So I have been battling mercury toxicity for about a year now. I've had it before then but didn't know it was mercury causing the problems.
I have been eating a very very healty diet and haven't gotten sick in the past year, and just got all my fillings out within the last 5 weeks (its been 8 days since the last one of ten fillings came out). Not getting sick at all says a lot since I was sick very often in my life (I'm only 20 now) and I have a very stressful job as a cook. I also don't supplement with any multi-vitamins, only whole foods and herbs.
Even though I have never gotten sick, I do have a lot of mental symptoms and a few physical symptoms of mercury toxicity, and realize that my diet is very very high sulfur (lots of egg yolks, raw cheese, garlic, etc...) and I really like high sulfur foods. I don't know what I would enjoy eating without them.
I am feeling more mentally stable since having my 10 fillings removed... but was wondering if I should try a low sulfur diet. I have tried a gluten free casein free diet for a week a few weeks ago and didn't notice any difference with that.
What do you guys/gals think?
