Yes, America once was/has always been Freedom of Speech and Freedom of Religion. As you so aptly stated, the Bible used to be taught in the classrooms of America. I know an elderly woman who recently went home to be with our Lord, who was a Bible School Teacher. She truly enjoyed it and so did the students.

None but God can satisfy the longing of the immortal soul; as the heart was made for Him, He only can fill it.

Our Lord tells us, "Seek and you shall find". He is not far from any one of us. As Louis Giglio has said, "Go look up in the heavens. He is there!" Of course we know that the Lord Jesus Christ dwells inside the believer's heart. Yet we see the Lord all around us, our Creator.

"With unrelenting crescendo, the symphony of a life replete with melodic progression, hastens to its finale.

And a friendship that is ours to share, with its "largos" and "allegros" moves everlasting; onward, in sweet memories."

There are hundreds of thousands of religions, but there is and always will be only ONE, Creator of all mankind. Jehovah !

Thank you, CTD for this information. Perhaps others will come along to keep the thread going and information flowing. God bless you!
