I'm like many of you, I was mercury poisoned from my silver fillings. It took me almost a year of hell to figure it out! I went to the dentist to get a couple of teeth filled, after the dentist injected me with numbing medicine I faited. He sent me home with a prescription of valume 5, said to come back in a week. I did just that, thinking the v5 would handle the problems. After my last visit, I went down hill. It was little things to begin with. A month or so afterwards I started with neck pain, headaches. The headaches would progress as the day went on. I would go to bed earlier and earlier everynight. Then came the ringing in the ears, followed by ear aches. That progessed into vertigo!! It was hard for me to drive at this point. Then the TMJ kicked in, I would wake up with bleeding gums and my teeth started to loosen. After months of this I started researching. The doctor had diagnosed me with vertigo, allergies, and put me on depression medicine for my panic attacks. I never took any of the meds except the nasal spray. I soon gave up on that too!! I went to a heath food store where I purchased a detox that you do with silver fillings in. I noticed a difference right away, that is when I knew I was on the right track <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> It has taken 4 years and 6 removals for me to be almost human again. I still have 2 to go!! It has taken lots of research and patience for me to get where I'm at today. I found out that you have to do it for yourself. So if you feel like your all alone and the doctors have told you that you will have to live with these new health problems that have developed overnight, they are very wrong!! With proper nutrition, detox, and patience you will have your life back. I have two kids, they were the reason I did not give up. I feel they were paying for my pain just as much as I was. I think mercury is the fault for pain, disease, and death in this country. -Treva

Welcome. It's very good to hear the good news that you're on the road to recovery. It seems that we all have to do this on our own because doctors know nothing about mercury toxicity and how to treat it. I've been there myself and suffered greatly. I finally found out through a friend of mine and am recovered as well: My story: http://herballure.com/mmsFeel free to share your story or what you've done to detox so others can benefit as well. Thanks again!

I have visited your site many times before I registered. I read on all the mercury related sites, I have to say this is the best one. I've read your story and can also relate to what you went through. I just thank god it didn't take anymore of my life to figure it out. I've read soo many different stories, it upsets me to hear of soo many people that are affected by silver fillings. It sickens me to think of a dentist putting mercury in a childs mouth. I went back to the dentist who put all the fillings in my mouth and questioned them on the ingredients in my fillings. Little did I know that I would upset the assistant nurse like I did. She gave it away by how upset she got with me, by the questions I was asking her. She told me that I stated nowhere on my paper that I was allergic to silver. I said no I'm not allergic to silver, I eat with a fork and spoon everyday. I said I'm allergic to mercury, like everyone else in the world. I was soo happy I had researched before I went in there. She told me my dentist said I would be sorry if I removed all the fillings. Little did I know a couple of them were leaking from me grinding my teath. When I went to my new dentist he showed me the black blue color on my teeth. Every since I've been reading on this, I'm questioning my mothers asthma. I told her to go to the dentist and have her fillings removed. She went and had one that had been leaking for 20 years replaced. She immediately got flu like symptoms afterward. I figure I inherited my sensitivety from her. Since then I've found out the hard way you need to be very careful on your choice of a dentist. -Treva

Huh, so there just might be a connection between TMJ/TMJD! Looking back, I now realize that my TMJ hell began somewhat soon after I got some new fillings... it was a testing and hellish time in my life, and I made the stupid choice to quit smoking for health reasons... a great idea normally, but with the fillings in not so good... why? Because I began chewing gum in an almost violent and frequent fashion to stave off the nicotene jones... and because Of the stress I was grinding my teeth in my sleep... I'm pretty darn certain one fed the other.
This may be a bit extreme, but I really hope that the people who are responsible for this Mercury filling cover up pay the piper in some way or another, whether in an afterlife or in their next lives. The damage this stuff does is pervasive. Not married, but when I do and my wife gets pregnant, beforehand I am going to INSIST!!! that she have any fillings removed and be chelated. Scary to think that some kids are born with this gunk allready in their bodies.
