The law refers to the Torah btw, penned by Moses.

It doesn't include sadducee or pharisee (or papal bull) laws which additions (and contradictions) to the Torah Jesus hated and spoke against repeatedly, which is why the pharisees and sadducees wanted to kill him and may also be why the popes later killed sabbath/Torah keeping Christians during the inquisitions.
