I know Vitamin C binds with mercury..But, does it bind in Blood or some other place..

I really don't know about Vit C's interaction with mercury in the blood. It's known to detox aluminum though.

My Wife's hair loss reduced once she starts taking Vitamin C(1000 mg/day). I thought Vitamin C binds with Mercury.
I am not sure why her hair loss reduced.

Also, my dentist is suggesting to take Chlorella before the procedure.Following amalgam removal, take 2 capsules and sprinkle the contents directly on your teeth.Keep the Chlorella in your mouth for 10 minutes.After 10 minutes, Spit out the Chlorella and rinse your mouth with water.
Repeat this step that night as well.

I believe it's ok to take Chlorella on the day of the procedure..

Please suggest.

It is most admirable of you to show such loving concern for your wife.
Sometimes if you just type a "search" word in that rectangle box, it will give you some sort of answer as to how others have reacted to different supplements, vitamins, etc, etc.

Raji, It sounds like your dentist knows what he's doing. You usually don't detox before a removal, but my dentist also had me take chlorella the morning of the removal. This provided my digestive system with enough sulfur to absorb mercury that escapes during the removal. I think it's a good idea to take it the day of the procedure, but I personally would not take it before that day.

Putting it on your teeth after the removal is a good tactic to pull latent mercury out of the teeth because of the high sulfur content of chlorella.

How much chlorella should I take on the day of the removal? And how many hours before the removal of the fillings? Any suggestions are appreciated. Also, is there a specific brand of chlorella that you recommend?

Is the mercury expelled through bowels movements?

One other thing,

When I took chlorella in the past, a long time ago (not for heavy metal detox), I did notice that I seemed to retain water after ingesting it. I am very sensitive to sodium. Not sure if chlorella has sodium or not. I wonder what would cause this?

2 Silver fillings were removed yesterday..

You may have been exposed to mercury during the removal, which is common.

Hair loss is caused by elevated DHT. You may want to try taking Saw Palmetto to lower DHT.

Only 2 are removed.4 more left.
Vitamin C only..

My wife has very strange symptoms.When she takes any supplement, her hair loss reduces drastically..It continues for 2 weeks.The shedding then increases..It happened with Iron, Black strap Molasses and even Vitamin C.
So..in order to stop her hair loss, she has to take a new supplement(for instance, copper).
She has no health issues.
Also, when she takes a supplement in large dosage say Vitamin
D3..she will lose more hair.

What we observed is when she chews, take coffee, more saliva, there will be more hair loss.

She was not reacting like this couple of years back.
within these 2 years, she has 3 composite fillings.
So..i was thinking it might be due to composite fillings..But, i know that mercury takes time to show it's symptoms.
She right now has Hair loss,grey hair and Insomnia.

I am not sure if it is due to Mercury/Composite fillings.
when i read any forums about mercury toxicity, i see symptoms like candida, metallic taste, ill etc.
But, my wife doesn't have any of these.

Now, 2 amalgams got replaced with new composite fillings that has BIS-GMA.
Do you know if we can test for xenoestrogens?..What symptoms will be there if BPA is leaching from her mouth.
