--ABOUNDING!

'The law entered, that the offense might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound.'

ABOUNDING sin is overcome by superabundant grace. No matter how much sin has accumulated in a person's life, God's grace found in Jesus Christ has the power to save, forgive, and blot out that sin. Once the believer has received the Lord's grace, he can then abound...

--In love toward others~~"The charity of every one of you all toward each other aboundeth."

--In steadfast hope. "Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost."

--In bringing forth fruit. "For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ."

--In thanksgiving. "Rooted and built up in Him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving."

--In God's work. "Therefore..be ye steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labor is not in vain in the Lord."
