I've known this girl for a while. We went to high school and some college together. Then we went our separate ways but I've caught up with her at the party the other day. I overheard her talking about going to school to become a dentinst. Given that I am now somewhat of an A.A. meetings attendant for post mercury ill patients, I chimed in the converstation with much enthusiasm. I approched her by asking if she was aware that the dentists are known to be the most suicidal of any profession. She told me that she was aware of that, but her reasons for that were cheesy. She said something like that the dentists are stressed due to patients pains inflicted on them and from dentists sitting awkwardly during the drilling or something. Anyway really goofy reasons. I asked if she was aware about mercury exposure. She answered that was really tiny so there is no need to worry about it. Then a deeper discussion followed where I was arguing for mercury being bad, and her doing the opposite, namely that mercury could not be bad, for they've used it for so long, it's more durable, and that there are no studies that were done to prove otherwise. Well you know the usual responses. Anyways, my point is that these students who later become dentists do indeed believe in safety of amalgams. Not all of course, but most I believe do. This just shows that the problem of amalgam illness is not going to be exposed any time soon. They train these students on actually promoting mercury fillings over the rest. If you can't even make a student see the other side of the coin, just think how unlikely it will be to do the same for a denstist. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ooo.gif" alt="" />

Alex, i gotta give it to you man. You have got some patience. if it was me in that conversation, i would've slapped her or spit at her face. I can't tolerate anyone who is against this in any matter. It seems like a lot of people still believe they are safe, even though mercury is one of the most poisonous materials/substances to humans.

But, it seems to me that people believe what they are told, and what they want to believe. It is very difficult to change anyone's mind on anything, even in the best of situations. Kudos for trying.

Some countries in Europe have banned amalgam, though, so progress is being made. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> One day people will talk with disbelief how such a poisonous substance was put in our teeth, in the same way that we talk about things that were done in the past.

I have a feeling even when the majority of people realiza how evil vaccines with mercury and fillings with mercury were.

Things will be brushed under the rug. And noone will be to blame; not the dentists not the ADA not the gov.

Don't ever underestimate the influence you have when talking to someone even if they seem not to be receptive. They often keep a strong facade but inside, they're beginning to ask themselves questions and that's exactly what we want them to do.

We also have to realize that, according to Huggins, the ADA make tens-of-millions of dollars each year by holding some kind of patent right to the manufacture of amalgams.

As usually, follow the money, but keep up spreading the word because, despite the efforts and media power of these people, we are gaining ground.

I dunno about you guys. I have personally made a promise to God. I have promised God that once I am back to 100% health, the way I was 4 years ago, I am going to help anyone I see who has mental, physical symptoms, and emotional symptoms for free. Anyone who has amalgams or loves eating tuna fish. I am against doctors and western medicine. Everyone will be judged by God. Stand your ground guys, because the world is against us.

That sounds like a good promise. I like to help people also and my first approach is to convince them—or at least cause them to consider—that mercury could be the source of the problem.

Amazingly, 2 years ago, when I brought this subject up to strangers, only about 2 in 10 even knew what I was talking about. Now, about 8 in 10 know what I'm talking about and are receptive to the information.
