"why are people so complacent?"

Because the people going against the crowd are the ones that look like idiots even if the crowd is doing things to kill everyone. There is so much pressure from the wrong side of things that the right side isnt considered legit.

Look at smoking; I cant tell you how much it bothered me to be around people whom smoked but ... then again when you complain people look at you like your the one causing trouble (that's only starting to change now). IMO in the long run people wont blame the ADA or the vaccine makers for all the disease; I mean do we blame doctors for when people did blood letting in the middle ages? No people still worship doctors.

IMO it's not from a drug that people are complacent it's from other people and marketing.
