My husband has a blog were he posted about the "burn pit" he was exposed to in Balad. Pretty scary stuff. Now that I know about the metals, I looked back to a moment my health seemed to be getting better, then suddenly fell drastically. While he was in Balad, he sent be boxes so he did not need to fly back with them. It was when those boxes came that I started getting very sick again. When He came home from Balad, that is when I was bedridden for almost a year and almost died.
