The Lord is
risen indeed!

---
-Luke 24:13-34

One reason we know Jesus rose from the grave is that, according to the gospel of Luke, He approached two travelers headed to Emmaus, 3 days after His crucifixion. Jesus walked with them; he ate dinner with them; He even gave them a lesson in Old Testament prophecy (24:15-27). This encounter showed the travlers that Jesus conquered the grave--he had risen from the dead. As a result, the pair returned to Jerusalem and told the disciples, "The Lord is risen indeed!" (.34).

If Jesus had not come back to life, our faith as Christians would be pointless, and we would still be under the penalty of our sin (1 Cor. 15:17). However, the Bible tells us that Jesus "was raised to life for our justification" (Rom. 4:25) NIV). Today, we can be right with God because Jesus is alive!

The empty cross and the empty tomb provide a full salvation./ JESUS IS ALIVE!

starNo matter what you may have done in your life, Jesus loves you. He died so that you might have eternal life. He was called a "Man of Sorrows", because He lived a life that was very difficult and yet proven to be the TRUTH, the WAY, and the LIFE, to find eternal life in Christ. "All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. There is none good, no not even one." But that debt for sin required a blood sacrifice, so Jesus paid that price for you and for me. Because of His willingness to die in our place, proves that He loves each one of us equally. If you have not asked Jesus into your life, please pray a brief prayer, something like this, or in your own words: "Lord Jesus, I accept your dying for me, the death on the Cross as payment for my sins. I confess that I am a sinner in need of a Savior. Please come into my life and help me to live for You. Thank you for forgiving me, Jesus. amen"

Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me." [John 14:6]
