Hello all

I visited the munro-halls the other week. They were very helpful. My sypmtoms are headaches, fibromalgyia and prostatitis just to name a few.

They came to the conclusion that I need to have 4 cavitations cleaned out, 10 amalgams replaced and 2 root canaled teeth to be taken out, all at a cost of approx £7,500.

I havent got this amount of money at the moment, so I need some advice as to what to do. Shall I have the amalgams removed first and leave the cavitations and the canaled teeth until I can afford to treat those aswell?

The root canaled teeth also have alagams in them- should I get those replaced and leave the root canal alone?

I'm abit apprehensive about the cavitation treatment as I haan frightened about letting somebody cut into my gums.

My life has been at a total standstill for 14 years now, and I am desperate, but I dont want this desperation to cloud any decision I make, so any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Greetings ! It's good to see that you are taking the necessary steps to get your life back to some kind of normal.

Russ might be here to answer with his thoughts, but it seems that it would be best to get the amalgams out firstly, and hopefully that will help you feel better and up to going to the next step. Did your Doctor recommend his protocol in your case? I would definitely ask his recommendation since you have several other health matters at this time. Keep us informed.

It's a difficult decision, but based on the experience that I've had, if i was in your position, I would personally have the mercury-fillings that have exposed surfaces removed first to lower the amount of mercury you ingest from the surface-offgassing.

I think cavitations and root canals are horrible, but ingesting mercury vapor affects every body system.

Just be sure that they are removed safely. This is very important.

I phoned them, and they do not carry out partial treatments, ie only remove the amalgams. They complete the whole treatment plan, ie amalagam removal, clean up cavitations and extract the root filled canals during a three day visit.

I am really confused as to what to do now. Shall I just get the amalgams removed first by another dentist?

Do I need to do something about my toxicity before I have them removed?

Bless your heart. You have really been through some tough decision making. As you read Russ' suggestion on 8/21, is to have the exposed mercury removed firstly. It is important that this is done by a highly qualified dentist in removing the mercury properly. Are you unable at this time to do the 3-day treatment? Your health is most important. If you cannot do the 3-day treatment at this time, maybe call around until you find a Dentist that specializes in removing the mercury exposed fillings.

Regarding the toxicity you are now having, I would call or email Vitamin Research Products for the DMSA 100mg capsules. The other one is in Britain, IAS. Some people do not recommend the treatment until after the mercury is removed, however this is not a request nor suggestion by IAS. I have amalgams and I take the DMSA twice daily. It is a big help for me and the candida/rash, etc. So, since you will need to get some treatment either way soon, I'd personally get it and begin using it.
