Maybe it's not that you really hate religion as the word described by the dictionary describes it as a belief in a supernatural power a God and Worship.

Maybe it's more about a religion without a relationship of being an active participant with God.
One void that you find lacking.

But Christianity is a Christian and Jewish faith.
In one that the God of the universe spoke to the prophets, who told the world about a Savior who would come to redeem even just one sinner.
A personal relationship as God cares about just one lost sheep.
And we all have gone astray and if one wants to find imperfection in the Church or even in an individual Christian one can find it because according to Scripture we all have gone astray and there is not one righteous not one we are like lost sheep in need of a Savior.
We will find no perfect people on this planet only our Savior will fit that description.
So is their imperfect people in this world?
God says yes we are.
Could the Church be better.
Yes they could but then again which Church because under the Christian Umbrella there are many Church's and many people.
We all have our faults.
But that you want a real relationship is a good goal.
But that I hate Religion may not be actually what you mean because Christianity is a Religion just like Judism or even Islam.

But the difference is as the non messiac Jews are still waiting for the first return of a Messiah that already came and the records were destroyed in 70 A.D.
And going to heaven and peace with Allah is uncertain.
But with Jesus Christ or Yeshua the Messiah.
It's certain in the way that He is our Salvation He is a Savior of His people.
The answer is pretty clear that in Him there is a Savior.
We have the answer straight up right there.

Behold the Lion of the tribe of Juda Hath prevailed"

He is Mighty to Save!
