Who has gone up to heaven and come down? Who has gathered up the wind in the hallow of His hands? Who has wrapped up the waters in His cloak? Who has established all the ends of the earth? What is His name, and the name of His son? Tell me if you know! ----- Proverbs 30:4
We all know what it is now and who He is as He gave his life up for us on the cross. Who has gone up to heaven and come down or extablished all the ends of the earth? Who else could that be but God clearly stating: He has a Son.
And in Genesis when it says " Let us make man in our image, in our likeness." ---- Genesis 1:26
From Everlasting To Everlasting Thou Art God They Believed!
They believed He was who He claimed to be. They believed before Christianity was established they believed from Ancient Times and from examining all the evidence! I believe what they believed too!
The Greek word for fish is ichtys. It is said to have been adopted as a Christian symbol because it contains the initial letters ' of the appellation.
Jesus Christ , Son of God, Savior in Greek. ( I[esous] Ch[ristos] Th[eou] Y[ios] S[oter]; I[noov ] X[ pioio] O[ eov] Y[lo ] Z [ wtnpl]
Look at what was uncovered what could be the earliest Christian church in the Holy Land and this Christian structure seems to have been built in the transition between the end of the Jewish settlement and before the established Christianity.
They Believed He was and is.. "God Jesus Christ".
And if it was proof enough for them way back then it is proof enough for me too and more of course then just that: BUT THEY BELIEVED TOO. So very long ago "The Megiddo Church".
Look at what they found and what they believed in, in the Holy Land. Where it all began "there" and has spread all around the world now just like the scriptures said it would. Look for yourself open your eyes and see for yourself. It's there.
It's more then just faith for us this is The truth!
Jesus knows what you are going through. He's been there. He knows how you feel. He knows you. Isn't it time you got to know him ?
He changed the course of history. He changed millions of lives. He died to change your life, too. He died to give you eternal life.
" Now this is enternal life: that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent." ----------- John 17:3
The Plain Truth
The Miracle Of Jesus' Birth. " The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel." ---- Matthew 1:23
Isaiah 7:13--- 10: And Jehovah spoke again to Ahaz, saying 11: Ask a sign from Jehovah your God; make deep the request. 12: But Ahaz said, I will not ask, nor will I tempt Jehovah. 13: And he said , Hear now , O house of David , is it too little that you weary men, but will you also weary my God ? 14: So , the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold ! The virgin is with child and shall bring forth a son; and she shall call His name Immanuel. 15: He shall eat curds and honey untill He knows to refuse the evil and choose the good.
THEY BELIEVED WAY BACK THEN.. They believed he was and is. "God Jesus Christ". First to the Jews and then to the Gentiles they believed. To whom so ever will.
Hi Lynn! Thank you for this post on Yeshua Hamaschiah...Christ the Son of God.
I hope you don't mind my posting this beautiful Messianic song 'Yeshua Hamaschiach'. I think you will find it goes with your message. Thank you and may God richly bless you!
Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me." [John 14:6]
And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.---- John 1:14
Messianic Credentials Who Can Supply Them.. It has already been fulfilled so no one can. Besides: There can be no other proven Messiah as the records have been destroyed and the Prophecy has already been fulfilled.
This book describes (Rabbi Jonathan Bernis) his personal journey from a young man raised in a traditional Jewish family who was taught that a Jew can't believe in Jesus to being convinced by the overwhelming evidence of the Torah, the Law, and the Prophets that Yeshua ( Jesus ) was indeed the Messiah.
"The Lord himself will give you a sign: The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and will call him Immanuel." (Isaiah 7:14)-
Seven hundred years before the birth of Jesus, God gave a glimpse of this event to His prophet Isaiah. His message was this: the Messiah will be a son, born to a virgin, and His name will be Immanuel.
Unlike today, names in Bible times told a story or made a statement. Names were usually combinations of words that created an intended picture, and Immanuel was no different. Im is the Hebrew word meaning "with" or "beside," while the word el means "God." Immanuel is "God with us." But the word picture of el is something with mighty strength--like a strong, supporting pillar or an oak tree. In fact, the root of this word actually means "twisted"--like a twisted tree trunk. That implies unbreakable, mighty strength.
When we feel weak emotionally or spiritually, we need to look at Jesus and remember He came to show us that God is our mighty strength. Though just a helpless baby as He entered our world, He contained all the power in the universe as God.
We can trust Immanuel (Jesus) to carry us. --- JESUS--the baby's name means 'The LORD saves." To save someone implies strength. To save humankind implies the mighty strength of God. -- Praise the LORD! What a Saviour!!!!

Power of Words John 6:60-69
"Peter answered him, 'Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life.'" (John 6:68)
Words are powerful. You've known that since the first time you read a book you couldn't put down. Think of the influence of words you've heard from an impassioned speaker. Remember how powerful words were when someone said, "I'm proud of you," or, sadly, when someone spoke ill of you? Surely you've had the words of a song remain in your mind for years.
But all of these will pass away. The words that will last forever are those of eternal life written for us in the Bible. They are the words of patriarchs and prophets, kings and clergy, apostles and disciples, and Jesus Himsself-YAHWEH!---all inspired and breathed by God.
You may go back to a book of the Bible repeatedly, finding its words ever fresh and real. But if you re-read favorite books from years ago, you'll see you've forgotten much of them.
While the discourses of our day fade, we stand firmly as Peter did, testifying that there is no reason for us to look elsewhere for words of hope; we have them spoken by and embodied in Jesus Christ, YAHWEH! --- "Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away." (Mathew 24:35)
HE IS EXALTED - YAHWEH !
Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me." [John 14:6]
-Incisions of the Word Luke 2:33-35; Hebrews 4:12-13
"For the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow..." (Hebrews 4:12a) -- When the Bible truly begins to be more to us than interesting stories and genealogies, it does what dear Simeon in the temple in Jerusalem announced as he took eight-day-old Jesus--Word become flesh--into his arms; it causes "the rising and falling of many" (Luke 2:34), reveals the thoughts of hearts (v.35), and is like a sword piercing the soul (v.35).
The Word of God goes in deep--like a knife cutting through layers--and makes judgments about what is there. Jesus did exactly that during His earthly ministry and continues to do so now as the written Word penetrates our lives, getting to the very bottom of things. And at the core is always sin...some sort of prideful sin that has us believing we don't need the promises of God, don't need saving, and are the masters of our own destiny.
But the Living Word, Jesus, has used those incisions of the Word to drive us to our knees and draw us to Him. Those wounds are nothing compared to the ones He bore at Calvary in order to heal us and restore us to Him. -- "Reckless words pierce like a sword, but the tongue of the wise brings healing." (Proverbs 12:18)

From Everlasting To Everlasting Thou Art God They Believed!
We believe it too! We have reasons to believe and if there was a Beginning of the Universe then there has got to be a beginner. The big bang needs a banger! Somebodies involved and why a mother nature instead of a Father God? There are so many reasons to believe that Jesus IS the Messiah. Died on the cross rose from the grave and came to save us from our sins! As we cannot save ourselves, to save us from the evil one who is messing up this planet.. We cannot save ourselves from this awful truth of reality. We are in need of saving, we do need a savior. Thats Jesus! It Stands To Reason with stand to reason...
Let's Evolve???? Hmmmmmmmm But God is Love! And Jesus died on the cross for us! And they believed He was who He claimed to be. They really believed it, way back then too.
Hi Lynn! Thank you for this thread! AMEN! JESUS IS ALIVE!
---- Live Each Day in the Light of Christ's Rersurrection ~
"He is not here, but has risen."
-- Luke 24:6
Not long ago, I was watching one of those TV shows where they take a survival expert, drop him off in the middle of nowhere, and show how he gets back. And on this particular episode he was dropped in the middle of the Amazon Rainforest. As I watched him just try to survive that first night alone, I was glad it was him and not me!
Could you imagine being lost in the Amazon at night? Under all those trees, it gets so dark that you can't even see your hand in front of your face. Every step you take is full of fear as you trudge through the muck and the mire. You lose your sense of perspective and direction, and you can't find your way out. It's hopeless.
But soon, dawn begins to break. So you climb up to a top of a tree as the yellow morning light shines across the jungle. And you see a path that leads to a small Amazon village at the base of a mountain!
That's what it means to come to Jesus Christ. You've lost your way and you have nowhere to turn. But then, the light of his resurrection breaks through and you are led out of the darkness and into his marvelous light!
When the light of Christ's resurrection shines in your life, you can't resist going home to him. After that, everything changes!
WHEN CHRIST'S RESURRECTION LIGHT SHINES IN YOUR LIFE, IT CHANGES EVERYTHING. SO LIVE EACH DAY IN HIS MARVELOUS LIGHT[b]![/b]

Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me." [John 14:6]
Revelation 19:1-10 --- Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him glory for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready. --Revelation 19:7 --
Royal weddings take extravagance to a level that we "commoners" seldom see. In 1981, however, many of us got a peek at one when the wedding of Prince Charles and Princess Diana was broadcast worldwide.
Another royal wedding is in the planning stages, and it will be more elaborte than any other. But in this wedding, the most important person will be the groom, Christ Himself; and we, the church, will be His bride. John's revelation says that the bride will make herself ready (19:7) and that our wedding gown will be our righteous acts (v.8).
Though earthly marriages last only a lifetime, every bride works hard to make her wedding perfect. How much more, as the bride of Christ, should we be preparing ourselves for a marriage that will last for eternity!
The church, the bride of Christ, will be Arrayed in linen, clean and bright, Through righteous acts that we have done-- Much to our Groom's delight. --- Good deeds don't make a Christian, but a Christian does good deeds.

Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me." [John 14:6]
For I say unto you ( Israel ), Ye shall not see me ( Jesus ) henceforth; till ye ( Israel ) shall say; "Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord".
But the Good News Is: That Yeshua is the Messiah of Israel and the Savior of the World!
Let all the house of Israel therefore know for certain that God has made him both Lord and Christ, this Jesus whom you crucified. ---- Acts 2:36
Nobody took His life He gave it! Jesus wants them to know that.. He/ Yeshua is their Messiah and the savor of the world.
Who hath ascended up into heaven, or descended? And, What is His name , and what is His son's name, if thou canst tell? We know who has ascended to heaven and descended. It was He who commanded the wind and the waters, " He arose and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm" ---- Mark 4:39
It was Jesus the Christ/ Yeshua the Messiah. Proverbs 30:4
"Thus saith Cyrus king of Persia, The Lord God of heaven hath given me all the kingdoms of the earth; and he hath charged me to build him an house at Jerusalem, which is in Judah." (Ezra 1:2)
It is noteworthy that the words of this verse are almost the same as in the last verse of 2 Chronicles. This is an indication that Ezra the scribe (who wrote the book of Ezra) was also the compiler and editor of the two books of Chronicles.
Even more noteworthy is the fact that the great emperor Cyrus seemed to acknowledge that the God of Israel was not just a tribal god, as many have claimed, but the Lord God of heaven--that is Jehovah Elohim- -recognizing Him as both Creator and Redeemer of the world. The Persians were largely followers of Zoroaster, but his religious system did bear some resemblance to the true monotheism of Israel.
But Cyrus had been called, and even named, by God, long before he was born (Isaiah 44:28-45:6). When he conquered Babylon, the prophet Daniel was there (Daniel 6:28). The Jewish historian Josephus wrote that Daniel even became prime minister under Cyrus and was able to read Isaiah's remarkable prophecy to him, thus influencing him to send the Jews back to Jerusalem.
There have also been other Gentile rulers who acknowledged God, even before Christ came. Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon, once hating God, finally was forced to confess that He was "the most High" and "King of heaven" (Daniel 4:34, 37). Another was the Queen of Sheba, who recognized "the LORD thy God" (again Jehovah Elohim, 1 Kings 10:9). Then there was the king of Nineveh and Assyria, who believed in God at the preaching of Jonah (Jonah 3:6-10). In fact, in the ages to come "the kings of the earth" will all "bring their glory and honour" to the Lord in the holy city (Revelation 21:24).

"...so is my word that goes out from my mouth; It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it." --(Isaiah 55:11)
IN my college years I began to grow in my love and commitment to the Word of God. Our pastor would preach "hard and strong" from Scripture. My old Bible is filled with notes, outlines, and personal applications offered on any Sunday. I also loved to see the pastor's open Bible with his margin notes, circled words, arrows going from one verse to another, red and blue liners outlining God's truth.
But it doesn't really matter if your Bible is marked with ink or not; the words are what remain. We have an eternal God with His eternal Word as relevant today as in the days of old, and for all generations.
Just as the rain and the snow accomplish what is needed on earth, so God's Word accomplishes His spiritual purposes in our lives (see v. 10). Years come and go along with their ups and downs, but God's promises and presence never end. God's great redemption story coming through His Word into our lives needs to be told to those who follow in our footsteps. It will not return empty!
God will open doors of opportunity for you to share His love in a spiritually hungry world. Go through them!

Yes, it's the fullness of God's Word! The Divinity of Jesus is not based just on Paul's writtings or one Scripture alone. It's Yeshua The Messiah Jesus The Christ all throughout the Bible as it's the fullness within.
It's all that He conveys to us is through the prism of the Hebrew Bible and the religion and culture of that time. It's the foundation of our faith! Without the Old Testament how can we fully understand the New Testament as it's the fullness within the identity of Jesus/Yeshua throughout the Scriptures. The Fullness Within is "Jesus Throughout The Bible."

Doug Batchelor - Part 1 - Jesus Throughout the Bible
Interesting how many struggle with the Majestic Elohim of God. God breathed into human bodies and created much life as we all exist through Him. God is not limited God is boundless. God is not human just like one of us. Interesting Video..
'Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body.' --1 Corinthians 6:19-20 -One of my favorite comedies of all times has to be the movie, 'City Slickers'. It’s about three friends who were going through a mid-life crisis, were sick and tired of their daily lives, and were always looking for some new adventure. And they were always hoping that by finding the next big thing, it would dull the pain of getting older.
I know too many men and women today who are just like that. They look up one day and think, “I’ve wasted my life.” So they begin trying to make up for time they’ve lost by buying things and doing things to try and convince themselves that they aren’t really getting older.
These feelings of an urgent desire to do something that matters are deeply rooted in our need to find significance. And while many attempt to find that significance in worldly things, God tells us that our significance is truly found not in what we do, but in who He declares us to be.
If you want to make your life matter, start living it for God. Commit daily to Him and His purposes in loving others and living out His calling. Pursue God’s will in your life and you’ll find the significance you desire!
-FIND YOUR SIGNIFICANCE NOT IN WORLDLY THINGS, BUT IN WHO GOD MADE YOU AND HIS PLAN FOR YOUR LIFE.= / Glorious Day! = Casting Crowns//Some people have asked why did Jesus have to die? The Bible tells us, "Without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness of sins." Jesus paid our sin-debt by dying on the Cross so that all who come to Him will be saved! --WALKING IN THE LIGHT~~ --(Please Read/ Ephesians 5:1-17)
---If you’ve ever lost power at night, you know how disorienting it can be to try and find your way to a flashlight or candle. You think you’re heading for a doorway but unexpectedly bump into a wall. This is what our life was like before we met the Light of the World. In fact, we didn’t even know what real light was and had become comfortable in the darkness because it kept us from seeing how sinful we truly were.
An amazing transaction occurred when we finally believed the gospel, repented of our sins, and confessed Jesus as our Lord and Savior. We were rescued from the domain of darkness and transferred to the kingdom of Light. And now Jesus Christ, the Light of the World, has come to dwell within us (Col. 1:13; Eph. 3:17). So how are Christ’s followers supposed to live? Today’s passage outlines three basic responsibilities:
-1.) Walk in love (Ephesians 5:1-2). As the Savior sacrificially loved us, so we are to love others. If we are at odds with our brothers and sisters in Christ, we can’t claim to be walking in Light (1 John 1:7).
-2.) Abstain from sin (Eph. 5:3-7). Believers aren’t sinless, but they don’t habitually practice deeds of darkness.
-3.) Learn what pleases God (Eph. 5:8-17). The fruit of Light is goodness, righteousness, and truth. These are displayed in our character, conversation, and conduct when we are living out our faith.
Let’s make it our aim to move ever closer to the Light, letting Jesus expose and remove any areas of darkness so we can reflect His glory and goodness. Jesus is the Light of the World! --IN TOUCH~~--/--HILLSONG / O COME LET US ADORE HIM~~<https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pIj6wtHN21s> ---------
Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me." [John 14:6]
"Now in those days a decree went out from Caesar Augustus, that a census be take of all the inhabited earth. This was the first census taken while Quirinius was governor of Syria.
And everyone was on his way to register for the census, each to his own city. Joseph also went up from Galilee, from the city of Nazareth, to Judea, to the city of David which is called Bethlehem, because he was of the house and family of David, in order to register along with Mary, who was engaged to him, and was with Child.
While they were there, the days were completed for her to give birth. And Mary gave birth to her firstborn Son: and she wrapped Him in cloths, and laid Him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the Inn.
In the same region there were some shepherds staying out in the field and keeping watch over their flocks by night.
And an angel of the Lord suddenly stood before them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them; and they were terribly frightened. But the angel said to them, "Do not be afraid; for behold, I bring you good news of great joy which will be for all the people; For today in the city of David there has been born for you a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.
This will be a sign for you; you will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger."
And suddenly there appeared with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying, "Glory to God in the highest, And on earth peace among men with whom His is pleased." --(LUKE 2:1-14 NASB) / "O Holy Night"/ Sung by: Josh Groban<https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4Zh-yR0pbmU> -----
