As an ordained United Methodist Minister, I am here to attest and affirm that our faith and belief in God is central to the American story and informs the value we have expressed in our party's platform.
If all people of faith left the Democrat party it would for sure it seems be the party of banning God and that is probably why there are still people left like the Minister written about above to keep the party from going completely Godless off the map by speaking out. Otherwise the booers would have got their wish, no doubt.
They don't know how lucky they are to have any Ministers or people who believe in God left.

I don't think the liberals even like Sharia Law they have lived in the land of the free for so long but that's part of their religion and you see what is happening overseas.
I believe in freedom of religion but there is no freedom of religion where Sharia Law rules.
