Liberalism means liberty and equal rights plus human rights and free elections and that would go with freedom of speech, freedom of religion just plan free.
So trying to stop others from freedom of free speech by stiffling others freedom of speech is not Liberal?
And living under Sharia Law would not be classified as freedom and Liberal either.
And Freedom Of Religion is what Christians and religious believer's who founded this country wanted too.
