Greetings,

I have had a number of non-specific symptoms that simply do not lead to any particular medical diagnosis. I've been to GPs, neurologists, and even oncologist/hematologist, but no one seems to be able to point to anything specific. The symptoms include, in order of importance: fatigue, lack of concentration, poor memory, exercise intolerance, sensitivity to light, occasional mouth sores, and did I mention fatigue? In addition, I have an abnormally low white blood count, and I've read that mercury poisoning will actually raise the WBC in order to combat the mercury presence.

I realize these symptoms could be traced to dozens of diseases, but what caught my eye about the mercury bit is that I went through a very severe phase which coincides with two new amalgam fillings I had put in. Again, this could just be coincidence, but it's worth checking out. In addition, my symptoms are very cyclical. I can almost time it to the day - I go through "down" periods every 6 weeks where I experience a week of overwhelming fatigue, malaise, and I hesitate to use the word depression, but lack of motivation is perhaps a better term. Simply put, I just don't have much energy these days, and I've got a mouthful of amalgan fillings.

Are my symptoms out of the ball park for mercury poisoning, and if not, what is the most reliable method of testing. Thanks very much.

Tom

You sound like a textbook example of mercury poisoning. I would seriously look into it if I were you.

About your wbc, mercury ups it in some, downs it in others. That the tough thing about mercury is that it affects so many people differently.

The thing I look for is a combination of symptoms. Sometimes (like in your case), it's possible to see a relationship between the time they were installed and the beginning of symptoms.

Your combination of symptoms seems obvious to me to be cause my the amalgams, but I've been studying this awhile.

I'm not trying to sell you a book, but you sound like you might be a researcher, and if so, check out this link... This is truly an awesome book which I keep on my desk within arms reach as a reference.

Thanks and if I can help, feel free to write anytime.

Thanks for the info. I'm going to at least get tested for mercury poisoining, although it seems from reading yours and others' stories that my condition is minor in comparison.

Ironically enough, I cracked a tooth this weekend and found a mercury-free dentist in my area to remove the old almagam (properly) and install a temporary crown.

Re: Huggins, he seems to be "out there" from some of the things I've read . . . blaiming MS and cancer on mercury, for example. Doesn't he get a bit carried away? Smells like a money making venture to me.

It may seem "out there" at first glance but if you read the research (which is my job), mercury "by definition" causes cancer because of the way it reacts with DNA during cell replication. It causes mutations! Same with MS, but you have to take a deeper look.

It's important to check out the facts before making quick judgements, as I'm one of those who had a dramatic recovery from well over a dozen ailments after having my fillings removed. I know others also (personally).

I could also tell you about my neighbor. Long story short, she has MS and is on medication. Walks around shaking all the time and can't live a normal life.

I found out after knowing her many years that she worked at a dentist office for 2 years mixing amalgam for the Dentist. Her family won't believe that mercury is the cause, hence she's done nothing to help herself except take the drugs her doctor's prescribed and continues to-this-day in her state.

Had I not believed the the person who first told me about mercury (followed by reading Huggins book), I'd be worthless or dead right now. I respect people who are willing to say things that don't make sense in a 5-second sound bite?like Huggins?yet have changed people's lives?like mine.

I don't mean to minimize the pain and suffering of those who have benefitted from this type of treatment, or suggest that Huggins is totally wrong about everything he has said, but in the (admittedly minimal) research I have done so far, he doesn't seem to have many allies in the profession. For example:

"Huggins's dental license was revoked in 1996. During the revocation proceedings, the administrative law judge concluded:

Huggins had diagnosed "mercury toxicity" in all patients who consulted him in his office, even some without mercury fillings.
He had also recommended extraction of all teeth that had had root canal therapy.
Huggins's treatments were "a sham, illusory and without scientific basis." [19]
A practitioner who does not wish to use amalgam can still practice ethically by giving appropriate advice and and referring patients elsewhere when amalgam is the best choice. But advertising a practice as "mercury-free" is unethical because it falsely implies that amalgam fillings are dangerous and that "mercury-free" methods are superior. " (http://www.ncahf.org/pp/amalgampp.html)

I'm not suggesting he's wrong about the mercury issue, but I look at him with a skeptical eye (which I think is a healthy thing). I'm open minded, but my antennae immediately goes up when the big $$ signs start flashing, as is the case with these outrageously expensive procedures.

Also, could you point me to a source that indicates that mercury poisoning can lower white blood cell count, as you stated? I can only find reference to *higher* WBCs. Thanks

Before I begin, let me preface this response by saying that I am in no way intending to be unkind at all. I'm truly only trying to help by telling you (and everyone else) what I believe to be true through my research and experience. Of course, everyone will have to make their decisions and do their own research. Everything I've written here is my honest opinion based on my research and experience.

First let me respond to the following statement:

"in the (admittedly minimal) research I have done so far, he [Huggins] doesn't seem to have many allies in the profession"

If you continue your research, you will find that he has many allies in his profession. In fact, the controversy about amalgam has been going on for well over 100 years. Huggins didn't begin this position, he's only joined in with others already fighting.

In fact, the dangers of amalgams are so well known in some European countries, they don't use them anymore.

I have old copies of the ADA website in which they say they're correcting some common misinformation found on the web. They say that it is untrue that amaglams have been banned in some European countries. Technically, this is true. They have not been banned. Instead, their dangers have become so well known that there was no longer a demand for them. Of course they fail to add this pertinent fact. This type of deception shows their true nature (the ADA) (wake up America).

The first problem I see is your source of information.

You must realize that the NCAF was formed primarily to further the cause of the pharmaceutical companies. They do this via several methods, one of which is scaring doctors away from trying alternative methods. (If you find this hard to believe, read the book, "Racketeering In Medicine". I'll provide a link later.)

The NCAF is by no means the only player in the game. Stephen Barrett and his "followers" (of "Quackwatch" fame) is another. NCS, NCI, NIH, FDA, ADA, CDC, AMA and the State Boards of Medical Examiners are others. There are more.

This highly-coordinated complex of "organized med" is directed, either directly or indirectly by the money?the pharmaceutical companies. The major medical schools are in the same bed. Follow the money.

The process of unravelling this highly-organized conspiracy is not that complicated and is the subject of numerous books and historical documents. Human conspiracies reach back as far as history can see but people just keep on believing that those in power "just can't be that bad". A hard study of the facts shows othewise.

I certainly could not educate anyone on this involved subject without writing a book, but why bother. Many others already have, and quite brilliantly, I might add. Here are a few examples:

Racketeering In Medicine
The Creature From Jeckyll Island
The Unseen Hand
Vultures In Eagles Clothing
Dr. Cutler's List

The document you make reference to (http://www.ncahf.org/pp/amalgampp.html) is pitiful. I truly feel sorry for people who read this stuff and actually believe it. I truly hope people will do more research and use common sense when they do. The most important thing is not to believe the [political] position of a person or organization just because they're big, powerful, popular, pretty, referenced, or part of the government.

This document from the NCAF begins with a paragraph containing this statement:

"The National Council Against Health Fraud believes that amalgam fillings are safe..."

Anyone who does their homework properly will realize the following facts (don't take it from me, everyone should do their own homework):

1. Mercury leaks out of amalgam fillings into your mouth.
2. ANY amount of mercury in the body does damage?there is NO "safe" minimum.
3. Chronic mercury exposure causes mercury to accumulate in the body. This accumulation increases damage over time.

Questions:

1. If it's safe, why are so many people getting well [dramatically] after having them removed (including me)?

2. If it's safe, why did the FDA propose removing Thimerosal (a mercury-containing preservative) from vaccinations? (Using mercury as a preservative in vaccines is another brilliant idea?if you want to make large numbers of people mysteriously sick over a long period of time to increase the pharmaceutical bottom line. Ask yourself: Are there no other safer preservatives?)

3. If it's safe, why did the state of California pass a law requiring Dentists to inform patients that it isn't (or "may not be" as the politically correct and * legally safe * terminology goes)?

4. If it's safe, why does so much research show a link between mercury and destructive processes causing numerous conditions in the body? Click this link to see a list:

Partial List of Illnesses

You should also check out this video (obviously out of the reach of the U.S. "organized med"):

University of Calgary

People need to educate themselves and, most of all, return to common sense. We need to realize that there are big?even huge?organizations that are presided by people who have no conscience and lie regularly. Did everyone hear that? No conscience?lie regularly.

Have you ever met one of these people? I have. I've met several, in fact. In most cases, I didn't realize that they had no conscience until harm was done. In some cases, much harm. Some are now in prison. Others are in politics.

Have you heard about the medical ghostwriting scam that's currently being uncovered? Have you heard about DuPont and their plan to maintain the monopoly on Freon-related products (If you're a stock trader or skilled watcher, you may have heard about this one). I've documented on our own website (as I've had time) about Stephen Barrett (pawn of the pharmaceutical complex) who slandered Huggins' book very deceptively (interestingly Stephen Barrett founded Quackwatch.com):

Beyond Ridiculous

And another Link:

Quackwatch Busted

Did anyone see the 20/20 story about Nutrasweet? I saw it when it originally aired (years ago?before Nutrasweet advertised, I believe). It said that a scientist was paid $30K (if I remember the amount correctly) as a bribe. Here's what happened (this is to the best of my memory as it aired years ago).

Mice were fed from bowls. Nutrasweet was added to the bowls into the food. The Nutrasweet was in a large crystalline form?too large for the mice to eat.

The mice ate the food but left ALL the Nutrasweet chunks. The scientist was paid $30K to record in his report that the mice ate ALL the Nutrasweet. The test results showed that the mice suffered NO side effects from the Nutrasweet (that they never ingested).

Here's another book that needs reading by the American public:

Ephedra: Fact or Fiction

Continuing, this first paragraph from the NCAF goes on to say:
"...anti-amalgam activities endanger public welfare, and that so-called "mercury-free dentistry" is substandard practice"

This "substandard practice" saved my life and dramatically helped many others that I personally know. We really have to open our eyes here. Remember the facts above... Does mercury leach? Is it poisonous? OK, the only remaining question is how much leaches.

Another thing to realize (which I mentioned in a previous post) is that the illnesses being caused by mercury are being treated by expensive, patented pharmaceuticals... And there are many of them (illnesses being caused by mercury).

Now, if we let common sense rule and not let ourselves be led away by the false notion that all people in powerful positions are good, we will realize that we have found a motive. And not just "A" motive, the most served motive in human history... money.

We also should realize that pharmaceutical company CEOs do not get paid for honesty, they get paid to make their companies profitable.

If one of these CEOs realized that an inexpensive natural alternative works better than one of their expensive patented products, do you really think he/she would go to a stockholder meeting and announce it? In fact, it's hard to find an employee at the local grocery store who will jeopardize their own job to avoid having to tell a "little white lie", or perhaps "overlook" a problem they notice in the safety practices of their food handling. Remember Erin Brockovich and PG & E. We're not talking about $5 an hour here.

On a 20/20 program years ago, mercury readings were taken from the mouths of people with amalgam fillings. Substantial amounts of mercury were leaching. I actually saw this entire story.

Some research I've read a while ago said that the amounts that leach are (if I remember correctly) 25 to 200 TIMES (not percent) higher than what OSHA allows in the air of the work place. I'd like to find that study, and if I do, I'll post a link to it here.

OK, one more excerpt...

"Amalgam is the most thoroughly studied and tested filling material now used."

This is deception at it's finest. I mean, it's hard to believe they would make this statement. But let me tell you why they would and why it works so well for their purposes.

They know that 99% of the people will read this and assume this means the research has come back positive?that the fillings are safe. I sincerely hope people will wake up and see the pure evil in this unescapable deception.

Yes, technically the statement is true; "Amalgam is the most...tested." But what they don't say is what the preponderence of tests do say. That's the question we really need the answer to. The answer, like most truth, is reasonably accessible. Just do some searching and you will find it.

Of course, you'll find a study here and there that says amalgams are safe, but remember ghostwriting, bribery and the desire for money exist most anywhere you find humans. These are the studies they clearly favor, even though they are in the vast minority. Do you own research and you'll see.

Let me say a word about licensing.

As usually is the case, people in search of power will offer you something that seems to have value, but which has the net effect of giving them more power. Licensing is a shining example of a governmental quest for power in exchange for so-called protection for the people.

History should be an conclusive teacher on this subject of licensing, but we all too often ignore it.

It was told us that plumbing licenses are in place to protect us from bad plumbers. Unfortunately, there are 2 types of people in the world: Those who care and those who don't. Those who care about plumbing are good plumbers and have a good reputation. Those who don't care about plumbing tout their license as a token of their competency, even if they do horrible work. The true token of their quality is the earned testimonials?leading to a good reputation?which results from caring, not licensing.

It was told church leaders that they could be tax exempt. Sounds great but there is one small stipulation: They cannot talk about (endorse) politics. An interesting compromise which, by it's very nature, has no escape. With this type of "status" licensing, the loss of rights is obvious and makes churches second-class organizations.

It was told us that medical licenses are for our protection. Yet, we see them revoked all the time (if you keep up with this stuff) when doctors practice safe, alternative medicine with tremendous results and no complaints filed, while truly incompetent doctors get their hands slapped after killing many. (Boy, could I tell you some stories! I'll post some here eventually).

A deeper look exposes the true nature and harm of licensing: A process of control leading to the centralization of power and money, which attracts people attracted to the same (power and money).

On the other end of the spectrum is free certification. This is effective because its success is ultimately based on reputation. Some computer training schools flourish because they have a good reputation based on good testimony and others fail because they have a bad reputation based on bad testimony.

Take a close look at licensing and you'll realize that it's really a system of control and oppression?requiring you to pay for and obtain rights you would otherwise have anyway. Plus, it also obscures the natural system of reputation and provides no protection against those who use licensing itself as a system to oppress the truth. Unfortunately, a careful study will show the latter prevails and many suffer as a result.

Someone (like Huggins) who worked hard for a degree and was willing to risk (and ultimately lose) his license for a cause is more commendable than most. Whether he's decided to go for the gold now or not, I don't know for sure. There's certainly nothing wrong with making money, especially while providing a beneficial service. I cannot believe, however, that his heart started in the wrong place and it doesn't make sense to me to believe that it's currently in the wrong place.

I sincerely hope people will take 10-15 minutes a day and read some of the books I suggested in this post. It will begin to open doors you never thought were closed.

Education is not the key to motivation, but rather the opposite is true: Motivation is the key to education. Those who care about football know about football. Those who care about the latest American Idol know about the latest American Idol. Those who care about truth know about truth. Those who care about corporate pride, power and money often sacrifice truth and integrity to attain their goals.

Humility is the precursor to an honest education in truth.

About your inquiry about WBC:
The book, "It's All In Your Head", page 89 provides a list of factors that, taken together, can be indicative of mercury toxicity. A white blood cell count above 7,500 or below 4,500 are both indicators.

It's All In Your Head by Dr. Hal Huggins
(This is the book that changed my life).

And just in case someone missed it in the previous post, here is the story of my life without mercury:

My Mercury Story

"All truth passes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed; second, it is violently opposed; third, it is accepted as being self-evident."

Schoepenhauer

Russ, thanks for the information, and you make some good points, especially on the quackwatch deal. I'd like to reiterate that I believe Huggins may very well be spot on in regards to amalgam issue; what I am questioning is the lengths to which he seemingly goes with the mercury business, and the outrageously expensive procedures he reccommends raise all kinds of red flags. One of the tricks of the trade for con artists, disinformationists, and cults (i.e., scientology) is to give the air of authenticity and objectivity by sprinkling little bits of truth with exaggerations, half-truths, and distortions. I'm not saying that is the case with Huggins, but the initial warning signs are there. My approach is to proceed with extreme caution, as there are plenty of people out there (especially in the "medical" profession) who will take advantage of ill, desperate people who are just looking for an answer to all of their problems (cancer patients in particular), and ultimately what they are left with is shallow pockets and dashed hopes. Caveat Emptor, that's all I'm saying.

Your arguments regarding "conspiracies" breaks down a bit, in my opinion. On the one hand, you keep repeating the mantra "follow the money", as if anyone who makes a buck is automatically a knowing participant in some conspiracy to rob people. But what if we follow the money trail to Dr Huggins? Do you hold him to the same standards? What about the alternative medicine field? This is a huge, money making industry - if we follow the money, are also left concluding that this is part of some conspiracy as well between the makers of such products and their vendors? For that matter, are you profiting from the sales of the books that you are pretty aggressively pushing here? That's a rhetorical question, but see how that "follow the money trail" thing can be.

In regards to the many people you know who have experienced improved health as a result of the removal of amalgams, I can only say "good for you!". Anecdotal evidence should certainly not be ignored in assessing the effectiveness of amalgam removal. I hope I experience the same results. Speaking of which, another question I have is that some people spend thousands and thousands of dollars on expensive dental procedures and protocols and experience absolutely no improvement whatsoever. How do we account for these cases, if mercury poisoning is indeed the cause?

Thanks for the info the WBC question. Indeed, I found a similar citation online as well: http://www.spiritofhealing.com/articles/html/diseases_caused_by_mercury.html

In response to...

"the outrageously expensive procedures he recommends raise all kinds of red flags."

Here's Huggins, a guy who tells what he believes is the truth about mercury and gets his license revoked, gets ridiculed by the medical community, and has to find other ways to support himself.

He tries to help the small guy and ends up going in debt and losing his office. He eventually learns (by losing his career altogether) that typical lower and middle class Americans are very slow to accept "new" ideas. They are too influenced by TV?one of the last places you should ever expect to find the truth. It's only the upper class who are more open-minded, mainly because they have been more experienced with the ways of the world.

So he has to make a decision: Do I open a clinic trying to help the lower class who cannot pay their bills and who struggle to accept these "new" ideas because they're too duped by mainstream media, in which case I'll stay broke and ineffective at making any possible difference, or do I work with the more open-minded upper class who pay their bills and are more influencial in society, having a better chance to do what I wanted to do in the first place?help people?

He knows the latter makes more of an impact in this "information war", plus he will be able to pay his bills. He knows that?or rather?has learned it the hard way.

Being humiliated the way he has is not something the typical person is willing to endure. It is common sense evidence that his intentions are noble. Not conclusive evidence, just evidence worth considering.

It wouldn't surprise me if some dentists in California are gauging people. If that's the case, like I said in my previous post, fly out east. My removal was reasonable. I would have paid many times more for it, especially knowing what I know now. Shop around. And about recommending expensive proceedures... Huggins doesn't set the price of the proceedures. He recommends proceedures. If they happen to be expensive, how can we blame him for the free market?

Several years ago, I (and my current business partner) worked together for a political party. At the same time, we produced a radio talk show. Our goals were noble and we worked every free moment we had. We also organized meetings where we exposed government corruption. We compiled endless research, then helped organize the meetings in which this information was offered to the public for free.

The first meeting was very successful in that we had a lot of people and a great speaker. The information and documentation was presented beautifully and made an irrefutable case. We naively believed people would be outraged and want to talk to us about what they could do to help correct the situation. We truly expeced people to have the same reaction we did when we first learned about the corruption.

Instead we found that people kindly thanked us and left the meeting. When we organized the next one, not a single person who attended the first one came. I heard every kind of excuse under the sun. Finally I had a heart-to-heart talk to some of my friends who attended the first one and asked why they really didn't want to come. They said, "honestly, it's too scary. We don't disbelieve these bad things are happening, we would just rather not know about it."

Speachless, my friend and I thought it over carefully. We had worked so hard for the good of the people. We researched and gave up ALL of our fee time for years to try and bring this information to light, just to discover that people didn't want to know. It didn't matter whether it was true or not, it was just too "scary".

Here's what we both learned.

The vast majority of the public does not want the truth if it makes them feel uncomfortable. It doesn't matter how important it is. It doesn't matter how well your research is compiled. It doesn't matter how good your intentions are.

Finally a few years into this we finally realized that what we had been told in the founding documents was true. We didn't want to believe it, but we had no choice. We had to face it. I believe this sums it up nicely:

"Mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed."

The unanimous Declaration of the thirteen united States of America
"The Declaration of Independence"

One day, we took a hard look at all the work we did and time we spent and realized that people don't want the truth, at least not the vast majority of them and we certainly weren't the kind of people to shove it down their throats. We decided to stop wasting our time trying to help people who didn't want it.

Now that I'm in the natural health field, I find the same is true. So many people come to me for advice. I tell them what's causing their illness or issue. They go away and then come back 1 or two years later with a story about how they've been to this doctor or that and so on... and how the ailment is back again or never really went away. Finally, after experiencing pain (while pain is sufferable) they look for easy solutions or none at all. Then finally, when the pain is not bearable anymore and no one else has answers they like, they come back. I've heard this same story from numerous natural health professionals over and over.

They had the answer all along. They just didn't believe it. Sad, really.

History shows us that truth is not easy and freedom is not free. Most Americans?sadly?have never learned how true this is. They just keep living in this "matrix-like" existence believing the world really is like "ER", "Friends", or "The West Wing".

People are predisposed to kill the messenger, though they will never admit it.

In response to...

"...tricks of the trade for con artists, disinformationists, and cults (i.e., scientology) is to give the air of authenticity and objectivity by sprinkling little bits of truth with exaggerations, half-truths, and distortions..."

What is Huggins saying that is a half-truth or disinformation? I've never read any research that contradicts what I've heard Huggins say?and I've read a lot of research on this subject. In fact, he's right on target.

I'm not saying that you shouldn't approach all new information with caution. My point is only what I said in my original reponse, "Don't be too quick to judge". That's been my point all along.

In response to...

"On the one hand, you keep repeating the mantra "follow the money", as if anyone who makes a buck is automatically a knowing participant in some conspiracy to rob people"

Nothing could be further from the truth.

Perhaps you missed that I said, "There's certainly nothing wrong with making money, especially while providing a beneficial service."

In fact, in putting the links up here to the books on Amazon, I decided to sign up with their affililate program?just last night. I'm going to recommend these books anyway so should I see if I can make a profit if they sell? Absolutely, and there's nothing wrong with that. In fact, it's the responsible thing to do. Everyone benefits. It would be unethical if I recommended books I didn't believe in just for the purpose of making money... It's this concept I'm referring to while chanting, "Follow the money".

The ADA knows that mercury leaches?even though they lied about it for years?they've finally had to quietly change their position in the face of scientific evidence that's existed all along. And, according to Huggins, they make about $50 million per year in royalties from mercury-based cavitation products.

Listen for yourself:

Huggins Interview

Is this true? I'm not sure, but these are strong statements and we should really verify whether they are true or not.

The issue is that the ADA printed in the Journal of the American Dental Association that study after study shows that mercury, once bound with the other materials in an amalgam filling, DOES NOT LEACH. IF they did in fact print that, and IF they do in fact make money from amalgam manufacturing, then I'll chant, "Follow the money" and the ADA should be prosecuted. If these facts are false, then Huggins should be sued for slander.

All the products I sell or recommend, I believe in. I've had people ask me to distribute products that would have made me a lot of money, but I would not, because I believe they are unethical. Anyone who knows me well knows my integrity, and I'm saying all this to say...

When I said "follow the money":

I'm not talking about the $1 or whatever I'll make (I have no idea because I've never done it before and haven't had time to read the Amazon agreement) when linking to important books on Amazon;

I'm not talking about money Huggins makes promoting expensive services which are forced upon no one;

I'm talking about powerful, well-funded organizations (often funded with American tax dollars, supplemented or lobbied for by pharmaceutical companies) like the NCAHF who systematically spread disinformation which harms (or kills) people for their profit?deceptive money?harmful money. People working to get a paycheck...that's not unethical. I know better than that.

"Deceptive money" forces situations upon us either without our consent, or without disclosure.

I never knew there was a toxic waste in the fillings my Dentist installed in my mouth. It was never disclosed to me, and I've paid a dear price, as have many others, for this criminal negligence. Remember, this is a known toxin. The ADA (possibly, if the $50M thing is true) and pharmaceutical companies (definitely) profited from my harm. But the pharmaceuticals go way beyond lack of disclosure. They extend to building a disinformation infrastructure.

I'm talking about board members at medical schools being paid $150,000 to $250,000 as an employee to do nothing more than attend all-expense-paid "meetings" in Fiji two or three times a year in exchange for blindly including certain pharmaceuticals in the curriculum without consideration of the "net effect" the drug really provides to the patient. What happened to "Do no harm"? (Nutrition: The Cancer Answer II by Maureen Salamon)

Nutrition: The Cancer Answer II

I really recommend that people read "Racketeering In Medicine." This book is not some fluffy idea book. It's packed full of specific examples of documented events, names and places. It's an eye-opener.

Racketeering In Medicine

Putting mercury in people's mouths is such a bad idea... such an unbelievably bad idea that, if this was disclosed to me when the Dentist said I needed a filling, I would have made a sane decision. This lack of disclosure takes place 1 million times every 3 days in the U.S. alone. And most of those who start suffering from symptoms of this go on some kind of prescription medication for a long time. Many?possibly most?of the primary diseases in the U.S. today are known to have a relationship to mercury. If you don't know this now, you will eventually. Keep studying. Follow the money.

IF anyone will keep reading, keep studying and has common sense, they will eventually see that this disinformation infrastructure is not new, but very mature and brilliantly conducted. Again, it takes humility to admit that you've been out-smarted. But this same humility, in allowing this admission, opens the door for positive change. It is the first major step toward health and purging the corruption that so ensnares our government and so many major corporations.

In response to...

"Anecdotal evidence should certainly not be ignored in assessing the effectiveness of amalgam removal."

Bravo! You're absolutely right. That's an example of reputation & testimony at work. Unfortunately, the "organized med" prosecutes doctors getting remarkable results with alternative methods all the time. When alternative methods are used, the pharmaceutical companies don't profit. The concept of anecdotal evidence is damned in the mainstream medical literature. Why? Follow the money.

After my removal, I received DMPS three times in a clinic in St. Petersburg, Florida. This clinic was also participating in a cancer study hosted by the University of Texas at Austin involving I.V. Aloe Vera. They were having tremendous results. I sat in the room several times for hours and spoke with many who were part of the study. I heard their stories and the new hope they had found because their conditions were improving for the first tiem despite being "sent home to die" by their doctors.

A few months later, the FDA raided the clinic, held the employees at gun point and took ALL records relating to the study?including files, computer equipment, and Aloe Vera?and left, never to be heard from again. No warning, no accusations, no convictions, just a simple robbery with an interesting jewel. Why do you think this information (and Aloe Vera) is so "dangerous". Follow the money.

In response to...

"Another question I have is that some people spend thousands of dollars on expensive dental procedures and protocols and experience absolutely no improvement whatsoever. How do we account for these cases, if mercury poisoning is indeed the cause?"

If the answer was simple, I'd just post it here. Unfortunately, it's not.

There are many reasons people may not recover and the best answer I can give you (and it is a really good answer) is to get the book "Amalgam Illness: Diagnosis and Treatment" and read it for yourself. It's not simple and demands careful consideration. In this book, Dr. Cutler does an excellent job of explaining all aspects of detox, including what to do if you don't experience improvements.

Amalgam Illness: Diagnosis and Treatment

There are far too many people who run out and get their amalgams removed without a plan and without understanding the importance of following through with a carefully designed detox plan. Mercury toxicity is very serious and dangerous and should be studied before approaching. People who don't have time to study it for themselves should hire someone they believe is qualified to guide them.

On a final note...

My Father died March 27th, 2002. He had a tumor at the base of his tailbone. I tried to convince him to work on his cancer using alternative medicine. He told me that he was "afraid not to do what the doctors told him to do".

Well, the doctors told him to take Fluorouracil which is known to damage the liver. Guess what. He died of liver failure. The tumor remained nearly unchanged.

Sandy, a friend of mine in Tacoma, Washington, died of cancer several years ago. She wanted to try alternative methods of treatment but her family "emotionally pressured" (as she put it) her into "doing whatever the Doctor said". They were afraid to try anything else. After all, the doctor is licensed. She grew 19 new finger-like cancer growths on the inside of her radiation-burned chest cavity just after radiation treatment which was recommended by her doctor. She died shortly after.

My father watched a video showing a doctor and a Chinese herbalist working on cancer patients. The Chinese herbalist had far better results than the Doctor did. In fact, the doctor's patient died, the herbalist's patient fully recovered. I read him information about the advantages of herbal medicine on cancer. I showed him videos about the same. (Contrary to mainstream media, there is NO shortage of this information available. You just don't see it in the mainstream.)

The Federal Reserve Bank published an internal brochure entitled "Keeping Our Money Healthy" which eventually made it's way to the public. I heard a medical journalist read from it. It said that the policy of the "fed" is to continue to promote the public consumption of "slow poisons like sugar, caffiene, and fluoridated water" in order to be sure that the public will "expire before they retire".

A friend of mine was raided by the ATF last year. A couple of the ATF agents brought their children to pick out what they wanted from my friend's personal property. One child wanted 2 wave runners my friend just purchased, which obviously had nothing to do with the subject of the raid. The brand new wave runners were confiscated and sold to the child's father at a "private" ATF auction weeks later. No trial. No conviction. Just a robbery with interesting jewels.

I just had a discussion the other day with my employee about how people make decisions. She was working with her church who gave away newspapers at traffic lights for free. She saw an interesting pattern. If the first person at the light took a free paper, every other person at the light would also take one. If the first person didn't, none of the others would. In this case, the drivers would just keep their windows up and some looked annoyed. The church members would have to wait for the next red light and try again, always hoping the first person at this light would be receptive.

I told my father that people are like those penguins you see in the Disney movies that mate with their partners and then commit a most noble and utterly dramatic suicide by running over a cliff onto the rocks far below. They just follow each other, like sheep to the slaughter.

In the case of humans, licenses are the bridles that keep them quiet and orderly as they march off to their deaths, believing they're doing the right thing, or too afraid to try to escape. Disinformation is the beautiful, pearly gate, complete with the smell of sweet corn that lures them to the barn.

By the way, America eventually learned that the whole Disney-penguin story was just a lie. The director chased the penguins off the cliff for dramatic effect. It made a better, more compelling "documentary" film. The truth was secondary. Follow the money.

With all this talk about people being like penguins, I am very encouraged by the many people who are awake and always educating themselves. There are a lot of them.

Being in the position of publishing natural health support references, I get to have contact with these types of people all the time and it's encouraging. Most of them are small health business owners and they are not passive about their customers. They know they're not getting rich in this business. It's really about helping people.

My hat goes off to those who live this kind of life and are certainly not apathetic.

I do hope, however, that we can all make a little time for attempting to get the government back in line.

I am disgusted with the recent ban on ephedra products and the coverup behind it. I am frustrated not only with the lies about this awesome supplement, but the hypocrisy in that only the natural ephedra products are banned. The patented artificial duplicates are still legal. I guess only the pharmaceutical companies are worthy to sell this "dangerous" product. Guess we still need to follow the money.

If you're not familiar with this subject, please take time to read this book. It's about a lot more than ephedra:

Ephedra: Fact or Fiction

With as many times as the government has attempted to remove natural supplements from our nation, it's encouraging how well the people have resisted.

I hope people will be willing to make an effort to reverse this ridiculous ban which is based on contrived circumstances. This ban is only a first step in the fight to remove all supplements from us. If this monopolistic activity is allowed to continue, this nation will never get well.

At the dentist office they gave me a California Dental Facts Sheet with a list of materials that included amalgam,plastic-resin, porcelain, alloys, nickel, glass, etc.It often said, "Generally safe,....no DOCUMENTED cases of adverse affects or toxcicty".....time and again no DOCUMENTED was the term used. Kind of disturbed me, because if the medical profession knew everything obviously every time I or anyone else went to a hospital or doctors office, they'd find what caused your symptoms, and send you home well. Not that easy or simple, ...I am just beginning to believe that I personally have some kind of allergic bodily response to metal in my system that gets me ill.Yet, it hasn't been "documented".My only documentation is a myriad of horrible symptoms, and various trips to the ER and doctors offices at age 33.

The ADA and other "establishment" organizations have stated in the past that mercury does not leach from amalgam fillings. The explanation went like this.

They said that just like hydrogen and oxygen?harmful substances on their own?when mixed make harmless water. They continue saying that mercury?when mixed with the other substances in an amalgam filling?makes a harmless compound.

Interestingly, they also "admitted" that their may be a few "isolated" and "rare" instances where people have an "allergic" reaction to the mercury in an amalgam filling.

My "Common Sense" question is this. If mercury truly binds (and does not leach) and makes a harmless compound in a way similar to water, then how can ANYONE have an allergic reaction to it?

They obviously knew that mercury leaks out. This being the case, and knowing that mercury is highly toxic to EVERYONE (science has known this for a long time), why did they continue to endorse it's use and stubbornly maintain it's safety for decades?

Now, real science (not politics) has proven that mercury does leach out, yet the ADA still maintains that it's safe.

According to Huggins, the ADA makes about $50 million per year in manufacturing royalties from amalgam fillings.

Wake up America! Return to common sense and you may regain your health. This is my wish.

"The ADA owes no legal duty of care to protect the public from allegedly dangerous products used by dentists...Dissemination of information relating to the practice of dentistry does not create a duty of care to protect the public from potential injury."

--American Dental Association lawyers

Good quote. It always cracks me up when I hear people from the scientific community poke fun at religion, when science itself is often as guilty of blind adherence to dogma as any other group. I'm not "religious" per se, but the hypocrisy is apparent.

ADA definitely dogma. Any boob can form and organization based on beliefs that suit his own need. Cults do it all the time. The only difference here is that the ADA has money to push their dog....well you know!
