-Wisdom

The situation today is:
Lots of knowledge, but little understanding.
Lots of means, but little meaning.
Lots of know-how, but little know-why.
Lots of sight, but little insight.

-Wisdom / Knowledge

'A man looking at the present in light of the future, and taking his whole being into account, may be contented with his lot; That is Christian contentment. But if a man has come to that point where he is so content that he says "I do not want to know any more, or do any more, or be any more," he is in a state in which he ought to be changed into a mummy.'

--Henry Ward Beecher
'The Bible was not given to increase our knowledge but to change our lives.'

--D.L. Moody

-Individuals/ (Knowledge)

'The greatest works are done by the ones. The hundreds do not often do much--the companies never. It is the units, the single individuals, that are the power and the might.'

--The Value of Wisdom

--BIBLE MEDITATION:
"How much better is it to get wisdom than gold! and to get understanding rather to be chosen than silver!"
[Proverbs 16:16] ---

-DEVOTIONAL THOUGHT:
I was interested to note in the newspaper that several billion dollars was moved from one bank to another--7.5 billion dollars to be exact. And there to watch and protect was an army of one hundred policeman and guards--all with their machine guns, tear gas, and all forms of electronic communications--because, of course, everybody wants money, don't they? People would do anything to get their hands on that money.

I wonder, if they had had a truckload of wisdom going down the street, how many policemen do you think they would have needed to guard it?

-ACTION POINT:
It will be a great day in your life when you begin to seek after wisdom with the same intensity and commitment as you seek after gold.

--Dr. Ben Carson Speaks Truth to Power
-Dr. Benjamin Carson's Amazing Speech At the National Prayer Breaskfast / February 2013

Here we have a Christian man not ashamed to speak truth of God's Word right in front of President Obama! Thank you, Dr. Carson/ May God Bless you and your lovely wife, Candy Carson ~

We later read in Newspapers all over the Country that "The day after Dr. Carson's speech, the liberal media went into hysterics. How dare this man speak such things to President Obama, they shouted.

However, the Wall Street Journal published an editorial that stated, "The John Hopkins neurosurgeon may not be politically correct, but he's closer to correct than we're heard in years."
