Yeshua/Jesus was an observant Jew that founded a Religion.
He was the orginator of the Hebrew Scriptures and The Greek Scriptures it was all about Him. He founded a people and set up Worship and the people who followed Him as the Messiah WERE religious people. Other religious people who followed the Hebrew Scriptures not as they should have Yeshua was pointing out and should have known who He was were the ones off tract. He did not come to abolish Religion. He came based on one the Hebrew Scriptures. Some good points are made in your poem but still it's not who Jesus/Yeshua really was.

Yeshua doesn't hate religion nor did He came to abolish it. Christanity is GOD searching for man? More like Christianity is man searching for God and it's a form of Worship belief. The world is full of imperfect people that is why we need a Savior as we cannot save ourselves.
Yeshua/God is the one that set up Temple Worship. It's His religion in the first place. He started it. More people watch youtube then study who Yeshua really was though. Which kind of makes it more of an opinion poll then true study but just in all the views on the subject shows lots of people have views on Jesus. Religion can be described as a belief in supernatural power which governs the universe. or the recognition of God as subject of worship. A system of faith and worship.
So Christianity is a religion based on the decription of the word. And one of worship of a God. A system of Faith. So the worship of a God is decribed as a religion.

Maybe it's not that you really hate religion as the word described by the dictionary describes it as a belief in a supernatural power a God and Worship.
Maybe it's more about a religion without a relationship of being an active participant with God. One void that you find lacking.
But Christianity is a Christian and Jewish faith. In one that the God of the universe spoke to the prophets, who told the world about a Savior who would come to redeem even just one sinner. A personal relationship as God cares about just one lost sheep. And we all have gone astray and if one wants to find imperfection in the Church or even in an individual Christian one can find it because according to Scripture we all have gone astray and there is not one righteous not one we are like lost sheep in need of a Savior. We will find no perfect people on this planet only our Savior will fit that description. So is their imperfect people in this world? God says yes we are. Could the Church be better. Yes they could but then again which Church because under the Christian Umbrella there are many Church's and many people. We all have our faults. But that you want a real relationship is a good goal. But that I hate Religion may not be actually what you mean because Christianity is a Religion just like Judism or even Islam.
But the difference is as the non messiac Jews are still waiting for the first return of a Messiah that already came and the records were destroyed in 70 A.D. And going to heaven and peace with Allah is uncertain. But with Jesus Christ or Yeshua the Messiah. It's certain in the way that He is our Salvation He is a Savior of His people. The answer is pretty clear that in Him there is a Savior. We have the answer straight up right there.

Yes, Worship. God is not JUST our friend ONLY a relationship as God is also a God too. If someone asked me what is your religious belief. I would say Christian. Not that I have no religious belief. I totally agree with this blog..
Christianity IS A Religion, Not Just A Relationship
God is God too and we are not equal to God and that's why we worship and praise Him. Yes, Christianity is a religion by Definition. To say Christian beliefs are not religious beliefs is kind of confusing to people. Unless we want to change how it is defined in the Enclopedia of Religions and in the Dictionary or on Wikipedia just about everywhere and in lots of Books! Now those who protest it's not a religion would most likely protest loudly especially if they are really a devoted Christian if.... their Religious Exemptions and Freedom of Religious rights to Worship and Free Speech etc for them and their Church.. Where taken away because they were NO longer defined as a Religion anymore. So they lost all their religious protections under the law. In that case... All of a sudden they probably would get Religion pretty quick and end up in the Supreme Court protecting their religious freedoms because they have rights, being a religion. How can one have religious freedoms if Christianity wasen't a religion? Not that I doubt that the youtube sensation dislikes Church as he attends one. So I don't think he would like the Church or anyone else to lose their religious freedoms or religous rights but his theology is not airtight. So Far We Are Free But There is a battle going on! A spiritual one. The ACLJ's mission is for freedom and liberty of God-given and inalienable rights that must be protected. To protect our religious liberty and that goes for Christians religious freedom's as well. As they see that as a Religion and they are right... And.... If Christians were not a Religion that would be news to them. Most people see Christianity as a religion. That's why they fight for Christians religious freedoms too!
Yeshua is the only perfect one only God is good. We all fall short of the glory of God so how do we get saved? It's a gift we can't earn the right and say we deserve it. Only God can give us life! We can't demand it but God so loved the world that He gave! Will we except His gift? Many will many won't. But why not except his offer?

One can always find fault with the Church as we are made up of humans needing Christ! A Savior. So perfection cannot be found. Doesn't mean that we can't try to be better but our state of being has it's limitations as we are now. We are in need of a savior.
It's about Worship not just a Relationship with our Creator.

That is NOT just about a relationship no matter how warm and fuzzy that sounds. And besides whatever it will be called then.. Right now in any dictionary or definition of the word it's called a "Religion." So one can't hate religion and love God because God will call for Worship and Worshiping a God IS called a Religion at this time. So that's why it can be very confusing to others the Hate word.

Charles Finney, a 29-year-old lawyer, was concerned about his soul's salvation. On October 10, 1821, he retreated to a wooded area for a time of prayer and had a profound conversion experience. Yeshua did not start a new religion or abolish a religion. Yes, Yeshua wants to have a personal relationship with us. Whatever we shall call the worship of Yeshua when he comes we still call it a religion in our language of now. There are some people that just want the relationship without the Worship part. And there are some people who like the word's Why I Hate Religion because they Hate Religion not because they want a relationship with Jesus. Or even with some that do like the idea of having a relationship with Jesus... There may be many people who did not get the poem as it was intended to be received. But as Jesus/Yeshua was an observant Jew and a founder of a Religion as the Lamb Slain From The Foundation Of The World. We always must remember that too.
Yeshua was called a friend of sinners because he went out into the world among the people. Yeshua went where the people were as He went to save the lost.

We Have a Father That loves! There are those who say we like Jesus but we don't like Christians or Religion.. But Yeshua is alittle bit of both Christians believe in Jesus Religion is the faith and His Holy book.
It's true as well that God wants individual relationships with each of us yet also wants us to study what the Bible has to say.
