Greetings! This is very good that you have taken this step. However, as the other poster said, you would need to do away with the junk foods, candies, and back off on the carbohydrates. Walking or jogging is good. Why not ask someone at this gym for some 'pointers'? A treadmill is good, IF you use it. I mean at your home. I found that if I set a book up on the bars/platter, and read, the time passes much faster. Put on some music that you'd like to keep a little beat with, as you take the steps. Don't look at the clock. The time truly goes by fast if you can read, or face your treadmill, so that you can look out a window. I highly recommend an electric one. If that's out, use the one at the gym and if the noise distracts you, use ear plugs, or a CD player with some music you like. Amazing how fast the time goes while reading or listening to some good upbeat music. Be sure to have a good pair of tennis shoes. Maybe go online and type in 'Beginner Exercises for weight loss.' That should get you started. Watch those calories.....YOU CAN DO IT! In place of french fries enjoy the Lay's Baked Potato Chips. I love 'em! They even have baked Doritos, tostados, etc. Amazing what you'll find once you replace the fattening foods, with other things like veggies, fruit, and drink plenty of water. Remember the journey of a thousand miles begins with the first step. You have the "WANT TO", so go for it!
Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me." [John 14:6]
