Albert Einstein speaks of how important Freedom of Speech is to a free society. He lived through Natzi Germany so he had first hand knowledge about this. He saw what could happen when Free Speech became ridiculed by name calling toward outright banning while freedom slowly errodes. And we all know what happened to the world following that.

Dangerous Freedom there is always Dangerous Non- Freedoms as well trials can come under both but.... with Freedom we have You-Tube, T.V, The Web, Movies, Books to be read that reaches people around the world that we most likely would Not have reached when non freedom prevails in a society. People would not have the freedom to choose in a society such as. Under Freedom the world flourishes. Albert Einstein saw the other side of what could be dangerous to society. He saw Hitler and what could happen to humanity. Many think we can learn from that event.

Albert Einstein Speaks about the Church in Time Magazine in December 23 1940 on page Pg 38. This could be seen as a lesson for all of us today. We are going down a path in this country where many who have boasted of their devotion to free speech seems to be trying to silence the free speech of others. Seems to be wanting to take away our First Admendment rights to be free to disagree right or wrong. So in the light of history maybe we should take a look at what he had to say about his own experience with that. Albert Einstein. Being a lover of freedom, when the revolution came in Germany, I looked to the universities to defend it, knowing that they had always boasted of their devotion to the cause of truth; but, no, the universities immediately were silenced. Then I looked to the great editors of the newspapers whose flaming editorials in days gone by had proclaimed their love of freedom; but they, like the universities, were silenced in a few short weeks. . . .
"Only the Church stood squarely across the path of Hitler's campaign for suppressing truth. I never had any special interest in the Church before, but now I feel a great affection and admiration because the Church alone has had the courage and persistence to stand for intellectual truth and moral freedom. I am forced thus to confess that what I once despised I now praise unreservedly."

What he once despised he now praised because he saw what a society such as that could be capible of. In Germany at the time 90 percent of the population was a member of some church 54% Protestant 40% Catholic 3.5% New-pagan and 1.5 % unbelievers. 1939 German Census. Before anyone blames religion alone we must remember all the athestic non- religious dictators like Stalin, Mao and others it's an equaly opportunity situation. But wether to say Hitler was religious or just used religion history does show which one of those assessments could be more of an accurate one. Hitler could have never risen to power without a bad economy and the printing of money to sustain it. Hitler brought prosperity back but at what cost to humanity. Yet Albert Einstein noted who he admired in a situation such as that. Many German people where ashamed of what had been done to others in their name. It was a great deception and erroding of what we would call the First Admendment rights that helped bring this all about. The world at that time said never ever ever again.

Instead of our freedom of Speech and our Bill of Rights/ Constitution based as we have now the "Danger To Feelings" was implimented instead which lead to the Abuse Of Pulpit which lead to persecution. Our Founding Fathers would not have been allowed to set up our foundations of our freedoms and rights in this country under a article such as that. They would not have been allowed to exist. And who gets to decide what is the common good in a situation such as that. Article 24 of the 1920 Nazi Party Platform, which read: "We demand the freedom of all religious confessions in the state, insofar as they do not jeopardize the state's existence or conflict with the manners and moral sentiments of the Germanic race. The Party as such upholds the point of view of a positive Christianity without tying itself confessionally to any one confession. It combats the Jewish-materialistic spirit at home and abroad and is convinced that a permanent recovery of our people can only be achieved from within on the basis of the common good before individual good."

We must remember that Before anyone blames religion alone we must remember all the athestic non- religious Dictators like Stalin, Mao and others it's an equaly opportunity situation. Plus religion and or being a follower of Jesus can be two different things. People can do many things in the name of Religion or Non- Religion that doesn't follow the Sermon on the Mount. Hitler was not a follower of Jesus there is no doubt for many people in this world in looking back on what he did. Name calling was god under Hitler. Ridicule had power then you didn't have to deal with the issues while freedom slowly errods away. Hitler demonized the opposition yet Hitler seemed to be the one demonized himself He made hell on earth come about.

It Seemed Like A Noble Thing To Do At The Time For Many But... Who Did Hitler Finally Come To Persecute as he was determined to destroy the system. Even those who may have supported him at one time. We know it did not end well in history. "We are socialists, we are enemies of today's capitalistic economic system for the exploitation of the economically weak, with its unfair salaries, with its unseemly evaluation of a human being according to wealth and property instead of responsibility and performance, and we are all determined to destroy this system under all conditions." -- Adolf Hitler, May 1, 1927 Cited in: Toland, John (1992). Adolf Hitler. Anchor Books. pp. 224–225. ISBN 0385037244.

Albert Einstein speaks of how important Freedom of Speech is to a free society. Charges of Hitlerphobia was just a conversation stopper back then. We all know that was not just a phobia back then and hindsight is always 20/20 in history. It Seemed Like A Noble Thing To Do At The Time For Many But...

From what Albert Einstein witnessed he spoke of how important this freedom is not only for those who hold religious beliefs but for others who may not to dialog to have a conversation and then to disagree in peace and even still love and a Cry From Sudan. And for all the people who live in this country who came to this country to enjoy what has made this country so great for all. The freedom to be and the freedom of others to disagree and still live together as a society. Who cries for those who don't have what we have had as they ask.. You Do Not Cry With Us a Church in need. A people in need.So many people are suffering around the world and the conversation goes on.. and on...and.. Documentry.. Sudan - you do not cry with us http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f1ThS7_PMrE
