Egypt has a better grip on reality then we do. What happens to a nation that turns their back on God. Scripture tells us what happens to people/nations who do such as that. You always tell me things I already agree with you with and already know. But we are living in the days of Revelation and perilous times and we do need to take heed of that too. It's by Prophecy in the Bible which is about 1/3 of the Bible that many have come to see God is true. We live in this world till the day we are not here anymore and the Bible does say..
Proverbs 22:3
A prudent man foreseeth the evil, and hideth himself: but the simple pass on, and are punished.
The Bible tells us what is coming because it wants us to know what is coming and to show it is true. America needs to know what has happened to nations that decided it doesn't need God anymore. Do we have any control over that by prayer and actions in some aspects yes. Some things are prophecy and are fixed of course. If people see the danger coming and prepare for what may come until Jesus comes is that a bad thing to do. Why tell us or warn us if God did not want us to know or prepare for it. Thank God you are here because there is very good news too besides things to come.

You have a lot of heresy from Pastors that never came to pass, and the Bible tells us, if someone prophecies and it doesn't come to pass, you KNOW YOU HAVE A FALSE TEACHER (PROPHET). Hal Lindsey,and several others (you have mentioned), have made 'guesses' in the past. NOT TRUE~! There are many others, Lynn, that are going crazy today because of the Obama Administration, and the Embassies being closed because of another threat of terrorism. It may or may not happen. Only God knows. Do we trust that He is still on His throne and in control? I DO! --------- Accurate Predictions=The purpose of prophecy in the bible is given in Isaiah 46:9-10:

HE IS IN CONTROL, NO MATTER WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE, OR WHAT PEOPLE SAY. God sets up and tears down Nations at His will. We are in a country, USA, that has turned it's back on God. WE MUST REPENT! Hi Abigail, Actually alot of people like Teresa Garcia Ministries Bible teaching. And the Four Blood Moons are coming Pastor Hagee talks about them. Plus I do believe the Bible and it does tell of what is coming in the future. Also when you mentioned that President Obama is Muslim at first 'I did not think that was possible' he must be more of a New Age Christian or something. Well since you mentioned that I have done alot of research on it and found some speeches he made and yes we are in a country that has turned it's back on God and that is scarry enough. If you read this whole website here there is alot on here that one may find disturbing to find out what's going on. But we need to know that too. The good thing is when it comes to the many threads on this board one can choose to read it or not to read it. To click on it or not click on it. A must read for serious Christians and anyone who desires to understand the challenges facing us on our increasingly turbulent horizon." --- Chuck Missler Lots of what is going on these days is a look at world events in the light of Bible Prophecy. If God did not want us to study it or know about theses events he would never have told us about them. If you have read and of course you have Isaiah 24:1-24 we know there are challenging times ahead. Just in reading the Bible in whole there is alot there in warnings that can be seen as scarry as well as what we see happening right here on earth. Of course guesses and God said are two different things. Like in Joel Richardsons new book. Of course, our Lord told us these things before they came to pass so that when they did come to pass, we might know that He was God and His word was true(John 13:19) Glad your sharing Jesus on this board.
