Lynn; Sometimes we may think of God and Satan as opposing factors but equal forces with the same unlimited power. However, God is God and Satan is not. God is stronger than any force of darkness. He does what He pleases (Ps. 135:6), while Satan's power is limited to what God allows.

Because God is in charge over everything, as Christ's followers we don't need to be paralyzed by fear of Satan's power over our lives or the lives of the believers around us. He tempts us and tries to influence us, but the Bible assures us, "He who is in [us] is greater than he who is in the world" (1 John 4:4)

"God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love and a sound mind."
The powers of evil around you are no match for the power of Jesus within you. "If God is for us, who can be against us?"
My friend, please try not to watch so many different TV programs. Those are man's thoughts, not God's thoughts. You seem to be so uptight with all this. I don't like it any better than you do. I have been reading your posts for the past 5 years, and you seem to read and post on so much having to do with End Times. Yes, we need to be ready, 'For no one knows what day or hour the Son of man comes.' Jesus is not up in heaven wringing his hands worrying about this earth. "I will never leave you nor forsake you." "Call on Me, and I will answer you and show you things you do not know about." etc, etc, etc. PLEASE TRY TO CALM DOWN. I know you aren't going to stop, as that is your style, but there is a world full of people that are running around like little ants on a hilltop scared of Obama. If we have Jesus, need we fear? It's been bad and it's going to get much worse before He returns for us, 'His church'. So why not relax and edify people? If you read all this, thank you. If not, well, try to calm down. JESUS IS RULER, KING, and Lord of all lords. In Christ.....
