So I heard Russ Tanner in another thread mention milk prevents mercury excretion, or at least some studies showed that.
Does anyone have a link to these studies? The only dairy in my diet is Raw Romano Sheep's Cheese (from pastured sheep) and organic butter, but I was going to get real milk from a local grassfed farm soon and wanted to see these studies for myself.

I got this statement from Dr. Boyd Haley in a DVD lecture we are trying to get permission to sell. He has done a lot of research on this but we're running into roadblocks trying to make the information available.
I'll keep this forum posted. In fact, I was told we would have an answer by Monday.

Is it the calcium which prevents the detoxing or some type of protein in the milk?

Ya, I would mainly like to know what type of milk caused this...cause your body digests milk (or doesn't!) in different ways according to how it was processed. Powdered milk and pasteurized milk from factory cows is very very different from raw unprocessed milk fresh from a grass-fed farm.
I read a study on rats when I was searching on google...and it said they still excreted mercury when fed milk powder...though it wasn't the point of the experiment to prove that.
