Yes, we are not gaining information we are losing information. In the beginning was information and alot of time has passed since then and we haven't mutated into something better. All mutations are is deleted information not good. As through Archeology finds and the story of Nimrod in the Hebrew scriptures show Gilgamesh and Nimrod appear to be the same in history. And a flood account that is described so simular to the Biblical account would match up with this apparent truth as well.
