesus was made to wear was part of a cruel game the Roman soldiers played before He was crucified. They also dressed Him in a royal robe and gave Him a staff as a king's scepter, which they then used to beat Him. They mocked Him, saying, "Hail, King of the Jews!" (Matthew 27 verse 29), not realizing that their actions would be remembered thousands of years later. This was no ordinary king. He was the King of kings whose death, followed by His resurrection, gives us eternal life.

On Easter morning, we celebrate the gift of forgiveness and new life found only in accepting Jesus's 'free gift'. It wasn't free for Jesus. He had to die a cruel and brutal death to pay for your and my sins. He knew there was no other way for us to be saved from the wrath that is to come. Jesus willingly died so we can live eternally with Him. By way of the Cross, we are saved from hell.

-God has erased our sins and given us freedom and life forever in Him! We must accept His gift, believe that Jesus died for us, and confess and repent of our sins. He knows our hearts and our thoughts. He is the Creator of the entire Universe.

Won't you come to Jesus and know for certainty that you will live forever? He leaves that choice up to each individual. No one else can receive this gift for you. Do it today.
--Say a prayer like this, "Jesus, I confess and repent of my sins against You. Please accept my forgiveness and receive me into your Kingdom. As you told the man on the Cross, Barabbas "Today you will be with Me in Paradise." Jesus loves you so much that He died for you. "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved." Don't wait another day. You may not be here tomorrow. --'Loving My Jesus'/ By Casting Crowns <https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XZimWvoEnrU>

---DEDICATED TO LOVE ~~

-"My heart's desire
and prayer to God
for the Israelites is
that they may be saved."
--(Romans 10 verse 1)-- bible

--AS A CONVERT to Jesus Christ, Nabeel Qureshi has written books to help his readers understand the people in the religion he left.
His tone is respectful,and Qureshi always displays a heart of love for his people.

Qureshi dedicated one of his books to his sister, who has not yet put her faith in Jesus. The dedication is brief, but powerful. "I am begging God for the day that we can worship him together," he wrote.

We get a sense of that kind of love as we read Paul's letter to the church in Rome. "My heart is filled with bitter sorrow and unending grief," he said, "for my people, my Jewish brothers and sisters, I would be willing to be forever cursed--cut off from Christ!--if that would save them." (Romans 9 verse 2- NLT).

Paul loved the Jewish people so much that he would have chosen separation from God if only they would accept Christ. He understood that by rejecting Jesus, his people were rejecting the one true God. This motivated him to appeal to his readers to share the good news of Jesus with everyone. --(Romans 10: verses 14-15).)

Today, may we prayerfully dedicate ourselves to the love that aches for those close to us!~~

'Father, we ask You to fill our hearts with Your love for others. We hold _______up to You and beg for them to see the truth about Your Son Jesus Christ. Draw them to the Cross, so they can see Jesus hanging on that Cross just for each one of them to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth. "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved." --(Romans 16 verse 31)'

--WE MUST LOVE THOSE FOR WHOM CHRIST DIED AS WELL AS THOSE IN WHOM CHRIST LIVES. 'LOVE COVERS A MULTITUDE OF SINS.' ~~
(There is a brief advertisement before the song. Please be patient, it will be well worth the 40 second ad.)

--GOD HEARS ALL PRAYERS!

--The apostle Paul knew the power of prayer when he wrote to the people in the church of Corinth. He said he trusted that GOD would continue to deliver them from peril "as you help us by your prayers." (2 Corinthians 1:10-11)
And when God answered their prayers, He would be glorified as the people gave Him thanks for the "answer to prayers of many" (V 11) bible .

The apostle Paul's supporters were engaging in the ministry of intercession, which Oswald Chambers calls "a hidden ministry that brings forth fruit through which the Father is glorified." As we focus our minds and hearts on Jesus, we find Him shaping us, including how we pray. He enables us to give the gift of true intercession to friends, family members, and even strangers.

--We may not know each other, but GOD knows all about both of us. He is the Creator of the Universe. He is omnipotent, omnipresent, omniscient, immutable, and veracity. The Creator of all the Universe knows all about you. He loves you with an everlasting love and underneath are His everlasting arms. You can approach Him 24/7's. He always hears you and will answer as He knows is best for you. He is all powerful and knows all things, in all places at the same time, unchangeable, and total TRUTH. cross JESUS CHRIST said to all of us, "I am the way the truth and the life. no one comes to the Father except through Me." --(John 14:6).

Whatever is on your mind right now, He wants to hear from you. If you want to thank Him, do so. If you have a prayer request go to Him. Sickness? He is available to hear from you. He is Jehovah Ropha, the God that heals. He does what is best. Sometimes we don't know the overall picture, but if we exercise patience, He will answer.

**You can read in God's Word, the Holy Bible, all about Him. How to be saved from this corrupt sinful world. And how to become a sinner saved by GRACE. "There are none righteous, no not one." We all are sinners. That is why we need His saving forgiveness and grace.

-- star Romans Chapter 10 verses 9-10-/"That if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you shall be saved. For with the heart man believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."

"For whoever calls upon the Name of the Lord Jesus shall be saved."-(Romans 10: verse 13) Jesus died for YOU. The Bible is a Love Story to each person who will call on Jesus.

May the Lord richly bless you and bring you to the Cross. That is where Jesus was crucified for the sins of the entire world. "For God so loved the world that He gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him, shall not perish but have everlasting life."-- -(John 3:16)(You can adjust the volume of the song with speaker and slide the adjustment to suit your hearing.)
A Christian Group, Sanctus Real, sings a beautiful song, ENJOY! "PRAY".

--- star TODAY IS THE DAY~~~WE ARE NOT PROMISED TOMORROW + / star

-"If you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.
"WHOEVER WILL CALL ON THE NAME OF THE LORD WILL BE SAVED."
--(Romans 10:9,13)-- bible

---Sometimes we assume that if you attend church and even read devotionals like this that you have accepted Jesus as your Savior and Lord. I know that is not true, however. If you’ve never made the decision to let Jesus be Lord of your life, I’d encourage you to do that. The Bible says that if you will confess with your mouth and believe in your heart that Jesus is Lord, you will be saved.

-You don’t need a Pastor or a Priest to do that; you can do that wherever you are right now. God is the only one you need to please, so don’t worry about what people will say. Some of them will thank you because they have wanted to make the same decision but have been waiting for someone with courage to take the first step. You’ll change your life and open doors of possibility for all kinds of people. Don’t delay any longer; choose Jesus as Lord of your life.

**THINK ABOUT IT
-- fyi Today is the day of salvation. Would you like to respond to Jesus’ invitation today? Or could you help some one else choose Jesus as Lord?

**PRAYER
-"Heavenly Father, I am a sinner. I need a Savior. I believe Jesus is Your Son—that He died for my sins and was raised to life for my justification. Forgive me. I receive Jesus as both my Lord and my Savior. In His name I pray. Amen." prayer

---WORTH THE COST- / JESUS DIED TO SAVE YOU FROM SIN, SELF, AND SATAN!

--"I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile."
--(Romans 1:16 / NIV)-- bible

Human history is filled with examples of how we divide ourselves into various categories, but the Bible makes it very clear that the Gospel is the power of God for the salvation of everyone who will believe. At the foot of the Cross, the doorway to the Kingdom of God is open to everyone. It’s not about your standing in the community, your bank balance, your education, or the lack thereof. No one is excluded from God’s invitation.

--**If you will believe that Jesus of Nazareth is the Messiah, acknowledge Him as your Savior, and serve Him as your Lord and King, you can be a participant in the eternal Kingdom of God. Do not allow any message you hear or see to make you feel “less than” someone else in God’s Kingdom. We are different in many ways, but God sees each of His children as uniquely valuable and precious to Him.

**THINK ABOUT IT
The cost paid for something indicates the value the purchaser assigns to it. The cost God paid for you is Jesus’ shed blood and sacrifice on the cross. Every other standard of giving or diminishing value is not your true worth. Believe you are cherished.

**PRAYER
-"Heavenly Father, thank You that You include me in Your invitation to receive Jesus as Savior, Lord, and King. Because of Jesus I am called accepted, not outcast; chosen, not rejected. Thank You for affirming my worth to You. You have already paid my sin-debt. I accept You as my Lord and Savior. Please come into my life and help me to grow to be the person You want me to be. I will never be ashed of You. I give my life totally to You, Jehovah GOD. In Jesus’ name, amen.

*Blessings,
**Pastor Allen Jackson

-[We read in ROMANS Chapter 10:9-13 / THE WORD OF FAITH BRINGS SALVATION
---If you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved:
For with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation.
For the Scripture says, "WHOEVER BELIEVES IN HIM WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED [ASHAMED].
FOR WHOSOEVER WILL CALL ON THE NAME OF THE LORD WILL BE SAVED." (JOEL 2:32)

**Friend, if you have prayed a sincere prayer and asked the Lord Jesus to come into your heart, confessed your sin, repented, and truly believe Jesus is LORD and SAVIOR, then you are saved. We all are sinners saved only by [grace], Christ's sacrifice on the Cross, through FAITH. Jesus loves you just like you are, but He refuses to leave you that way. He wants you to become like Him. That is true of every person on Earth. We must grow by reading the Holy Bible, praying for others and lifting up the Name above all other names, JESUS CHRIST. "For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of your own, it is the gift of God not of works, so that no one may boast." --(Ephesians 2:8-9) //You can scroll back on this forum to find more information on who you can call, request material on salvation. ~~~THERE IS ONLY ONE PERSON WHO CAN SAVE YOU, CHRIST JESUS~~

~~~JUST JESUS~~
~~~"Do not love the world nor the things of the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
"For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the boastful pride of life, is not from the Father, but is from the world.
"The world is passing away, and also its lusts; but the one who does the will of God lives forever" [1 John 2:15-17].~~ bible

~~"There is salvation in no one else; for there is no other Name [Jesus], under heaven that has been given among men by which we must be saved" -[ACTS 4:12]

~~~~~~~~~~
~~~We know our Father’s name, and he has claimed us, but he has yet to come for us. So here we are. Caught between what is and what will be. No longer orphans but not yet home. What do we do in the meantime? Indeed, it can be just that—a mean time. Time made mean with disease, deceit, death, and debt. How do we live in the meantime? How do we keep our hearts headed home?

“Let us look only to Jesus, the One who began our faith and who makes it perfect” (Hebrews 12:2). Look to Jesus. Ponder his life. Consider his ways. Meditate on his words. Jesus….just Jesus. ~~

While we are on this Earth, we know that it is passing away. We are living for a Country (city) not made with hands. "For those of the faith (Hebrews 11:13-16+), make it clear that they are seeking a country of their own. And indeed if they had been thinking of that country from which they went out, they would have had opportunity to return. But as it is, they desire a better country, a heavenly one. Therefore G-D is not ashamed to be called their God; for He has prepared a city for them. ~~

~~ star ~~Friend, Are you certain that when you die (pass from this earth) that you will go straight to Heaven. You can be sure. Please read below....=

--GOD'S PLAN FOR SALVATION ~~

"How can I find meaning and purpose in life?" is a common question and worth considering. So what is life all about--and how does this relate to God, me, and eternity?

~~It's about how we got here.~~
People on this planet didn't get here by some cosmic accident. At creation, God said "Let Us make man in Our image" (Genesis 1:26). God created men and women and placed us here on the earth.

~~It's about why God put us here.
God loves what He created and created us to truly know and enjoy Him. He loves us and wanted to live in fellowship with us. In the beginning, we lived in harmony and happiness with God and one another (Genesis 1:31).

~~ It's about how we responded.
In our early history the first humans turned away from God and went their own way--and fellowship with God was broken. Now, all people are born with a sinful nature, and without exception all of us have sinned (Romans 3:23). The consequence of this is that we are separated from God and deserve punishment for our sins.

~~It's about how God rescues us.
Out of His deep love for us, God sent His only Son, Jesus Christ, into the world to rescue us from our dilemma by dying on the cross (John 3:16). By sacrificing His life on behalf of sinners He took the punishment we deserve in order to provide salvation. Then God raised Jesus from the dead, confirming the work of Jesus on the cross and establishing His power over death.

~~It's about our response.
Jesus has sufficiently paid the debt for all of our wrong-doing, and we are called to turn from our sin, rebellion, and isolation and trust what Jesus has done on our behalf.

God makes very clear the conditions by which the salvation Jesus offers can be ours. In Mark 1:15 Jesus said, "Repent, and believe in the gospel."

First, God says we must repent. The word "repent" means a change of direction. This means when we turn to God, we are turning away from sin and giving up on the attempt to make ourselves right before God.

Second, God says we must believe. The word "believe" as it is used in the Bible means trust. The object of our trust is the One who paid the price for our wrongdoing. We must trust Jesus to remove our guilt and the penalty of all the wrongs we have done. The Bible says when we put our faith in Jesus, God takes our sins away and gives us the gift of eternal life.

~~How will you respond?
fyi ~~The Bible says that "whoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved" (Romans 10:13). If you've not trusted in Christ as Lord and Savior, why not stop right now, turn from your sin, and believe in Him who alone can save you and give you new and eternal life?

~~~WHERE IS PEACE?
--"For He is our peace." --(Ephesians 2:14/ KJV) --
--My writing desk today is a patio table in the screen house on the deck. Our quiet neighborhood seems especially silent today because the road in front of our house is closed to through traffic while the county resurfaces the asphalt a few miles to the north. A soft breeze is blowing. The only conflict within sight is a war between two cardinals and a blue jay. The cardinals are winning.
It is a place of peace. The garden's growing at a pace I can almost hear. My Bible's open in front of me. Peace. AHHHH!
But I might not recognize the external serenity if it weren't for my internal serenity. Despite deadlines, projects waiting for me, family health needs yet unresolved--more than a few pockets of uncertainty--peace reigns in my soul because the Word of God is true: Jesus is our peace.
That thought will never cease to amaze me. It's an "anyway" peace. And that's what amazes others too.
"Why aren't you rattled? Have you been listening to the news?"
"Peace anyway."
"How can you be so calm? You must be in denial about what's happening."
"No. Peace anyway. I have Jesus. I have peace. Jesus is the Prince of Peace. [Isaiah 9:6]
It's not a trite saying. Ask a person of faith who has weathered a crisis without collapsing. Ask a caregiver who keeps pressing on in love. Ask someone who's followed Jesus a lifetime--a lifetime that drawing to an end. Peace anyway. Because He is our peace. ~~
