Hi there,
it's my 1st time on the board.
My story is one that may be familiar. In late 2002 I had 2 mercury fillings placed in my mouth and started to have chronic fatigue like symptoms. I did not link the fillings to my condition until 2004 when I had the fillings removed using all the necessary precautions. I felt a lot better.
I did not quite feel totally 100% and decided to have 3 final fillings (which I had for over 10 years without problems) removed. I regularly see a kinesiologist and it was flagged up that mercury was still and issue. I had the final fillings removed and embarked on a chelation programme.
Maybe I chelated too hard because I felt lots better when I wasn't taking any supplements than when I was - is that normal? I have since had various tests done (urine and kinesiology) showing that mercury is no longer a (big) problem for me. The only query I have is that I feel worse whenever I take any vitamins or supplements - is this because my body is extra sensitive or because it would prefer to deal with everything on its own and in its own time?
I read so much about different chelation therapies. I honestly believe that the detox made me feel worse as my body could have got rid of most of the mercury at its own speed without becoming stressed. I was wondering if anybody (and Russ esp) had any views on this.
With best wishes,
Ray
